Guess I will start this month off. Found this at Toys R Us for $12.99. I thought that was a steal.

FFFFFFFFFFFF I forgot it was September already! Noooooooooooooooo T_T

*copypaste from other thread*

Aha. Ahahaha. BWA HA HA HA HA!

FINALLY SOME GOD DAMN SCORES.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-09-01a.jpg
* Office for Students and Teachers was $1. It still had a $160 PRICE TAG on it. It's never been used (shrinkwrapped) but it's got a few tears in the wrap, and the security stickers are intact.
* Windows Vista Ultimate has two DVDs and the key. That was $5.

The finds:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-09-01b.jpg
Sakura Taisen (Sega Saturn, Japanese, complete w/spinecard)
Guardian Heroes (Sega Saturn, Japanese, complete w/spinecard)
The King of Fighters 97 (Sega Saturn, Japanese, complete w/spinecard)
Monkey Island Madness (Monkey Island 1+2)

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-09-01c.jpg
Hackers Original Soundtrack, Hackers Vol. 2, Hackers Vol. 3, Xena Warrior Princess Original Soundtrack Vol. 1 + 2

All five music CDs and the three Saturn imports were $10! Monkey Island Madness was $1.

:D Too bad I can't play KOF 97 without a 4MB RAM cart. The Hackers CDs used to be very expensive the last time I checked, I am DAMN HAPPY to get the two I was missing (I already owned Vol. 2). Woot!

T-Ana "Walking 2000" CD (China) - not quite as peppy, more Western influence. $2.00

Wow, I had no idea there were two more volumes of Hackers CDs. Are V2&3 any good?

It's a good thing you just posted Deadman, since I just visited your local Play N' Trade. But not quite. The owner of the Plano store closed it down and moved closer to where he lived, over in Flower Mound. I found it on the company's website and hit the place today, and it turns out they've only been open for two weeks or so. Anyhow, I picked up a TurboGrafx-16 with a controller there. It was only $9.99 because there was no power supply. After looking at it, I realized that the video cable with it was for an N64/SNES/GameCube and not the Turbo, so he graciously knocked off another $5 off of it. I also bought a "Retro Rocks!" T-shirt and a boxed copy of Earth Defense for the Genesis for $2.99. Had a great talk with the manager and was really happy the place is fairly near my thrifting grounds up in Lewisville. I also came across another game store that I'd never heard of before, called Game Chop, over in west Carrollton. Nice shop, not much in the way of pre-NES retro stuff sadly.

I also bought a loose copy of Kenseiden and a boxed (no instructions though) copy of Ghostbusters, both for the SMS, for $3.49 each. And a loose Tomy Pocket Games Pachinko handheld (http://www.masters.me.uk/pocketeers/Htm-Designs/pachinko.htm) for $1.49. I also picked up a boxed Coleco Talking Teacher (http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Coleco/TalkingTeacher.htm) handheld for $2.49.

Wow, I had no idea there were two more volumes of Hackers CDs. Are V2&3 any good? They're okay, I'm not very familiar with the bands in both of 'em. I'm giving away my old copy of Hackers 2 (mint, other than a damaged jewel case and a slightly folded insert) at GameTZ. If you want it, lemme know.

Sounds like you got lucky on that one, because Rob (the owner/manager) truly is a nice guy and if you get to know him, he'll even keep his eye out for stuff that you're looking for. I need to get to the new store to say hi, but I haven't had the time yet. Good finds, too, as I would have snagged the TG for sure, if only for the second controller and some trade bait.

If you go by again in the near future, tell him "I'm on my way."

>_> Lot sale today, I was digging through a tub of shitty audio CDs and looking me in the face was a boxed, FULL RETAIL version of Microsoft Office Standard 2003 with COA, key and everything.... I'm not kidding... I was charged $0.50 for it :P (Sorry to 1up you Kitsune.)

Okay, a few things, stopped by another Goodwill and picked up 2 new and sealed Genesis games, Vectorman 2 and F22 (some fighter pilot game of some sort with that in the title...). They're not worth quite as much as I hoped, but at $1.99 a piece I can't complain. It seems the new NES game market is a little more... active than the Genesis market. I spotted a really wacky looking FMV PC title called A Fork in the Tale ("http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/a-fork-in-the-tale), featuring Rob Schneider. It looks terrible and hilarious, perhaps both. Anybody heard of this one? That was $2.99, btw.

So today I returned to Half Price Books as it turns out I already have 4 of those Genesis games complete, so I didn't need them. They have a Labor Day Weekend sale of 20% off that happened to start today so I looked around some more and found:

http://a.imageshack.us/img843/2087/dsc0158b.jpg (http://img843.imageshack.us/i/dsc0158b.jpg/)

Genesis (all loose but in great shape) $3.98 each
Alien Storm
Budokan
Earthworm Jim 2
Ghouls'N Ghosts
Might and Magic Gates to Another World
Phantasy Star II *** UP FOR SALE/TRADE ***
The Revenge of Shinobi
Streets of Rage
Sword of Sodan *** UP FOR SALE/TRADE ***
Sword of Vermillion
Technocop

http://a.imageshack.us/img843/1564/dsc0157v.jpg (http://img843.imageshack.us/i/dsc0157v.jpg/)

Other stuff:
TopGear (SNES) - $3.98
Drakkhan (SNES) - $3.98
Magic Johnsons Fast Break (NES) - loose in a custom box (?) $2.00
NBA 2K (DC) $1.00
NFL Blitz 2000 (DC) $2.00

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (HD-DVD) sealed, new $3.00
Xbox 360 HD-DVD player (no cords) $9.98

Take 20% off all of this stuff and it was about $50 for everything.

***EDIT - Turns out I already had a couple of the Genesis games so they're up for trade. LMK if you're interested!***

That's odd. After seeing ScourDX's Amiga CD32 find (And congrats on that, ScourDX) I was thinking of a MST3k scene where Joel asks the robots if they'd seen his Amiga mouse and Crow says "There's a computer for you" And then I scrolled down and saw your MST3k tape.

Well this isn't something I bought exactly, but I did make it from things I bought...

http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n310/Protogem/VGA-SCART.jpg

I made this VGA-SCART cable this morning. My X-select D4 will transcode 480i component to 15khz RGB just fine, but it only outputs VGA type RGB signals (separate H/V sync signals) and not composite sync. So I wired up the H/V sync combined onto the composite video input pin, which works fine when it's run through a little JROK sync cleaner board in another part of my setup. No more VGA-BNC breakout cables and tons of BNC-RCA adapters, it goes into the SCART switch like everything else.

There's a guy in Phoenix, can't remember his name, but he had a store called "World of Merlancia". Anyway, that dude had several of these NIB sitting in a corner. He was way into Amiga and had all kinds of oddball/hard to find stuff. He was outrageous on his prices, but if you gots to have it check into him...

MTX 10" Subwoofer w/ mid & tweeter speakers in ported box - $20
Technics turntable w/ 15 vinyl records - $10
SparQ drive - $2
SOCOM headset - $1
Old PC World magazines (Should you upgrade to Windows 2000? hah) - $.20 each
Jodeci & Ciara CD's - $1 total
Zelda games - $10 total (overpaid a bit for resale value but I've been wanting to play these ... yup, the only Zelda game I've played was for the NES)
Bugs Atari - $1 (took a chance on this)
Sonic Blast - $3 (spotted this last month, finally managed to clear time to go back and grab it)
Sony cassette adapter - $.25 (bought it for the brand, resells on eBay for ~$5)
Listenup amplifier thing - $1 (If you live in the US, you've probably seen one of the TV commercials before. It was a dollar, I need to find a battery to try this out)
TurboCAD 6 book & software - $0.50 (I do some CAD work as a hobby/freelance, nice to have actual software that I don't have to reinstall every month).

Just over $50, an unusual amount for me to spend. Lots of stuff though, so I can't complain. Extremely hot today, like 90 degrees plus.

Updating,
The Pioneer Laser Disk Player my dad bought at the Flea Market and the found remote for it later at another vendor works great ...
...and the remote works with it..
To my surprise as the remote wasn't found with the disc player..
I figure somewhow these two parts got seperated somewhere and the two seperate vendors bought them.

The A75 Canon camera does look to have a stuck shutter issue or a display issue as the shutter does open yet it looks like the time it opens and closes is off to when you click to take a picture.

I got this 22inch Monitor from my Inlaws..I asked if I could have it as it wasn't turning fully on
They ordered a new one,a bigger one.

.I'm repairing it..(two blown caps)..I looked it up online on how to fix it.

Samsung SyncMaster 225BW-Black - LCD
Not sure what I really am going to do with it afterward..It's really because I like fixing things,I like projects and I didn't want to see it go in the trash..

I don't need it for my computer,I have no clue on how to use -set up two monitors for one computer..

If anything I'd like to sell it and or use it for gaming..
I don't know what could I get for it once fixed.and to ship it list it on ebay ..naaahh

What I'd like to know is how could I use it for gaming(PS3-360)..What do I need to buy(wire) to connect to it as it has
Interfaces input 1 x VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) , 1 x DVI-D - 24 pin digital DVI

and how would I get audio.

This would be for a PS3, I'm assuming a similar process would work for a 360:

Video:

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Gold-DVI-Male-HDMI-Cable-HDTV-LCD-6-FT-2M-/350225638965?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item518b132635

BTW: From my personal experience, the PS3 will not display output to any monitor that doesn't support HDCP. No 100% guarantee on this, it all depends on your monitor.

Audio:

Two choices. If you have a receiver that has optical, you could use one of those cables. Otherwise, connect one of the standard composite cables to the PS3. Connect the audio cables to whatever output source you're going to use. You can then configure the PS3, through Sound Settings, to output audio via composite or optical instead of HDMI.

Not necessarily true. You can use it to log in as a guest account, and create a new one. You can download the complete game once signed in and set up as a paying customer.

Also, I went and checked our original copy of WOW, and it has 5 discs. I can get some pictures of the complete contents if someone needs them for something.

Been poking at this little project for a few days on and off, finally finished it today.

Basically just a "consolized" JROK video sync cleaner/sync combiner. It cost about $5 to make(not inculding the cleaner pcb's cost).

The project box is a random 99 cent sewing thread holder I found at goodwill with an opening top if I need to change the jumper. I cannibalized the barrel connector from a camera's docking station(the camera itself was stolen from us a while back), and it accepts +5v DC from an extra PSP charge cord I have.

It cleans and combines the sync from my X Select D4's output into proper composite sync.

Could this work with other systems? Like, say, a Genesis? :p

Also, I found nothing today. I spent an entire hour waiting to cross over to the US. Wah.

Yes, it would clean and amplify the Genesis's weak c-sync signal perfectly. Most just use the composite video for sync though.

Naa, a couple months ago I guess they released a DeLorean that looked like it was coated in ice, like when Doc Brown sends his dog Einstein one minute in the future near the beginning of the first movie. The Marty figure included with that one was him in his radiation suit from after that scene.

Also the John DeLorean cocaine jokes were never funny, he was acquitted on all charges you know, let the man rest in peace with his dream killed by the big three auto manufacturers and the US government. ;)

Yesterday I got a CIB ex-rental copy of Super Star Wars for $5 from a local pawn. The box is a bit haggard and there's no dust cover, but the cartridge is pristine.

I decided to check out a couple game stores on the other side of Dallas, and hit a bunch of thrifts and Movie Trading Company locations while I was at it. First I went to a place called Game Master in Rowlett, I bought Captain Quazar for the 3DO in not-particularly-good shape for $5.99. A new location of FX Game Exchange has opened up in Plano, and I bought PaTaank and Star Control II for the 3DO (it looks like I'm on a 3DO kick today) with no instructions, for $6.95 each. I also wanted to pick up Tempo for the 32X, but he couldn't find the game, so instead of their Labor Day sale of "buy 2 get 1 free", he let me have a buy one get one free deal instead. Nice guy, and nice new store.

At the Entertainmart store off 75 in Plano I bought Chaos Field ($9.99) and Phantasy Star Online Episode III CARD Revolution ($14.99) for the GameCube. And later at a Movie Trading Company I picked up an Atari 7800 power supply (these stores seem to have these a lot lately, even though they never have the consoles) for $7.99 and a weird joystick for the NES that they mislabeled as being an Atari 2600 joystick. I wish I had a working camera so I could take a picture, I'd love to get more info on it. It was $6.99.

Mario Lunchbox $17 shipped from a fellow forum user
Art of Halo: Free prize from a MS contest
SMS with games: $25 off Kijiji (and he delivered it!)
Needed 7 of the games...all commons, but I'm rebuilding the collection.
My ex took all the SMS domestic games in the split.

Thrift store finds:
Zelda Guide $0.35
Rage of Mages $1.50
NWN Platinum $5
Hackers Soundtracks $3 each (had these fresh on my mind from Kitsune's earlier post)

Checked out a Goodwill yesterday and left the store with a Game Boy Color cart:

Duke Nukem - $1.99

http://i51.tinypic.com/168ey68.jpg

Kind of funny that I found a Duke Nukem game a day after the announcement of an actual release for Duke Nukem Forever.

I also spotted a beat-up River Raid cart (the 2600 version, of course) at this Goodwill - that was marked at $9.99. WTF? And speaking of stupid pricing, the Value Village down the street had a few N64 sports games marked at $6.99 each.

Thank you..

It's amazing how complicated it is and what it's capable of doing..(or rather is set to do already)
It fits in real well with my Dads Pinball Machines....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/Aug%202010%20Album/ROWE006.jpg

I'm all over stuff like this...Especially if it's electric as I've always wanted an electric pocketbike in this size and model type as I have all brand new body parts for it....
But both these items were dead,no chargers...The bike I've seen two three times already there as the guy just can't sell it for his price $60.00..He sits it back in storage for a few months and tries again.
It's falling apart, the control box is hanging, the battery is dead, the voltage gauge is falling out the tank,It needs a lot of work and from looking anything like it up on the net info on it is vague or nonexistent..For a cheap price it would become a project to get going for my So(who has a lot of other kind) but not for $60.00
He wanted the same price for the go kart..I wanted as these two items brought looker after looker asking a price..Once he said the prices people looked at him like WHAT? and walked away..I made him some decent offers but he didn't go for them..
Somethings are better off passed up.

The problem with the Razor ground force karts is that they require a huge turning radius. To completely turn around you're looking at the full width of a residential two lane street, at absolute best. When I had the little armada of electric pocketbikes a few years ago my sisters had one of those and it was pretty much dogbone shaped laps between the cul-de-sac and the intersection at the other end.

I also got Streets Of Rage and Super Smash TV for Mega Drive, at what I think was £2, since I need as many multiplayer games as I can get for my upcoming birthday celebrations :) However I did accidentally end up with 2 fake [as in, the guy had obviously burned the discs himself] Dreamcast games, a DC coverdisk and a DreamKey 1.5. Super Mario Sunshine (Complete) & Intellivision Lives! (PS2, Complete) - $4
Sega Genesis & Saturn Stuff - $5
Donkey Kong Country: Legend of The Crystal Coconut (VHS) - .50

First sale of the day as it advertised video game systems & games. $5 for Final Fantasy VII & a buck each for the guides, offered $5 for all. Super Mario Sunshine was marked $4 & Intellivision Lives! $2 took $4 for both. Asked about the Saturn stuff, wanted $5 for it ended up offered $5 for it with the Genesis stuff thrown in. The VHS tape was marked $2 (!) but they had no problems with my offer of .50.

Winning Post (Saturn, Complete)
Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001 (PS1, Complete) (double case goodness)
Tobal No. 1 (PS1, Disc Only)

$2

GameCube 1st Party Controller - $1.50
Croc 2 & Destruction Derby 2 (PS1, Disc Only) - $1
Game Boy Bundle - $5

The 3 games I got from a sale that I see in town every year, missed it on Friday but stopped by first thing Saturday since it's not far from my place. The games they were asking $2-5 for in previous years depending on what system it was but this year it was the dreck that didn't sell in previous years and what was left of the Saturn, PS1 & PS2 games was all a buck each this year. Actually offered $3 with some other stuff but figured about $2 of it for the games. GC controller was $2 offerd a buck but the lady wanted to play hardball and suggested $1.50. Asked about video games at one sale and the lady mentioned a broken system that she didn't bother bringing out. It was a PS1 with some disc only games, picked out these 2 and offered a buck for them. The Game Boy stuff was actually from one of my first sales, asked about games and was told that they got rid of the "Nintendo" stuff years ago but the lady mentioned that they still had a Game Boy and I said I'd take a look at it if she was interested in getting rid of it. She brought it out and I looked it over. When I brought it back to her she asked if I was interested in it and I offered her $5.

N64 With Everything Needed And 10 Games - $20

Asked about games and this was hidding out in somebody's room. The lady was asking $20 I said I was thinking $10 then when that made her sour I offered to meet in the middle at $15 but she was tough and didn't break so I caved and gave $20 since it still seemed good to me even if haggling wasen't in play.

NES With Everything Needed and 12 Games - $30

This was one of the last sales I went to of the day, asked about games and the guy went and got 1 game to show me what it was then said he had a system and 12 games to which I said I'd be interested and he brought it all down. Some hints that he didn't want to sell it too cheap (he had me make him an offer and said something about it being sold if it's enough or not too low or something like that). Instead of the $5 I usually try and open with I went with $20 and he said he was thinking $40 to which I suggested we meet in the middle on which he did as he was pretty serious about selling it even if he wasen't willing to just get it out of the house for next to nothing. Top row of games is boxed, bottom left 2 boxes are just boxes and the 3 games in the bottom right are complete. The plastic game cases were actually out at the yardsale but when I grabbed them after buying the NES stuff they said I could just have them (I think they were asking .50). The plastic storage deal for the games is nice but unfornately the lid comes off thanks to some broken plastic on the main part.

http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/1521/9510.th.jpg (http://img691.imageshack.us/i/9510.jpg/)

Sword of The Berserk: Guts' Rage - $2
PacMan2 Mini Tabletop Type Game - $1

Bug!
Sega Rally Championship
Shadow Squadron

$4

Dreamcast game from a regular was asking $2. 3 games were marked $2 each I offered $3 for all 3 of them and the guy said he would do $3 for 2 to which I suggested $4 for 3 which he agreed on. The PacMan2 game I actually found at a Sunday yardsale on the way home no price when asked had to check with somebody else and they wanted a buck for it.

But as I told him, those karts would never make a turn down there it would be a waste,it would be a waste outback as there isn't enough room to turn and the pavements all messed up..the streeet is too rough too..I'd need to take him to a lot and they are far and between..

Yeah, we bought a bunch of the Razor PR200's from WalMart for like $80.00 a pop, brand new in the boxes a few years ago. I guess they had put a pallet of them (and the ground force karts) up in the garden area when they ran out of storage during the holidays, found them, then brought them out once they had been clearanced out. Stock they were decent for an electric, tons better than the yellow "Honda" licensed electric pocketbike the auto parts stores were selling around the same time. For my sisters, kids or a smaller build person you could get zipping around damn fast. For my height and most adults you could still do well once you got moving, with a little power to spare. However teflon lubrication on the wheels and a couple power boosting tricks gave increased performance. I could get to the point where I had about 40 minutes runtime on a charge, equivalent to the kids on a stock bike racing the throttle up and down the entire time. That's what it really came down to, monitoring your throttle input, looking for downward slopes, keeping the momentum smooth.

Used to make my weekend yard sale rounds in the area on it. Dunno how many people would ask at each yard sale if it was for sale. LOL We did end up selling them all off when I moved a few years ago. I think my hopped up one went to the neighbor before he moved if I remember correctly. LOL While you'd never match the speed of a gas pocketbike, the whisper quite operation made riding around public streets problem free.

FYI, I think the karts had a weight rating of like 110 lbs. or something really low like that, however it had no trouble carrying adults of twice that weight stock out of the box, although we didn't stress it a ton since it was a little cramped for a taller person.

Razorama (http://www.razorama.com/) still sells all the parts if you need chargers, batteries, etc.

In all honesty I have had a plethora of cheap and wonderful finds over the past several months, but school has kept me occupied and too busy to post. I am trying to remedy that here...

Flea Market finds for Sunday Sept 5, 2010

Space Invader hand held arcade game by Entex $1

*STORY*
Now, I don't normally go after these things but I saw the SPACE INVADER box sitting among a bunch of junk a guy had. Those who frequent Flea Markets know the type; tons of boxes all lined up with the most OLD random crap in the world...so he either is cleaning out his hoarding or he goes to auctions and buys the leftovers. ANYHOW, I saw the box...no system inside, so I dig deeper...JACKPOT, system with no back :(

So I ask the guy (knowing full well I would be shot down) "do you know where the back to this game is?" and he goes "OH I think it is in a box over there" and goes to a random box 10ft away and pulls out the back of the system AND he goes "here this Styrofoam goes with it too" WTF!!

So ok...Now I have the box, the system with back and 1out of 2 Styrofoam inserts...So I need the instructions and the other insert...

So I look and look NOTHING! About to leave I see a guy flipping through a huge lot of picture frames and sitting there between the frames is THE FRICKIN STYROFOAM INSERT! I was like "Hey buddy can you hand me that Styrofoam *he looks at me like I am nuts and hands it over*"

So I walked away only missing the instructions...

BUT WAIT! There is more! I am doing my second pass through to leave this HUGE Flea Market and the guy who I bought the system from sees me and yells "HEY I FOUND THE INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU WANT THEM!" WTF!!! Slowly but surely a complete set. Sorry for the long winded story...just thought it was cool. Not sure if the thing is worth more than the $1 I paid.

MOVING ON...

I think it is just collecting, as far as Playstation goes. I have a fair bit of games, but only a select few get played. I never (regardless of the game) pay more than a buck or two for the games, so I figure if I ever chose to sell them all people will gladly pay $1 a game regardless of the title.

I will just continue to play my Sega, SNES and NES collection :)

I actually found this out by mistake by google after I came home with it. Hit the Movie Trading Company Buy 2 Get 1 free sale today. Was going there specifically for the Codename: Kids Next Door videogame because my sons have recently gotten TOTALLy into that show. Ended up with some nice stuff:

Codename: Kids Next Door (Xbox) FREE
Curse: The Eye of Isis (Xbox) $9.99
Doom 3 Limited Edition version (Xbox) $14.99
Call of Duty (xbox) FREE
Call of Duty 2 Collectors Edition (xbox) $14.99
Rainbow Six 3 (Xbox) $7.99

The Rainbow Six 3 was marked used and is the thick box version with the game and headset inside. I got it home, took off the store shrinkwrap to find all the seals still intact on the box. I peeled off the bottom one and inside is a sealed R63 game disc and a sealed headset! This was marked used but was brand new. NOt bad for $7.99.

***EDIT*** Just put these in my database and these 6 additions put me at 503 Xbox games!! By far my most collected system! I think I need to go for the complete US set!

Lot sale again...

A few small things, a Nikon Coolpix 800 2 MP camera with a 16 MB compact flash card inside, and an Olympus (can't remember model) 1.3 MP camera for $2 a piece. The Nikon is only worth like $15 (It works!) and the Olympus is broken LOL

a CD with a collection of English folk songs, Northumberland Rant: Traditional Music from the Edge of England (http://www.amazon.com/Northumberland-Rant-Traditional-Music-England/dp/B00000K53R/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1283876481&sr=1-19) for $0.50 that might be useful for sampling... dunno how that would work.

The best thing: a HP 32SII scientific calculator, found in the bottom of a box of junky electronics, that was like $1... broken it's $25 and working it's $80-125 O_O.

I bought a Sony SS-870(W) 2-way single speaker from a set and a Sony SS-870(S) single subwoofer, the latter of which has a 16" subwoofer in it! Holy crap! The only thing that gets me is that there was only one sub to be found, but for 2-way speaker there was a match. A hispanic guy grabbed it and I walked over to him, told him that if he didn't want it I'd take it because I have the match. He looked at me then bought it out of spite, just because I wanted it! (Argh!) I know the guy, he sets up out at the flea market, I'll go on Sunday and see if he has it although he's probably going to have a ridiculous price on it. I just really wanted the 2-ways for use, they're "Kabuki" speakers from the 70s. Each of the 2-way speaker has 2 horn style speakers and 2 tweeters in them, as well as a crossover built-in. Btw, the 16" woofer speaker is a heavy one, weighs like 20 pounds LOL. The 2 single speakers I got were $4 a piece (/me crosses his fingers in hopes of getting the match)

Also, a pair of battered Realistic Minimus-7 speakers, $2 a piece. These are pretty decent speakers, quality-wise. In good shape they'd be $20-40. I'm hoping they work so I can take out the drivers and sell them.

The guy had just played it to explaining to me how much he likes Wonder Boy.
It's to go up for sale on ebay as I already have the Huge box for it..just need to take box dimensions and get a weight.

I should of asked the lady if she had more stuff to go with this..but I didn't see anything else of the sort in her stuff.
..................
..I found misc parts that go to a NES all here and there at one garage sale..The lady said she was trying to find the box for that stuff to come back later..but I had I time to do so..

Then we went to a huge Street Fair that had numberous vendors with game items..But the prices they had were high for anything.I passed up a Nintendo Action Set in the box for $45.00 FIRM....I have several sets.i can't sell them for that much so I don't even bother buying them....

The demented laugh in particular was because of the controllers. The used gamestop bag had it under Other PS2 Controller SKU for $7.99. I knew they were only 99 cents, having previously bought one. So had employee do a lookup verify, now have eight player capability for Mega Quiz. No, its not Pacman VS but a good drunk fest game to coax in non-gamer friends and family.

Now to get PAL Millionaire game somehow, and convert to NTSC.
Too bad the You Don't Know Jacks aren't coded for these.

A thought. Maybe post where you bought your deal, others can maybe get the same?

Some people do, but most don't want to give away their favorite thrift stores. Which is understandable. I used to rave about a place called Thrift Town in Arlington, TX and told a few other local collectors about it. Now I rarely go in, because I never find anything there since everyone else scoops up anything and everything game related and puts it up on eBay. So now I keep my thrift locations to myself.
