Seriously, I am in Pittsburgh visiting friends, and stopped in to the Carnegie Post Office with 3 packages, each still needing to be taped up. My local P.O. routinely whips out the Priority Mail tape for me with a smile. The guy at the counter here gave me an unbelievable amount of grief and hassle as he proceeded to tape up my packages very, very slowly. And he must have used a quarter-of-a-roll of tape on each box, wrapping the tape completely around each box 3 or 4 times.

AND he gave me so much flack over having to tape the boxes, rather than having him verify a zip code I was unsure of, I guessed for the zip on one of the packages. WRONG, as I found out later. Hopefully being one digit off xxxx2 instead of xxxx3 won't be a deal-killer.

Oh well.

Obviously, I can't do a single thing about it if you decide you're going to open your present before Christmas. It'd be fun if everyone waited, but it's not a big deal. However, keep in mind that if you DO open it before Christmas, you still have to wait to post about it, and there's no bending on that rule. No early thank you messages to your Santa, no saying what you got, or who you got. So, unwrap it if you want, but keep your lip zipped, because I'll be watching ;) Just like Santa.

Unfortunatly alot of the stuff the person I had wanted was hard to get, so I had to do a post look up to see what else they had. SO I hope they like it!

I was forced to do the same, since I didn't get a specific want list just lists of what this person already had which quite sizable. Hope they like it.

Well hopefully I did everything as directed. I boxed mine up and shipped it priority yesterday(Friday), and There is no reason whatsoever for it to take any more than 3 days as it's not going far.

Haven't received my package yet, but if my SS is reading this......if you had any problems with getting me something or saw some posts where I may have bought something. If I bought what you bought me, It's all my fault and they shouldn't feel bad. This could only be the case in a couple of ways.......but it's still possible. I left my list wide open......

You know what, tho? It isn't that big of a deal, really. I hate to see people sweat it so much when it's meant to be something fun. Maybe you'll get something you didn't have before, but there's probably an equally good chance you'll get something you already have. It's not meant to cause headaches and grief and bad feelings. Relax, and have some eggnog :)
