Been a long time since I've posted in a finds thread. The video game hobby's been taking a major back seat for the past year due to waning interest, but I had the urge to go hunting today. My regional flea market has been pretty sparse with finds for the past two years so I went in not expecting much. For the most part that was the case, but fairly early in the morning, probably the 8th or 9th booth I visited, had this old Nike shoe box sitting out with a bunch of games in it.

http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/yy211/Jasonb1983/Finds/P7010036.jpg

There were quite a few good games in there, although I had most of them already, so I just grabbed a couple and inquired to the vendor what the price was. She asked if I was willing to take the whole box, to which I replied sure in a calm, disinterested manner. She said I could have it all for $10. No need to haggle there. I paused for a second then unenthusiastically said okay (can't get excited in public and make a vendor rethink their offer) and that was that. Unfortunately the games were pretty dirty, so it took about an hour and a half to clean them up, but they look great now.

Super Mario RPG, the one game I wanted most had some (minor) label damage of course. I wound up throwing out Colonial Wars since it was disc 1 only and missing half its case.

Believe it or not, I got all this at Gamestop! for $25!

Well from a person on line at Gamestop actually. I went there to splurge a little on their buy 2 get 1 free sale. I saw this older couple coming in with a big bag of games so I decided to get on line (knowing how slow the cashiers go when trading in games) but the wife already got the spot. I was on line when i heard the clerk say "Sorry we don't take PS1 games, you could put these on Craigslist or somethin'." So i just strolled on over and asked him if he was willing to sell them. Obviously I knew he was going to say yes because you're coming to Gamestop with these games, just wanted to play around a bit though. I offered 20, he took 25.

End of Story. You can't show emotions though, that was the hardest part. I was going crazy on the inside but you have to act like a buisnessman on the out.

Got a coupon off of Cheap Ass Gamer for Toys R Us' 4th of July Sale on $19.99 games where it's Buy 1, Get 1 75% off. I went to two different locations and picked up...

Aliens: Infestation (DS)
Tetris: Axis (3DS)
Rayman Origins (Wii)
Sonic and the Black Knight (Wii)

I would have snagged some more but they had Mega Bloks marked Buy 1 Get 1 50% off and $10 off purchases of $50 or more. I literally cleared the shelf of all Smurf and Hello Kitty sets at one store. Now the girls will be in building brick heaven come Christmas. :ass:

For the bad rap GameStop gets, you have to love their stores sometimes.

I've got many good deals in a similar way before. Just have to be there at the right time.

FLEA MARKET

Saturday I did not get to go picking..A friends did and didn’t come up with much..
I wound up going to the Willow brook mall in the afternoon to eat.(before the dinner crowd hits)..on the way it was bulk trash day in my town and we passed up a lot of junk that I may have stopped and picked up..one thing that was gone in minutes was an old 50s Table set and chairs.looked right out of a restaurant..
I passed by a VCR ,DVD combo with remote just sitting neatly on the curb..came back hours after the mall and it was still there so I grabbed it..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/2012%20PICTURE%20ALBUM/th_JOHNSBIRTHDAY2012231.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/2012%20PICTURE%20ALBUM/JOHNSBIRTHDAY2012231.jpg)

Today...after playing video game to late last night, I set out late to a local flea market,,I was surprised at hew early they were packing up..it seems the heat just made it a horrible day for the vendors as I stood there for 2 hours and the selling was slim.
I was getting stopped and asked if I’d like to buy this and that, only lady asked me on a price for used-beat up a cigarette lighter auto tire pump..I said $10.00 and she looed at me like she wanted $50.00 crazy vendors

....A NES game vendor I hung out with made some misc NES game sales,I was cool to see people come up and find a NES game and reminisce about it
Also vendor I know put together a bag of old arcade Tokens for me from all over the place as I collect Arcade tokens.(sad as the places are closed now)

The first thing I picked up today was this Game & Watch Donkey Kong..It was priced $15.00 next to a $35.00 Gameboy Advance.... I haggled to $10.00)
It works..after I put fresh batteries in it and it has the battery cover,it’s missing the clip to keep it closed....I am not sure of the value on it,but I sure wasn’t passing it up for $10.00,I’ll be listing it on ebay soon..I have a lot of small rare handheld games that I need to find the time to put on ebay..

Not a true "find" but my grandparents bought a new television today. I'm getting their current TV this weekend. Vintage Sony Trinitron. I think it's 32 or 37 inches. Real high end model from back in the early 90's if I'm remembering correctly. Think it even has S-Video and component outputs. Heavy too; I remember helping them set it up and it's well over 50 pounds.

My uncle's job was throwing it out several years ago and he gave it to them. Unfortunately, it's going in the basement until I move to a new house; I'm not carrying that television up a flight of stairs.

Yes. Those should be LodgeNet OnCommand system PS1 controllers. No idea of what they're worth though, but someone posted about one of these on www.PlayStationCollecting.com recently.

I think I still have one of those somewhere around the house. Only difference is it's the analog controller.

Edit: I did acquire a good find recently.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261048556220

Paid $82 (under half of what others have went for) and I've already replaced the prong. Probably going to resell it. I've wanted one for a long time but came to the decision that I don't want to use a ~20 year-old power strip (a $80 one at that) regularly, which defeats the purpose of me having it. Of course, I didn't think about that until after it arrived at my house. Impulse buying gets you every time. I guess I could use it and in the event it breaks I could retrofit it with modern parts. Just seems wrong to do that though. Could also get it framed I guess.

I've been wanting one of these ever since I saw it in a Genesis advertisement brochure. Looked damn cool but I forgot to calculate that these things are as old as I am.

Soul Calibur V(360) $10
Various Mario card packs 50 cents each
Deus Ex(360) $12.50
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing(360) $12.50
Sailor Moon Lunar plushie $3.50
Resident Evil: Afterlife bluray $3.93
Resident Evil Code: Veronica book 66 cents
Video Game Master Surefire Strategies book 66 cents

I got Soul Calibur with the latest coupon from Best Buy's magazine. And Deus Ex and the Sonic game were also bought with a coupon for Toys R Us where you buy one $19.99 game and get the second one for 75% off(so $20 and $5 or $12.50 each). I wish I would have found out about that deal sooner because my local Toys R Us sucks with their game selection. I got two good games but I could have gotten even more stuff if I would have known early enough to travel to a few other locations.

The Lunar plushie was the first Sailor Moon thingie I have ever purchased and I found it at Goodwill. Truth be told I couldn't tell you the difference between Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus or Sailor Your Anus but people seem to go nuts over them so I shouldn't have a difficult time finding this guy a home....atleast I think it's a guy. He's suppose to purr or something but his batteries must have died long ago so I need to find me a tiny screwdriver to open that pack up. Coincidentally I saw but passed on two Sailor Moon vhs tapes at a yardsale this weekend(I'll have pics from that later). I probably should have picked them up but I have had a pretty tough time moving vhs tapes, even obscure and semi-rare ones.

The Mario cards were from Goodwill and the Resident Evil stuff and other book were from a thrift store. How many of these damn RE books are there? I though I had all of them with books number 0-3 but this one is numbered 6. That just means my book backlog keeps getting bigger and bigger.

It's a girl, the name is Luna and it has girlish eyelashes. The white cat in the show is a guy. At least I think so from what I can remember of the show in the 90's when I was like 5 years old.

The VHS tapes aren't worth that much, the uncut DVDs are worth something. You did good on passing on those tapes, they don't really sell well.

Yes Luna is a girl (made VERY obvious in one of the movies btw http://myanimeshelf.com/upload/dynamic/2010-11/01/sailormoon2022.jpg the girl is Luna at the end of the Sailor Moon S movie) The white cat is Artemis (a guy), the little grey one is Diana (girl)
In my experience The 2 ADV subbed DVD boxes are each a few hundred, as are complete Geneon/Pioneer sets of the main series though they had large print runs unlike the ADV releases, the movies aren't that much nor are many non-dvd releases, though the Japanese only specials and season 5 laserdiscs may be a bit more.

Kaliman in the sinister world of Humanon - 10 Mexican Pesos (at the flea market that sets up near my home every Wednesday)
Tecmo Bowl NES - $1
Warcraft II Battle.net - $1
Two random Sony VHS remotes - $1 each (remember that bigass VHS deck I bought? These remotes kinda have the same dial controls so I hope one will work with it.)

Not pictured: Three Sony Playstation SCPH-1001 consoles. At a buck each. Untested, but a dollar? Good trade / parts fodder I'd say. I was concerned that the Mexican Customs agent at the border crossing would try to charge me import taxes... BUT THE GUY WAS ASLEEP. I just walked past him.

Edit: Happy to report that BOTH remotes work with my VCR, and that all three PS1 consoles work perfectly. Hell one of them had a Soviet Strike disc inside! I might just keep two, one to keep unmodded and one to mod.

Oddly enough, this was free. Came from a friend of my sister. I tried to convince him to take something, but he insisted that I have it. With games like Snow Brothers and others on the way.
It should feel awesome, but it kind of leaves a hollow feeling knowing I just accepted an item this valuable for free (even showed him the price on eBay).
I'll convince him to accept some compensation for anything else he is willing to let go of.

The following were from a yardsale last week. I also went back down there during the middle of this week to get some more stuff but I'll get to that in a bit:

http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr306/THE-1-2-P/GEDC1541.jpg

Harvest Moon: It's a Wonderful Life Special edition(PS2) $2
La Pucelle Tactics(PS2) $2
Growlanser Generations(PS2) $2
Xenosaga(PS2) $2
Obscure: The Aftermath(PS2) $2
Castlevania: Curse Of Darkness(PS2) $2
Silent Hill 4: The Room(PS2) $2
Resident Evil: Outbreak(PS2) $2
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X(PS2) $2
Clock Tower 3(PS2) $2
Life Line(PS2) $2
Mister Mosquito(PS2) $2
Ninja Assault(PS2) $2
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind(Xbox) $2
Tekken Hybrid(PS3) $10

So this yardsale was advertised as someone getting rid of alot of his stuff because he has a baby on the way. He ended up having a ton of gaming stuff, comics, anime, toys/figures, electronics, etc. But he didn't properly list it to it's full potential and thus there weren't many people down there. I was the first person and as such I got the majority of the good stuff. He told me he was basically just trying to make space for his upcoming new addition and because of this he had lots of dirt cheap prices. Now onto the games...

As you can see all the games were $2 each with the exception of Tekken Hybrid, which he wanted $10 for and I agreed(I talked him down on a few things though). I had been waiting for that game to go down at retail so I could pick it up so getting it for this price was a good find for me. The rest of the games are a mix of stuff I already have and stuff that I thought was worth grabbing. I actually passed on alot of other PS2, Wii, PS3, Xbox and 360 games but I still managed quite the haul. I tried to pick up any rpgs I could find since those things are like cashing in bonds. I've always wanted to grab Mister Mosquisto despite seeing it in Toys R Us clearance bins forever and still not picking it up so I finally got to redeem myself for that. The rest I'm just trying to decide rather to sell alone or in lots.

http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr306/THE-1-2-P/GEDC1543.jpg

Trigun Ultimate Fan Guide book $2
Divergence Eve anime dvd $2
Mini Castlevania character(I think this is Simon but I'm not sure) $2
Castlevania Simon large figure $3
Nintendo DS system $10
Metroid Fusion(GBA) $1
Gunstar Heroes(GBA) $1
Cammy Figure $3
Windows Professional XP(sealed) $3
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Master Sword & Hylian Shield Replica $1

Where do I start? Even though the Windows software is sealed I don't think I can sell it on ebay because it says it's suppose to be distributed with a new PC. So at worse I'm out of $3. He had alot of video game and anime figures/toys, many of them sealed. The problem of course is that I don't have an infinite amount of room so I had to pick and choose. The Castlevania and Cammy figures are all sealed but I also picked up some loose ones that you'll see in a bit. I was surprised he only wanted $1 for that Zelda replica but as I said earlier he was much more interested in clearing out space for his upcoming baby as opposed to trying to make top dollar. I grabbed the Trigun book because I love that series but I passed on a few other anime and comic books he had. He also had two Sailor Moon vhs tapes but as I noted in my previous post I passed on them because it's pretty difficult to move vhs tapes these days.

He had one loose DS game but wanted $5 for it so I passed on that and grabbed the two loose GBA games for $1 each. And yes, that is my first DS system. Woot! It's about damn time considering I have enough games for it that I've acquired over the last 5 years. And now I finally have every current gen system which can only mean one thing: I CAN FINALLY RULE THE WORLD!! What? What do you mean Nintendo and Sony both have new handheld systems?

http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr306/THE-1-2-P/GEDC1583.jpg

Trigun keychain $2
Chrono Cross clock $1
Splinter Cell: Conviction novel 50 cents
Cassandra and three other random figures $2 each
Splatterhouse display/statue $3

To start, that Splinter Cell book was actually from Goodwill. I thought I had a book directly for that game but after looking it has a different title but the same cover art as the game does. So now I have five Splinter Cell books, five Resident Evil books and four Gears of War books that I need to read. Theres simply not enough time in the day:(

Like the Zelda merchandise he only wanted $1 for the Chrono Cross clock. It still winds up but I haven't changed the battery to see if it works yet. I kind of wish he had more of those Namco figures and that they were sealed since they all come with various accessories like weapons. He let me keep those two backer cards for free and I'm not sure which series those three random figures are from but they will add some diversity to my game shelfs. As for the Splatterhouse statue, it's the kind of display you would put on your mantle in a low budget movie and then use as a weapon to bludgeon someone to death. Ok it's not super heavy but you could do some series work with it. If only it didn't come from such a shitty ass game I might even keep it.

http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr306/THE-1-2-P/GEDC1533.jpg

Welcome To The NHK anime dvd set
Street Fighter IV: Collectors edition(PS3)
Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind bluray
Devil May Cry mini figure
Book of Shadows hardback
Cole Macgrath statue
Three random figures and Ryu
Bag of Magfest swag

So the day after the yardsale I emailed the guy and asked if he still had a few things that I wanted the first time but didn't have enough for. And with the exception of a limited edition 360 game he had everything I wanted. He told me after the yardsale he took the remaining PS2 and 360 games to Gamestop. I told him I'd give him $20 for all the stuff I wanted and he accepted and even threw in the SFIV game and Ryu figure. He even asked if there was anything else I wanted him to throw in because he desperately wanted to get rid of it all. I ended up paying him $25 instead of $20 since he was kind enough to make time for me to stop by again after we both got off work a few days after the yardsale. He was actually a pretty cool guy. When I first saw the Magfest bag at the yardsale I told him I was at the first one and he told me that he was there too, somewhere far away. But we now know that the far away place is called Silent Hill, although I think the locals call it Roanoke Virginia.

Anyway, he had a ton of anime but my anime dvd, movie dvd, series seasons dvd backlog is just as bad as my book/novel backlog so I didn't go crazy despite the good prices. I've always wanted to try out NHK and since he had a bunch of them I went for that. I was going to get the SFIV bluray the first time I was there but let it go for some reason. But after seeing that it was only available with the limited edition of the PS3 version of the game I decided to get it. The DMC, Infamous and other figures wil probably be added to my game shelfs.

And he had so much other stuff that I passed on, like larger figures and limited special editions of Halo Reach, Batman: Arkham Asylum and City, among other. But I had my space issues to contend with. If I had a bigger house I probably would have gotten atleast 70% of what he was selling. As usual the majority of this stuff is for sale via cash offers but I'm still not taking trades for anything.

@The 1 2 P - You can sell that Windows but the OEM policy changed a year or two ago. Back in the day, you could sell them with a random memory module included. Nowadays I think you have to include a hard drive or the entire PC.

Even then, I don't think they're bringing more than $20-25 sealed now. Windows 7 has decreased the demand for XP. I have a box with 20-30 Dell ones that I keep around for repairs/cheap PC flips. I can get a good 75-100 for a Windows XP laptop with decent specs.

The change wouldn't affect the existing ones, only ones made after the change, however I wouldn't count on Ebay to understand that.

Yup, it should have some additional cooling heat sinks on the CPU and the GPU as well as a different identification on the sticker on the bottom, I think it's KS for "kiosk" if I'm remember correctly.

No it isn't, but it has a lot in common with the one here: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?29716-An-odd-dreamcast&highlight=modem
the main difference is mine has a July 1999 date code and is a REV1 (I actually have a REV0 from August 1999)

I've done that before too.

Edit: When I bought the Dreamcast I was specifically looking for unusual units such as the REV0 units with the heat pipes and kiosk units, the oddball was the only one worth writing home about, though there were a few REV0 and REV2 units that were trashed so I passed on them.

Picked this up at my local pawn shop today. I've been stopping by consistently for over a year, so I've gotten to know the owner very well.
He is like the old man straight out of Pawn Stars, but he doesn't do any price research on games.
Typically, he just counts the number of games and gives me a number off the top of his head.
If I only paid $30 for this, imagine how little the people who brought them in got.

Mario Kart: Double Dash
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
Pokemon Battle Revolution
Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland
Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland
Ar Tonelico Qoga
& Jak X: Combat Racing (just because)

-----

These next two came from my trip to the local flea market today:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/9121/img0581bu.jpg

These two Pokemon games were $5 each.
Oddly enough, I think even GameStop pays more for them than that.

http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/9687/img0583za.jpg

The Nintendo DSi was $5. The guy obviously had no idea what it was or how it worked.
He had tried to jam some random plastic object into the stylus areas.
There was also a SD card jammed into the cartridge slot.

This probably damaged the slot, as it won't recognize any games.
So I'll be taking it apart to have a look at it in my spare time.

-----

As for Yard Sale stuff, I picked up some goodies for about $20 total:

Golden Sun (CIB)
Golden Sun: The Lost Age (CIB)
Q*Bert (for Gameboy; CIB)
Tetris (for Gameboy; CIB)
Tetris Attack (for Gameboy; CIB)
Pokemon Sapphire
Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland
GameShark (for GBA; Working)
GameShark (for GB/C; Working)
Nintendo Power Magazines (about 30; Gamecube era)

Anyone know why the GameSharks are so valuable now? The GBA version seems to go for about $60 online.
To my recollection, these were extremely plentiful back in the day. Perhaps it is because they break so easily.

Back in 1999, Sega partnered up with Hollywood video to make the Dreamcast available for rent in North America 2 months before its release.
This is also where the Limited Edition version of Sonic Adventure comes from. Perhaps you have one of the original rental units?

Sonic Adventure LE has online mode disabled because it wasn't available yet.
Perhaps that is why the modem has a terminator block on it; to prevent people from attempting to access online features.

Data mining as well. A GameShark/ActionReplay is a decent poor mans data mining tool.

There was a push a handful of years ago on GFAQs to generate patch code lists and copied save files for games that didn't already have them. There were long topics about where to get cheap tools for the job.

I went early..it was so hot that vendors were packing up early...low vendor and customer attendance due to the heat,.
.........so low for the first time I had up close parking..

Not that I Didn’t find lots of stuff, lots of XBOX,PS,and NES games(three Atari 5200 games) but expensive..desperate vendors with high prices..Wanting to make a deal but still the price not worthwhile.
Though today said to be the hottest day it didn’t bother me,,I dug deep through boxes bins,I spent a long time looking for stuff and just nothing good to buy..

My first find was a box of 35 loose Atari 2600 games(some no label)..all commons..I tried to haggle price as they were $2.00 each and the guy was leaving..the vendor went to $1.00 each if I bought them all..
I was NOT willing to spend $37.00 on 37 banged up loose common Atari games so I bought the only unusual game KARATE for $2.00

One of the most unusual things I saw was a guy selling very old Video Game magazines,in the Sega CD era..(he had boxes filled with them)

Pokemon DS box $1.00 NO GAME..
Portable CD player $1.00 to test StarPath Super Charger that I have on ebay..

KARATE for $2.00

EMac MAX OS X Install software..I don’t know if it’s worth anything but for $1.00 I could not pass it up ..

Now if you know me I LOVE Small Motorcycles..

This caught my eye but it was $800.00

Decent weekend. Went to visit my grandparents and install two flat screens they purchased earlier in the week. My grandfather is upset because the black lines (16:9 aspect ratio) are showing up on some of his channels. LOL

Failed to have him understand why that happens so his new TV is on the overzoom setting and he's happy so I'm happy. Looks like crap but that's okay because he likes it.

I couldn't get their old TV (Sony Trinitron KV-32XBR26) because it wouldn't fit in my car. Will pick it up in a month or so when I have the chance; plan on using it in my game room. Ventured out a couple of places and found some decent loot:

- Game Boy Micro w/ Official Charger - $25
- Broken Xbox 360 w/ power brick & hard drive - $20
- Vintage Radio Shack Garry Kasparov chess game - $5
- 3M Filtrete (water filter) station - $5 (looks new, includes the bottles which sell for a nice chunk of change by themselves)
- Vintage Wear-Ever Popcorn Popper - $6
- Duke Nukem PS3 x 2 - $3
- Duke Nukem PC - $4.99
- Gran Turismo 5 - $15

I love buying old appliance crap. I find that I use it for a short while and eventually sell it, usually for more than what I paid. An old 70s popcorn machine? Couldn't pass on that for $6. Popcorn Pumper sounds dirty too and my immaturity loves that. I know I can easily double my money on the GB Micro. Weird thing was I bought this from a reseller wanting eBay prices for dirty NES carts. I'm guessing her pink GBA SP was the same price. Broken 360 is missing the disc drive but powers up. Probably going to sell the system as-is, take the brick to GameStop (too heavy to ship), and I need to test the HD to see if it works. The 3M Filtrete was one of those weird things I felt compelled to search on my phone before picking it up. DKPS3 games were on clearance at Target and I bought their remaining two copies. The PC copy was on clearance at GameStop and was paid for with trade-in credit. As I was leaving GS, some guy came in with a few PS3 games and I spotted GT5. He felt he could get 10-12 TIV but I offered him $15 because I've been wanting to play it for a while. Helped him out and helped me out. Had some crappy 5-10$ PS3 games I've already played so I didn't bother buying those. Unfortunately, this guy came in with 15-20 Xbox 360 games and I didn't notice him until he was already at the counter. Know what he wanted? The damn Ghost Recon game. I was peeping at the games coming in and he probably had $120-150 worth of titles. Would have gladly gave him the damn $60 to buy Ghost Recon.

The english voice acting in Tales of Destiny II (Eternia) is much worse than I remember it though, haha.

Make no mistake though, I paid a hefty penny for them. The pawn shop thoroughly researches prices.
It was still well below the eBay price though, so I'm still satisfied with them.

EDIT: Oh, and I fixed up the DSi from yesterday. The SD card jammed into the cartridge slot did indeed bend the contacts.
Some surgery later and it is now a fully working unit.

Found this the same day as the Dreamcast and Gamecube stuff. Wasted $15 5416 Both Game Gears are dead, as is the AC adapter, the Power Pack works (A Miracle) the rest is trash.

Today:
Normally I don't even touch Atari 2600 stuff, but this one was at a good price ($40) and had mostly boxed games.
54135414
Someone who usually buys my extras wanted some controllers, so ($50):
5415
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was $5

Nice snag on the boxed Frankenstein for the 2600. That alone is almost worth what you paid for the entire 2600 lot

Yes I know, as would have Fun with Numbers if the cart and manual weren't the more common Basic Math version.

You won't be able to move those Famicom adapters on eBay now. I can't see what the other two PSOne devices are to the right of the GameShark one, but if either are goldfingers or anything like that, those are banned now as well.

Technically this isn't a new thing on ebay, honeybees and that type of stuff have been banned for some time. They just seem to be stepping up enforcement of the issue. But I had a SNES/SFC adapter removed for violation of that policy well over 3 or 4 years ago but yet I see them for sale all the time and they slip through so just like anything else on there that's banned I guess it depends on how much they're monitoring it?

Generally, it's less 'them watching' and more 'how many jackasses happen to report it'.

You can still move those adaptors here on the forums though.

I'd like to take one of those Gamesharks to use it on one of those Playstations I bought last week. ;)

Ebay doesn't even like when you put "import convertor" in your auctions. I've had listings removed over the years for that alone. Sometimes you can get away with it depending on the wording. Other times, you have to just not mention that part at all, which is what I do when I sell Dreamcast Gameshark lite disc. They also function as really good import convertors to play Japanese games with but I always leave that part out now.

I am actually messing with this stuff right now..I need to get this stuff Sold, either on ebay or here..

Honestly I don’t have much luck selling things on this site...

Someone PMed me interested in the HONEYBEE Converter but it’s top pins are loose so the games are glitching..
The White Converter, the pins are super tight and it works perfectly..(no response for the inquirer)

I don’t know anything about these Playstation Game shark/ Game enhancers.

I only have Playstations with the dual ports in the back,AV and Serial Port(Not the older RCA jack input versions)

I read an Ebay auction that stated that Playstation Game sharks don’t work on some Playstation systems..

I did Not know how to TEST the Playstation Game shark,Then I held the RESET on the System and START on the controller and the game shark came up.
..I gotta get this stuff sold, what can go on ebays going to go on ebay tomorrow..

If you want something Make me an offer..

The Playstation Game Enhancers.the both come right up and work..

These should work on most systems, it's just the later systems that got rid of the port that these plug into. The systems that aren't compatible with these are the ones missing the port. It's like the Gamecube systems with the component cable, the later systems aren't compatible as they're missing the output. You shouldn't need the RCA systems to use these, though they would also be compatible with them.

The Gamesharks should boot up as soon as you power on the systems with a game inside. You can use them to play backups if you have a spring for the lid sensor, you can swap out the game once the menu comes up. You can use them to explore game data and manage memory cards too, I never really cared about using any of those features though.

I don't really think these are worth that much, I see these quite often for around $5 or less even in game stores.
