Oh I don't blame you, thread isn't really the place to debate it either I suppose. I hadn't gone to the NG forums, didn't even cross my mind, just dug into the original snitch thread and the responses in there. Either way it's a good package regardless if someone feels the need to get all personal about it or not which is a shame. It's not like this was the NeoGeoX which jacked various emulators without permission then in turn got iced by SNK Playmore over it. It's just an amazing package considering every game is oddly stand alone with not one requiring Steam as much as things go these days.

I liked it too, mostly. It gets to a grinding hell mess once you get off of cocoon since the linearity drops out, but otherwise good game and so was 13-2. I think it was just bitter old Final Fantasy players looking for something to bitch about since it was not a totally open world game, then rolled it over into just hating on the sequels just because. There's far worse out there big time than FF13.

I have recently been making my way through "The Guide to Classic Graphic Adventures" and decided to pass on this Sierra bundle. Quest for Glory is pretty good, but the others...the authors of this big tome on all these adventure games make it clear that so many of the design decisions on these old Sierra titles just don't hold up that well in the modern era. I'd buy this bundle, but I'd never play any of them - and I already have the full Quest for Glory collection. There are a lot of games competing for limited playtime these days, and the Sierra ones...I just can't spend that time on them.
