My holdiay was made! I'm keeping Neutopia II and playing it!
Oh.
Well, it's good either way, I guess. LOL
I would have probably kept it too, had I not already taken it out because of my tendency to remove carts/cards from the system after playing them.

Well the system came from a joined pawnshop in Winnipeg that my boss also owns, whereas I am in Ontario. Apparently the system had been there for awhile and he remembered me saying something about always wanting one. So whomever had brought it in was LOOOONG gone.
Anyway, I'm happy, I'm also quite impressed with Neutopia II, it's actually quite good. Also now that I have a TG16 I need to start collecting for it, unfortunately that means buying online for me, since I never see the games in the wild.
27th Console in my collection, and the HuCard probably puts me somewhere in the 550 game range now.

Well, it's Cash Converters in Winnipeg, that specific store was purchased by my employer here in Ontario. Apparently, the people there though have no idea what games are worth good for you (so sometimes they call upon me to see what they can sell them for) ... which means that they often bring games here for me to price, of which I take my share of the good games, bad for you.
Like they just brought a load of NES games, some of which were mint condition in boxes.
Zelda II (I nabbed that)
Battletoads
Krazy Kats
And yeah, I love my job and my boss, he wasn't aware of how rare/expenisve Neutopia II is, which is why I felt bad (but super gleeful when I checked on DP guide to see what it was worth). He has no idea how awesome his gift really is.

I don't see any reason to feel bad about it.
Your keeping it to play~
It's not like your turning it for a profit. Then you should feel bad.
Still, your not... So yay~

PS2. That's a Guncon2.
I know this is a dumb question, but how do I hook it up? The yellow connector is the same length as the usb cord, which is about 2 inches.
I can use this with PS1 games as well, correct?

Normally these come with another cable that has a double female end and a male+female end(basically a pass through). The male+female end goes in between your tv and the composite out from the PS2. The end on the gun (next to the usb) connects to the double female end. It's double female to support 2 guns. I've found that most Guncons found in the wild don't have this cable, but it should be simple to make.

Yes, but it's not a special cable. In fact it's just a standard composite cable, an RCA cable, same type used for most video game connections that are Ye/Wh/Re. The special cable is simply an RCA cable with a splitter built in on one end so you can use two guns. Any RCA cable with a female end for the GunCon2 to plug into will work.

Dragon Warrior 3 (GBC)
Super Robot Taisen 2
Summon Night
It was nice to cap off the year like this. :) Yes, I paid in the hundreds for everything I bought but, I did very well, especially considering it was from a place like Play n Trade. I don't think they will stack the 10% club discount with a 10% off coupon and a B2G1 deal again in the future. I was trying to talk the owner into bringing the rest of his DC imports out so I could nab the shooters out of them also but, I think he's gonna wait until the B2G1 is over (think it ends today). Hell, I don't blame the guy. LOL

Well... I haven't gone hunting AT ALL this month. I tried stopping at my church's thrift the other day, but they were closed, oddly. I hope that's not part of the budget cuts they were talking about >_<.
Today I was in CompUSA (TigerDirect bought the ones in my area). They keep showing "$1.99 PC Games" in the Black Friday (Week I, II, III...) newspaper ads, but I never make it there on Friday, so the prices go back to $10 each. Well, the bin was marked down again today, and they didn't have a per-person limit, so I got the only two worth getting: Castlevania & Contra (5 NES games on one CD) and Freedom Force vs the Third Reich. There were a bunch of other games in the bin, but they were all either hunting stuff or B-grade action titles. Something about running Las Vegas, something called "Nitro Family," and some really generic stuff that was completely indistinguishable.
I may go back and get another Castlevania & Contra, since it's in NES-box-size packaging, and a sealed copy might look nice with my NES boxes.

(PS3) Guitar Hero World Tour w/2 guitars bundle, $88 at Target
They were all sold out for Wii and 360, but like all online-enabled console games, I prefer the PS3 version.
This bundle was $99 last week. Considering that the game and one guitar bundle is $99, isn't the MSRP of this set higher?

Haven't posted a find in a while, well, because I haven't found anything. A few weeks ago I picked up Oblivion (PS3) @ Wal-Mart for $30. Which is a great game by the way.
Then I stopped by Value Village in Charlotte and pulled the trigger on a CIB 32x for $15.50. I was lucky it was complete, because I don't know much about them. Despite the roughness of the packaging the 32x works great and is good shape. And I'm not sure why but it took me about an hour and a half to get it working. Although I don't have any 32x games it plays Genesis games well. And my Genesis looks a lot better because it provided me with some much needed AV cables (instead of RF). I passed on a Sega CD that they had for $25, which was missing a AC adaptor. I apologize for the wordiness.

Oh man, we totoally have that at work, I'll have to check it out.
It's been really slow for me over the past few days, since nothing new is really coming into the pawnshops around here right now it's just waiting for the influx of people who want to sell stuff for money after christmas.
Still, it sounds like some people are getting really awesome things this month.

For a christmas gift my sister's boyfriend gave me a Famicom game converter with a 31-in-1 famicom game in it. It is quite possibly one of the awesomest gifts ever, while not rare (apparently) it is still something that I have never seen around and I do indeed have famicom games that I would like to play. Lately I've been going through gryomite/excitebike cartridges to find converters, so it's a total win.

The Japanese games were from my parents, and Patapon came from my brother. I've been wanting it for a long time! He was luckily able to get it from Target for $13.99.
It is also the only English game I received today. :/
The artbook came from a comic/anime shop in the area. I can't believe the owner had it sitting in his shop still!
I never noticed it before, but I guess that's because I never went to his other location in town.

Santa visited the old apt. today. recieved call of duty world at war and gears 2 (both 360)...also Christmas eve bore the advent of castlevania judgment (wii) as well as a $40 gift card to gamestop. I did manage to buy my brother and sister in law a brand new Nintendo Wii.
sadly, i've nothing to share on the classic title front as i've had no chance to go to the flea market and as ususal pawn shops in the area consist of nothing but ps2/xbox/360/ps3/ and handhelds. nothing.....classic....ever.
Anyway, i've gotten to the point where i'm not going to buy every title i find for the snes, nes, dreamcast, genesis, sega cd, saturn etc... I'm trying to get much more focused on what i'm collecting because the old budget just took a big slap in the face with the purchase of a 2004 dodge dakota as well as the student loans i'm racking up while teaching and taking masters courses at the same time.
Anyway, Christmas was great today, nothing to complain about. I'm just thankful for family and friends and my wife who really went all out with gears 2 and call of duty.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

All games (except the loose ones lol) are CIB. Price tags are on plastic bags, not on the boxes.
GG - Surf Ninjas
PS3 - Motorstorm
MS - Astro Warrior
NES - see pic I'm lazy :p

Japanese Ghostbusters on Mega Drive, Box and Game- Works fine with Game Genie, even in English.
Monster Party loose- Pretty good, but the back is a little smoke damaged, ala SNES style.
Dreamcast mouse- Some place finally had it for less than $10.
Gangster Alley (2600)- I never pass up a Spectravision cart.
All this for $12, I'm pretty satisfied. :-D

Nabbed the little TV for 5 bucks. Needs a bit of adjustment but I definitely got my money's worth. I've got it setup at my compy desk so I can test the CDs I am compiling for the Starpath.
Behold! AtariCD!!! :D
EDIT: That's Neotokeo2001's "Combat Black". Thumbs up on the customs!

A new flea market just opened in a nearby unincorporated town, and I've found a few things there already, all NES.
Jimmy Connors Tennis (R6)--$2.50
Day Dreamin' Davey (R5)--$5
Bromance of the Three Kingdoms' Sons 2--$5
Kirby's Adventure--$2.50
There are several more games and accessories there, but I just haven't had much time to pick through them these past couple weeks.

Interesting. Most of my Japanese import Mega Drive games work on my Jvc X-Eye with no additional assistance, except for TMNT: Return of Shedder(it stops after loading the title screen). I have a Genesis game genie and I wonder if it would alleviate this problem.

Well, I have a Model 1. From my knowledge, only the X-Eye and Genesis 3 have ports that allow Japanese carts. Of course, it doesn't matter if the cart is locked out.
Ghostbusters isn't, but it still doesn't fit without a Game Genie.

Huge lot of Xbox demos(magazine, retail and kiosk) and a soundtrack. The three on the top roll are all piled up with about 25 demos a piece.

Two rare Xbox lanyards from before the system launched. They came with the lot and one list th eupcoming specs of the Xbox and what certain developers think of the system.

Um...the only two demos I needed from the 60 piece lot, lol. Another store kiosk variant and a rare demo loop from 2002. It has one of the deepest scratches I've ever seen and yet it still plays.....about half way thru.

Speaking of, I have a new batch of discs to send your way. ;)
I went to the flea market and found tons and tons of good CDs... but the sellers were selling them for $3 each so I passed. They were scratched - I would've bought them for a buck a pop, but not for $3. Bleh. I could've bought two Grace Jones CDs. :(
I only bought two things:
Origin/FX Screensaver set (new in box)
QEMM with two games (QEMM memory manager plus Wing Commander Privateer and Shadow Caster), complete in box.
$1 for both. There were actually around six brand new copies of that QEMM set for sale at a certain booth last week, but I couldn't go because I was down and out with a nasty chest cold. I saw some copies on Wednesday but I didn't buy one because it was too big and wouldn't fit in my backpack. D:
But yeah. :p

You know the usual drill. Drop me a line with a total of discs and we can work from there. (I think we both know I have no problem working with you on this subject matter)

At hollywood video I picked up Ninja Gaiden Black and Fatal Frame, both for XBOX, both in hollywood video cases.
Also found conker live and reloaded, warioworld, and mario superstar baseball, but conker and warioworld were both scratched as hell and the disk buffer was broken, and they couldn't find the mario baseball disk. >_>
