Ah didn't know about this thread! I knew there was one in this forum! Anyways here are my finds of the last two weeks.
I picked up this genesis/sega cd/32x combo for 12 bucks at my local thrift store. It caught my attention when they had it behind the counter(they always have consoles behind the counter) and I asked the cashier how much it was and she said 120.00 and I was like ohhhh okkk but then another cashier corrected her and said 12 dollars and I was like ok give it to me. I only got it because it had the sega cd add on and I have yet to acquire one but then it had a bunch of cables wrapped around it with tape so when I got home I took those out and to my surprise there was a 32x in it with all the necessary cables. I also got the games below for 95 cents each except for the gameboy games which were 2 dollars each. For some reason they charge more for portable games.

Well, my biggest find so far was on wednesday..Haven't uploaded any pics yet, but:
1 Baby Daughter, Jade Lillith.
So right there, its a great month. :D
As for video game finds, during my returning of rentals yesterday while momma and baby were sleeping, I used up my $25 credit at Movie Gallery/VHQ for their "Any used game $29.99 is now $4.99" sale:
Last Remnant (360)
Assassin's Creed (360)
Two Worlds (360)
Infinite Undiscovery (360)
Star Wars: Force Unleashed (360)
All for $1.20 cash after using the $25 credit.
Then today I hit up a different one and snagged:
Tales of Vesperia (360)
Civilization Revolution (360)
For $10-something...I won't have much time to play games with two little ones running around, but at least I'll have something to fill what little spare time I've got. :D

Nice find, I'm assuming the Genesis/32x/Sega CD worked? And it came with all the cables for everything for $12? Wow.

Yeah it worked perfectly. I was playing some Doom 32x just an hour ago and then played the games for the 32x cd which you need to have all the three things plugged in at the same time. That's 3 AC adapters!

Man, the stores I went to were packed. It seems that everybody's out thrift store shopping for some reason. Anyway, all I bought was a Virtual Boy controller for $2.99. Not a big deal by itself, but the hard to find AC power supply was attached to it. :) I checked all over but couldn't find anything else, like a console or games.
Because I didn't feel like standing in line for half an hour, I ended up passing on a Kingsford Match Me (http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Misc/KingsfordMatchMe.htm) game in a different thrift. I'll have to see if it's still there the next time I do the rounds.

Thats because it has a rarity of 0 as production hasn't stopped. The supply outweighs the demand.

So last month I found a Virtual Boy and posted a picture of it in the finds thread. I paid $6 for it and it had the AC power adapter and stand. Well after testing it with Mario Tennis today, I found it works great. So Mario Tennis and a VB mostly complete for $11 is a pretty good deal.

Those AC Adapters are EXTREMELY easy to find, they're the same one as the post-1995 SNES Adapters.

Maybe the adapter itself, but the part that actually connects to the Virtual Boy in place of the battery case is another matter altogether...

While the SNES adapter is easy to find, I'm sure he means the AC assembly which attaches to the controller. The way I understand, that part is hard to find. I found one on mine, but a lot of people aren't so lucky.

The vendor tables at California Extreme this year were really good. One vendor had boxes of manuals and schematics, miscellaneous pinball parts, control boards - the type of organized clutter you look for. He was selling MVS carts $5.00 each or three for $10.00 - some good titles too, but I don't have an MVS cab. (more about the show and vendors in my column in the next issue of RTM) Anyway, I thumbed through the manuals and there was some really nice stuff in the boxes and crates - people were leaving with good sized stacks under their arms. I asked how much the manuals were, "cheap" was the reply, so I grabbed a few. I could have taken a lot more (heck, there were a few old docs that were in beautiful shape) but then I'd run into the same problem of having a bunch of stuff I don't use. So I ended up just buying 5 books, either stuff I can use currently or things that I'd like to use in the future (Hint: machines I'd like to own). $10.00 was the price, all are complete and in good shape.

Breakout
Circus Charlie
Galaxian (upright) Parts and Operating
Galaxian Trouble Shooting Logic Board Part II
Tetris
The bottom three are useful right now, the top two games I'd like to go after.
Stopped into a GameStop today and found this, Gallop Racer 2003 for $10.00...

I have heard that someone came up with a household chemical solution about that. Im just wondering what the next system to develope plastic yellowing will be. Im guessing PlayStation/one and Dreamcast in a few years. That would be horrifying.

From what I've read, it's exclusive to the Super Nintendo. It has something to do with improper amounts of fire retardant chemicals being mixed into the plastic which react with the air. That's why only some systems yellow, and sometimes only parts of a single system.

BF Bad Company from Gamecrazy. It really pisses me off when you ask for a used game because its not on the used shelf so they take it outta the drawers and they give you a rental case from HV, I don't care as much but I'm sure it pisses off alot of collectors or people that want their games mint. amirite?

Haha yeah my other SNES kicked the bucket so I'm using this temp one until I find a nice non yellow snes....awa! Anyways, I went to the flea market last Sunday and found some neat stuff including a 3DO console that didn't work at first but then it did after cleaning it a little bit.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00646-1.jpg
3DO for 20 bucks with Cyberia inside.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00647-1.jpg
Two guides for a buck a piece.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00649-1.jpg
Two dollars each for these. I wanted a Donkey Kong Land with working battery as I'm using the other one as my first battery changing project just in case something goes wrong.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00650-1.jpg
Super C for 5 bucks.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00651-2.jpg
Super Adventure Island for 5 bucks as well. I love the music in this game!
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00652-1.jpg
These N64 games for 2 bucks a piece. I finally have a copy of Super Mario 64.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00653-1.jpg
Needed an extra controller so I got this for 2 bucks
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff280/luiszena/DSC00648-1.jpg
Then finally on the way home I stopped on play n trade and got these games for four bucks each. I had a blast playing Final Fight 2 after wards.
Well that's about it I hope you guys enjoyed the photos.

Stopped off at a Rummage Sale on my way back from the post office this morning. Nothing gaming related aside from 2 aftermarket ps1 controllers that I passed on, and this that I picked up. Woman was asking 10.00. I asked her if it still worked and she said she tested it last night night and was working great, then she offered it to all to me for $5.00 so I bought it.

Pac-Man World (Complete, Greatest Hits) - $1 [IAP]
Didn't have have much time to go yardsaling this week so I just went around town and didn't go to much more then a dozen sales and I actually found this as the only Playstation game I saw (shortly after 10) at the last sale I went to.

the hv sale is jumping my count up on some fun games:
NBA Street V3 (GCN) [game only]
I got this because I love the nba street series, and the gc version has nintendo characters as playable characters. plus, it is some homage to my first gc game, which was nba street. there was some deal with gamecube where you get 2 free games. i got mario party 4 and nba street when they did that.
Stuntman: Ignition (360) [complete]
I loved the ps2 version, and a complete version for 5 is too good to pass up since I loved the first one so much
Amped 3 (360) [game only]
I love the amped series. I am currently playing through 2, and saw 3 chillng there and could not pass it up
Phantasy Star Universe (360) [box and game]
I think I am down to 2 or 3 Sega games left on 360 now. This game goes for 15-20 normally everywhere I look, so 5 is an awesome price
Juiced 2 (360) [game only] no explanation. it was a racing game for 5. why not
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360) [game only] I have been meaning to get a Splinter Cell game for 360.
Rainbow Six: Vegas (360) [box and game] I heard good things about the game, so why not
Before discount: $81
After discount: $35
I would say that is not a bad deal at all.

I had a good day at the fleas today. My family was going to check out this flea we hadn't been to last week, but they were closing by the time we got home from church. I bugged them to go Saturday, so we went and it sucked. I got some tapes and vintage scifi books, but nothing game related. I saw Star Trek 25th Anniversary boxed with manual, reg cards, and 5.25" floppy. I would have picked it up, but I couldn't tell whose booth it was to go pay them, and it only had 5 disks. The 3.5" version is at least 7 disks... Funny observation - all the CDs and tapes I saw were either country or metal, not much inbetween O_o.
Since this one was rather small and there weren't many people there, we went to one of the bigger ones. Highlights of my day include several Rush albums and a good 2600 haul. Passed on a fat PS2 with network adaptor, asking $25. I thought about flipping it, but meh.
All of this was $35 after it was all said and done. After I passed on the PS2, I saw a 2600 sitting on a table, and asked about it. Then, I noticed a nice box of games behind it, including Dig Dug, Ms Pac Man, and some other more arcade-port looking carts. I offered the young guy $40 for everything, but he said he couldn't take it. He countered $50. I said I'd think about it, then went off to find vinyl. When I came back, an older guy had joined him. I look at the younger guy and offer $20 on just the games, which he had said $28 for before. The older guy sounded happy, and said I could get the system for another $20. I countered $35, and had a box of Atari to lug around. He kept the one stack of games that I saw before, about 7 or so, not a big deal.

Thought I spotted a great find at a local garage sale today:
Xenogears (Black Label) - 25 cents
Unfortunately, when I checked it out, disc 1 was missing. I checked all the other game cases and it wasn't in any of them. I asked the homeowner if he had the disc and he said no, but since it wasn't complete I could have it for free.
Too bad it wasn't complete, as it's in excellent condition and everything else is there. It looks like disc 1 sells for $20 or so alone on ebay, so I may just sell or trade this as-is if someone needs the case, instructions and disc 2.
Also got God of War II (loose) for $3 at the same sale.

A Couple things...
I went out to a bunch of thrift stores today, and scored a couple things. I got a promotional Star Fox 64 VHS, in EXCELLENT condition, a complete (mint?) copy of RC Pro Am, and a couple miscellaneous PS1 games, including NFL game day in the old school Playstation box, and "bazookatone" in an old "ridged" box. How much are each of these worth? I also got some sega master system game, hang on/safari hunt. I also saw at a thrift store an ROB with a missing battery cover and no attachments, and a power glove without the sensors. I have been dying for a power glove for years, and was completely bummed out when I couldnt find the sensors. I didnt buy these two items. How much are they worth? Would it be easy and cheap to find just the sensors?
The other PS1 games i got were:
Pitball
Tunnel B1
ONE
Forsaken
Ball Breakers
Bio Freaks

Its open sundays from i believe 9 to 8. It might be a bit of a drive from there. Check out their website!

I got Jack Bros for the VB Complete today, 28.88. A little more than what I like to pay, but I really don't have anything higher than an R4.

Thought that I had posted this earlier, but apparently just previewed it and didn't save it.
A few weeks ago, I had picked up some promo and pre-order stuff from a woman at a flea market. When I went back today, she had some more stuff. I am convinced that she or someone she knows worked for EB Games. Today's haul was:
http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll314/JYakapucci/003.jpg
Atelier Iris Eternal Mana Bonus soundtrack CD
Grandia II Music Selections (Sealed)
Castlevania Curse of Darkness Soundtrack Sampler (Sealed)
Threads of Fate Music Selection
Legend of Mana Music Selection
3DO Sampler Disc (Sealed)
Not pictured:
Demo for the PC game The Punisher (Sealed)
Jan 2000 Dreamcast Magazine demo disc
All of this for a grand total of $7.
The woman told me that she may have more out tomorrow. There were also some others that I didn't take, including some 'Not For Sale' N-Gage games. Might have picked them up, but I wasn't sure if they were worth anything. The titles are Rayman and some Tony Hawk game. Both had the game and case.

The PP2 works beautifully. The Astro Blaster needs some monitor work and a new glass top cut. Probably going to end up throwing a 48 in 1 in it.

Yeah, I'm happy about those. Now I have one album (Emotional) on cassette, a 7" 45 of Rock Me Amadeus, and now the 12" 45. It's the strangest thing to find this stuff between The Commodores and Bread, but I'm not complaining.

I'm jealous. I wish that arcades were as easy to collect for as console games sometimes. But there are a lot of logistics involved in purchase, upkeep, and space. Oh well, ever since I've caught the arcade bug I've been clamoring for another machine. I need to be patient though. I have a very limited amount of space so I need to take my time with deciding what's next.

I hit a streak of sp systems. I paid $30 for the 2 light blue ones, $20 for the bright blue one, with 3 games in the bag with it and they threw in the hey you pikachu with the mic and vru for free, and 10 for the other one with 4 games included with it. The cds were about $.50 each on average.
The n64 games were $1 each, i am pretty happy about starcraft!
Also the metallica and pink floyd albums were $1 each.
All the saturn stuff was from a rummage sale two weeks ago, i was the first buyer to get into the electonics room, it was all in a box under a table, there was an old guy running the room, he said how about $10 for the box. So yes, $10 for all of the saturn stuff, most of the games are in excellent shape.

I used to go to that fleamarket every weekend when I lived there, I got some AMAZING finds there, there was one dealer that had tons and tons of sealed nes games for 5$ (old store stock from when bradlees went out) the best gem I got there was MUSCLES for nes and zelda. as well as another dealer that had prototype and test shot transformers in a bin from hasbro.
Nothing major, but I did find a single DVD pickup today.
I hit Big Lots up this morning. During my browsing I found The Flintstones Season One set for the low, low sum of $3. Score.

Flea Market..
Huge.had to be over 1000 people there easily. With people steadily coming in...I went late and had to park really far.took forever to get out of the place with traffic.
The problem I see is,hardly any sales..No one buying anything, carrying no bags etc..Why,because the vendors are NUTS..Prices so high on everything-Junk....
I don't know if for some reason that really old anteena TVs got rare or something but everyone was $30-50-$75..
I'd hear vendors give a price on things and laugh $50.00 for a beat up old DC radio with no plug wire.
Lots of games but so highly priced...A vendor couple I know had a nice selection of old game items..They were hoping to do some business with me as the selection was right up my alley..My dad and son were walking up ahead of me and the vendor couple saw them first,My dad overheard them say"shit Daryls not here"..
I walked up a few minutes later and started to ask price/given the tour selectiom..$40.00 for taped up over top,non tested master system.....$35.00 for 1 controller dirty SNES systems..$5-$10.00 on games..I didn't buy anything..I think they were quite pissed at me maybe hoping to make money with me,...maybe to even out the fees of the place as nothing was selling....I watched as other people asked and got the same prices.put the stuff back down quick....
After walking asle after Isle..I get a new air pump for $2.00
A long AC cord for basement $2.00
Two NES games $2.00 Each..

i checked out the small flea market near me and found nothing, then went to another small one nearby and bought 4 cds for $10, eminem, kid rock, kanye west, and a wdve radio station cd.
So we were heading home and saw a random sign that said rocky flea market, i was like wtf, rockys is a restaurant that opened about a year ago, so we drive up and there was 1 vendor set up, we almost drived by but decided to stop. I looked and saw nothing and was ready to go, then i saw in a box of books what looked like dvd seasons. She had 4 seasons of star trek deep space nine. I had no idea what they are worth. She went in the restaurant and asked her husband how much he wanted, he said $4 each or all of them for $10? Weird math? so i bought them all and it turns out these are crazy expensive, going for $25-$35 a season on ebay. I am happy with the find!

Here's the bulk of what I've acquired in the last few weeks:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/Nesmaster/P1010022.jpg
Games were between $.50 and $13 each, the cheapest being the sports games and Banjo Tooie topping the list at $13.
Zelda OoT, F-Zero X, Duke Nukem, and Starfox are all CIB with paperwork and plastic baggies, and are some of the best boxes I've ever seen. They look like the plastic was just removed and then the games were put away for years. Those 4 were $10 each. Razor is sealed and was roughly $6 shipped. Robotron was $6.50 CIB
The Gold N64 was $80, with 4 gold controllers, expansion pak and hookups. A little pricey, but I have always wanted one.
I paid $250 for the 3 Nintendo Power controllers, $200 for the M2000. $200 is chump change for an item you've been waiting roughly 9 years to own. :p Looks never used as promised, and not a mark, scuff, or scratch anywhere to be found.
Planet Earth BR was $30, Crash MoM $25, and Max Payne 2 $5
Not pictured: Very nice boxed N64 with 2 grey controllers, hookups and 7 of the above games. Yoshi's Story, Quest 64 (not pictured...oops!), Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye 64, Wipeout, Rainbow Six, and Wayne Gretzsky's 3D hockey. $30 plus shipping.
Loose N64 with 3 controllers hookups and the other 7 boxed games. $20 plus shipping.
Kirby's Adventure NES, complete and very mint with plastic baggie. $18 from Sparky on here. :)
Waiting on: Ms. Pacman Maze 64 CIB, paid $8.50 shipped? Dr Mario 64 loose, $10

That gold N64 is blinding me!!!
Eh.
Saturday we went to sales. My dad got a box of junk for $2. It included a six switch Atari 2600 covered in white paint splatter (wtf?) and missing the screws. Looks like someone tried to fix it. It's a pretty low serial number too. I got the Atari but I have no idea what to do with it.
On Saturday I went to the flea market. I found a boxed Timex Sinclair 1000 with Frogger, some financial programs, and the 16k RAM expansion for $10. I also got a boxed Where in Time Is Carmen San Diego? for NES for $3.
I also hit the flea market on Sunday and found 2 copies of Castlevania IV for $5 each. I'm keeping one and the other's going to eBay.
2 days and not much picture-worthy. The PS1 games (and the Uke!!!) I found on Friday were pretty cool though so I guess not a bad weekend.

I had a damn good weekend; finding plenty of stuff I had been wanting for a while along with a few extras.
- Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64. Loose in near mint condition): $1
- Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64. Loose in near mint condition): $1
- Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis. Loose in near mint condition): $1
- Kirby's Adventure (NES. Loose in very good shape): $1
- Adventures of Lolo (NES. Loose in good shape): $1
- Sega Superstars Tennis \ Xbox Live Arcade bundle pack (Xbox 360. Complete in very good shape): $4
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSX. Non-GH in very good shape): $35
Non-gaming items:
- Star Trek: Generations (DVD. Single-disc Widescreen edition, New): $6
- Stargate (VHS. Widescreen edition in very good shape): $1
- Belken Wireless Router (Loose w\ power adapter and 2 ethernet cables): $1
- VHS Cleaning Kit (New): $1
Passed up:
- Xbox (With 2 controllers; missing AV cable & power adapter): $50 (They wouldn't go down on the price even though it was missing the cables)
- Star Trek: Nemesis (DVD. 2-Disc Widescreen edition, New): $6 (Didn't have enough to buy it and Generations)
I had been wanting a copy of Lolo for years, and this is the first copy I've found of it anywhere. It may not be in as great of condition as that copy of Sonic 3D Blast, but it'll do for now. Also, I finally found a copy of SOTN at a reasonable price after years of searching.

After wasting an hour or two at a goodwill and some pawnshops, I headed to half price books. I went straight to the small console games section where there were three SNES cartridges in a stack. I pulled them down first noticing that they were clearanced and then the titles:
Soul Blazer $1
LOZ: Link to the Past $3
Killer Instinct $1.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3519/3737105986_7aab609600_m.jpg
Clearly they had only heard of zelda and didn't recognize the others. Didn't know that Soul Blazer was worth something until I got home. This zelda is going in my collection, its got a better back label than my current copy.
BTW: I talked to the manager at the goodwill used to find lots at and they are going to hold any broken systems and carts for me. SCORE
