User :- *pgs*
Crime :- Misleading discription of item and Unfair leaving of complaint.
Just to set the records on this so called complaint.
The item as listed in the image (http://www.halfdragon.de/zerowing/ebay/auct001.jpg) does not anywhere mention that there was damage to the case that the item arrived in. In fact the hinge on it was smashed beyond repair as the missing parts in the clear upper part and the actual blue disc tray were missing from the package when it arrived the package itself was completely sealed so it had clearly been that way when it was mailed. The Photo on the auction also shows a mint condition case which is surly misleading.
I left a neutral feedback message stating the item was not as described as this fact had not been mentioned on the auction. If it had been I'd have not left that feedback it's just I like to know what I'm buying before it arrives. Even though I bought three items and left positive feedback on the other two items, the seller only left the one feedback and had the nerve to complain that I'd left a neutral and they never even bothered to leave feedback for the other two.
The most annoying part is that they said in the complaint it was a "minor problem" and that I left a negative feedback rather than sort it out, damn cheek

Well I can't post the sellers name as its been to long for me to search the item. But I had a experience. Bought a lot of 4 xbox games (blinx, frogger beyond, amped, antz extreme racing) total came to 65 with shipping. Adress was in zion, il about 5 hours away. I pay on the 28th of Dec, well about 2 weeks later I e-mail ask if the items were sent. They replied ya they were sent, no tracking or anything. So finally 30 days later I file with paypal and ebay, and miraculously 2 days later I get the games, with priority and tracking. Sheesh, how hard can it be.

The following deadbeat won almost $120 worth of my eBay auctions. He bid multiple times in each auction and even sniped someone on one of them in the final minutes. I emailed him immediately after the auction ended. Three days later, with no reply, I emailed him again. Nothing.
A week goes by and I notice his feedback went from 2 to 1. Needless to say, it is now at 0.
If fcastle187 bids on anything of yours, you WILL want to cancel it immediately.
Heh, I just went to get a link to his feedback and it looks like he scumbagged a couple more people, clocking in at -2. Loser.

Got a couple people to add...
Maybe you all have heard of this guy... snoopy_rulez. What a complete pain in the ass. Here's the story:
I use BIN on two of his auctions, and pay him the same day. He emails saying they will go out in 48 hours. Well, a week passes, I've receievd nothing, so I email him. I politely let him know that I was hoping to get the items before Xmas, as they were gifts. He doesn't respond to that email. I wait a couple days, email him again. He finally responds, saying that 'hmm, that's weird, they went out some time ago. If you don't receive them by Christmas, I'll refund you, and you'll still get the CDs.' Ok, peachy.
The days tick down until Christmas, and sure enough, I don't receive the items. I email him day after Xmas, he doesn't respond. I finally get the items about 3 days after Xmas, and WHAT DO YOU KNOW- they were postmarked on Christmas Eve! Thanks, douchebag!
I email him constantly after that, asking about the refund that he offered. No response. One day, a week or so later, I check his feedback profile: Not A Registered User. Apparently, I wasn't the only person he screwed around Christmas time. Well, good. Justice is served, time to move on...
Or is it? I'm going through my feedback the other day, and it looks like he's selling again. And still racking up the negative feedback, too!
Listen, I know his soundtracks might be cheap, but believe me, it's not worth the goddamn hassle. Snoopy does not rule.
Another one that is sort of iffy... demitri2k. I don't know about the rest of his products, but I won an A/V switcher off him, and it was complete trash. I mean, jesus, it cost me about 40 bucks with shipping, so I figured it would be a pretty nice piece of hardware. Not so; it's a total generic-and-cheaply-manufactured piece of refuse. I mean, it felt cheap when I got it out of the box, but the main thing is this: I hook up all my systems, start playing, and whenever there's a bright flashing effect, the signal just craps out. NICE! That's unacceptable, especially for playing videogames. Piss off, demitri; if you were gonna gouge me on shipping, the least you could do is sell me something that does what it should (which is provide a decent fucking signal).
GRARG! Ok, I'm done.
Months ago an auction by "gamegeenie(76?)" came up for a SNES game I wanted. The description read something like "I ship Mon & Thurs, but you know how the post office is." which I felt was a built-in excuse for slow shipping. I won & Paypal-ed immediately, thinking/hoping I'd speed it along. After a week- 1st class mail shouldnt take that long- I asked (paraphrasing):
"Where is it?"
"I'm sure I sent it- do you want a refund?"
Which I thought was strange- an immediate refund? I waited longer still, & after some back-&-forth email in which she did LOTS of tap-dancing/stalling, the game finally came the day I was going to "demand satisfaction"- 3 weeks later! (During this time, she got some bad FB- no doubt she was doing it to others.) Turns out she waited TEN DAYS from auction close to mail it- & the PO took THAT long again to deliver it! My beef was w/ her though- she skipped 3 "shipping days" (2 Mondays & a Thurs) for whatever reason & never said so. I could've waited half as long! I guess blaming the USPS was easier for her to do, which I took offense to- being an employee there, but I never said so...if "gamegeenie76" ever pops up again, I'll pass.
After some checking it seems she changed her ID at least 5 times, was most recently "thegamegeenies" & has been suspended, no longer a registered user! Got 20 negs in the past 6 months, 30 negs the past year. Most of them shared my problem- S-L-O-W shipping, 2 months in some cases, & she responded to some negs calling the buyer(s) "impatient", "weird" & "delusional".
Whew- glad that's over!

I felt burnt after receiving the NES game Gyromite. The reason I bought it was because of the Famicom adapter that is included inside (I'm sure you know the story), but when I received it it was obvious that it had been opened before (scratch marks where the screws are) and of course the piece was missing inside. Last time I buy from tinycorkscrew
Anyways, I bought another copy and hopefully this will have what I need.

He's correct, not every Gyromite has an adapter inside. Actually there is no way possible to remove it out of the game and still have the game work. It's actually a lot easier to find one without the adapter than with the adapter. So you didnt get "burned", you got exactly what you paid for but your lack of knowledge of Gyromite famicom adapters cost you.
Plus this game is .99 at every Gamestop...how much did you pay for it on eBay?
I'd like to add mjentertainment for selling a lot of Saved By The Bell, Anna Nicole Show & Will & Grace DVD sets cheap and then cancelling all orders because they "aren't in stock". A lot of DPers bought them here thanks to me linking his auctions and we all got burned. :( Sorry guys, at least we got refunds!

The enlightenment has hit me on the head like an anvil. I acted under the impression all Gyromite games had the adapter (obviously), only to discover the cold dark truth. Luckily I figured the low cost of the game $2 wasn't worth any hassle with the seller so there was no neg. feedback involved.
Since there's at least a 50% chance I wasn't screwed over by tinycorkscrew, I'll take him off my naughty list. Too bad I went ahead and bought another one off eBay a week ago or so. Sigh...

Well, i didn't see one, so I'll start it. If you guys have other plans, lock this.
I think this thread should be used for us to list sellers or buyers we as a Classic Gaming community have had significant issues with. Ebay name, and why we want them blacklisted.
My nomination is a seller named rypolly . They sell a number of things, but I've seen them move multiple ColecoVisions, and Atari 2600's. I am certain that he is not a gamer, but an Ebay enthusiast who has figured out that old games = money.
I noticed off the bat in an Atari auction that rypolly was local for me. I emailed and asked if local pickup was possible, and he said yes. Lost that auction, but noticed a ColecoVision they were also auctioning. I won that one a few days later. I ask about local pickup...and he says No, shipping only. I e-mail him a copy of his e-mail saying that he would do local pickup, and he still says no way. So I pay shipping, and mail him a MO as he won't take paypal. Since I was annoyed, I looked at a few of his other auctions, and noticed something unpleasant. All of his gaming systems were listed as "tested" ... except for the CV I won. It was "untested", and the only one of four listed systems that wasn't. Oh oh. I was new then and had missed that. Oh oh.
The CV comes. Poorly packed in a thin box. With the auction items, a broken Ratshack computer joystick, and old RCA VCR remote, and some plastic dinosaurs (those last 3 things not in the auction or pictured). I notice that he had not left me feedback after recieving payment. I emailed him asking about my feedback only. He then left me positive feedback, only after I persisted. The next day, I complain to him about the poor shipping, the broken bits of unlisted crap in the box, the communication mixup, and the fact that this untested CV did not work AT ALL, and it cost me more than I thought it would to get, due to his unreasonable payment and shipping stipulations. rypolly says, " I gave you a good feedback, you owe me one."
>:(
I told him he would get at best a Neutral from me, if he did not refund me my shipping costs. I ate the "non working" part because he did claim untested. FUNNY..but he had time to test 4 other old systems!! I guess the ONE he did not test just HAPPENED to be non working. yeah, right. After much whining and complaining, he refunded me (via paypal >:( i had to snail mail him a MO!! >:( ) my shipping, and I left him an neutral sounding positive.
To this day, I feel like I sold him a feedback he did not deserve. He has negatives now (3 out of 40 some) but he had no negatives then.
RYPOLLY
Ebay opportunist, and cagey seller. In my opinion. Still sells old systems.
What exactly is your reason for blackballing this seller? He gave you a full refund, these are not retail stores so the squeaky weel gets the grease...
I was a little surprised to read about the guy in this thread who received bootlegs in the mail and still left a neutral fb???
Here are my worst experiences:
usa_wendy
She sold me a complete nobunaga's ambition with manual/map for $9 shipped... not a bad deal but here was my gripe; she listed $4 first class shipping in the auction, then sent it via media mail for $1.51. I emailed her about it and asked if she would give a refund for $2.50 over the discrepency. I waited a couple of weeks then left neutral f/b. She has loads of neutral and negative fb beacause of this type of nonsense. Actually I was pretty lucky because at least my game works and is complete.
The kicker is that she blames everyone else: if someone buys a badly scratched game that she listed as "mint" then they leave a neg bc she wont give a refund on the broken game, and she says that the buyer is an idiot and a scourge to ebay... She has to be the dumbest seller on ebay. She must know that all the negs and neutrals are hurting her sales?
pinapple69 sold be bootleg soundtracks at full price. I figured that at those prices($55 shipped for FF6 ost and FF tactics ost) that they must be legit... Ah nope. Sonmay and everanime respectively. I dont mind the retaliation f/b and actually I am pretty proud that a bootlegger thinks I am an idiot and that I "dont understand the music industry in asia"... Heh.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think not every Gyromite has the adapter inside.
I've looked at over 100 different Gyromite carts and only found 1 with the adapter.
It's easy to tell in the wild. The cart weighs twice what a normal cart weighs.

Deadbeat bidder. But what has pissed me off even more is that he has lied to me, schmoozed to me, and tried to persuade me not to leave feedback for him.
Here's the scenario. He wins my auction. He procrastinates. He lays low. He stops responding. Eventually I file NPB, and suddenly he re-appears with a schmoozy email saying how he can't buy my item but he will leave me good feedback, and I don't have to leave him any.
A quick check on his bidding activity reveals that he has been buying up stuff left right and centre since my auction - but still maintains that he is "unable" to pay for my game.
Block him now! That's aberfitchguy2003

It also has to be the cart with the smooth top (no notches). And it has the 5 flathead screws and not the 3 security screws.
But even with all of that I'm still battin 1 out of 100.
I'd say odds are you won't find one randomly in an auction.

Absolutely, as the two I've purchased off of eBay are exactly as you described. Neither had the damn adapter.

From his feedback, it sounds like he's pulled this stunt before. There's another feedback left that says a person won the auction 1st, but then the guy wouldn't/didn't sell the item. Doesn't sound legit to me.
And I don't get sellers who won't leave feedback until after the buyer does. I'm sorry, but once the buyer pays promptly, then you should be leaving feedback. THAT is the part of the transaction your feedback should be based on, NOT what kind of feedback they give you. If you do your job correctly, are up-front and honest, and sell good merchandise (or accurately describe things in less than perfect condition), then you'd get the good feedback you deserve. It seems pretty shady to do it the other way around.

Hi mr_nihilism!
You should have just let me know you were looking for a copy of Gyromite with the converter inside. I would have been happy to check for you, and I don't charge a higher price for cartridges with the converter inside. :)
If your cart looked like it had been opened, I do open cartridges to clean the contacts when necessary.
Anyway, in my experience, Excitebike is the cartridge that most often has the converter inside. Most copies of Gyromite that I've come across don't have the converter.

Add this guy :
mariconcorde
He bought a lot of Dreamcast games from me. Got them for dirt cheap too. He sent a money order and bugged me every day until I got it.
Then he left me a negative saying " Some games were scratched, smudged, missing manuals and 1 game didn't even work. "
Didn't contact me first or e-mail me or anything.
As can be seen from the auction all manuals were included. All games were tested and worked. And any scratches were minor . And I said the games were in good condition , not mint or like new.

I am refunding everybody's money for this reason. The person that was
supposed to ship them didn't send one of them I was the middle man in this
transaction. It will take two weeks to refund your money because I have to transfer
the money back to PAYPAL. The people who sent money orders will get them back.
For those I cashed I will send you a full refund for the amount (s) paid. I
apologize for the inconvienence. Again, your money will be refunded.

I feel I should blacklist the seller "megabuys.com". He sells re-sealed SNES games as Factory Sealed new. I purchased 14 games from this seller. 3 weeks later I received the package and there are 13 games included in the box, 10 of which are re-sealed games. So as for his refund policy I sent back the 10 games that were not factory sealed or new, by priority mail with delivery confirmation mind you. About 3 days later the package was delivered, according to the post office. He said that he never received the package. Finally about 6 weeks later after multiple e-mails he finally says that he received the package and it must have been lost in the mail, total lie. He then still refuses to give me a refund and simply mails the same games back to me that I returned. So now I am stuck with garbage that he still insists is new. This seller doesn't know anything about games or their condition, BEWARE.

all i asked for was a simple response...just say your dog died or something, and it'll be in the mail tomorrow...

First of all selling on Ebay can be a lot of fun. Dealing with non paying bidders is a drag, I have found a way to beat the dead beats. I list my auctions with buy it now and click PAY IMMEADIATELY. Anyone who buys from me has to pay at once otherwise their bid is not accepted. Since I have been selling this way Ebay has been a real pleasure. Imagine no dead beat bidders! :D

In an effort to keep the community safe and explain the story that 80 characters will not allow, we have created this post. If you have no stories to share with us on how you have been ripped off, I would ask that you refrain from posting in this message and stop spamming the boards.

I recently won the first 2 .Hack games for the PS2 from dhardy75 (auctions3077291424 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3077291424&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT) and 8105875514 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8105875514&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT). Since he had a good feedback rating, I went for it and paid for the games. Well, siince then, he became NARUed: his negative feedback went up quickly. While in the past he was found to be quite a slow shipper (in some cases, at least), he seems to have partially stopped shipping his stuff.
I tried contacting him by email; no answer from him. His phone number appeared in his personal info (before he became NARUed), all I got was voice mail.
It's now been a bit more than a month, and I still don't know whether by any chance my package may be on its way (with no answer from the seller, it's hard to know). In the meantime, I asked Paypal for a refund. Hopefully, I will be fully reimbursed.
*sigh* what can you do when even sellers with relatively high feedback levels crap out on you? And I'm sure that his account wasn't highjacked, since others did receive their packages from him.

I'm going to have to nominate russellkoehler for the blacklist. He was selling Game Gears on ebay with no picture. He said they didn't seem to have any problems but he didn't have games to test them. When mine arrived I opened the box and found the LCD screen smashed in. As in, the actually display inside the unit had been smashed. It showed up as a light colored blob with cracks running out it with the unit off, and a huge white spot that covered the middle 90% of the screen when turned on.
Anyway, the guy refuses a refund, and I eventually leave negative feedback and he leaves a retalitory. After that, I took a look through his feedback and found that All the other game gears he sold were broken too. Seems he bought a big lot of busted game gears and tried to pawn them off as new.
Well, that is why you should avoid russellkoehler like the plague.

That sucks, he knew what he was doing. Good thing is, you sent him a money order, and since hes local to you, you have his address. Id show up to his house personally and ask him about it =P He said it was "Untested" Because he in fact DID test it, and knew it was broke, and he knew it wouldnt sell if it said "Broken"

i will nominate buyer JAICOTT. JAICOTT bought an auction from me 32 minutes after listing and THEN proceeded to ask 10 million questions... i had to contact user JAICOTT on msn messenger and wrangle for an hour to get them to pay..then when they recieved the item(which i shipped fedex tracked thankfully) they claimed it hadnt arrived, i told them to go to the BUILDING OFFICE where it was signed for. then they found a crack in the item THAT WAS NOT THERE WHEN I SHIPPED, and started demanding "Some sort of discount"....just a pain in the ass. never sell to jaicott!!!

BAD SELLER and here is why
I bought 4 games from this seller, I was happy I got a few rares, Blackjack, & RC Pro AM II.
Well they arrived yesterday, half of the lables were peeled off on 3 of the 4 games, all of them had Rental stickers galore on the back as well. there was no mention of abnormal usage to the games either.... Heck one of the games RC Pro AM has packing tape holding the lable on it.
I emailed the seller and asked for a full refund and I would pay to ship them back or for a partial refund and keep the crappy games. He refused either and said I should be happy it was still a good deal
I am now fileing for EBAY Protection, dont know if that will help. Any other suggestions??? I paid with paypal, can I get my money back through them???
Oh and he also threatened to Neg me if I leave a negative for him But that isnt a big surprise.
PLEASE BLOCK HOM FROM YOUR EBAY LIST AND FEEL FREE TO TELL HIM I TOLD YOU
HERE IS A LINK TO THE RC PRO AM with a picture...
Please feel free to add in comments....

i have only had one bad seller, and that is eonlineauctionstore. i bought a sealed snes game from him, and he emailed me and claimed to have shippied it. so i waited and after about a month, no game. so i email him and ask whats going on. he says it was sent, and it may have been lost, and that he will send another one. not to mention that quote: " i strive to make my customers happy" bullshit he added to every email. so i waited again, for about another month. this was nearing 70 days now. i then emailed him again and said what is going on, and he says something about me not giving him an address to ship to, and asks for it and he will send the game. so i gave him the address AGAIN, and the sucker i was waited again. by the 90th day i had enough, and left him negative. shortly after that same day he emails and says he was sorry, he didnt know what happened, and he was for sure going to send it now. i didnt believe him at all, so responded with "ya, whatever" so i ended up getting nothing, and left follow up feedback saying that he lied again. if you want to read my feedback i left for him, http://feedback.ebay.com/ws1/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedbackMemberLeft&memberid=littlesamsones&items=222&item=-1&de=off

I've got to nominate master-of-hyrule, for this auction here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8118156632&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
This guy is being a total douchebag about giving me a refund. Why do I want a refund? Nowhere in that auction does it state that the item is not the one pictured, and it even advocates everything being in excellent condition.
I got a former rental, stickers all over the cart, box totally destroyed and the manual is missing pages. Much less, it was shipped in a padded envelope. He made shipping insurance mandatory, and he didn't use it. I sent him an email a week ago, no response. I sent him an email a couple days ago and I've been in contact with him since, check this out.
This is the first email I sent:
"So I recieved the game today... what happened? This is most definitely not the game pictured, and it's far from being in "excellent" condition. It was a former rental, the box and instruction book were both destroyed, and the cart has stickers all over it. What happened? If you don't have the actual item you listed, I'd very much like a refund."
----------------------
And the second one:
Hey, I sent you an email a week ago about the horrible condition of the game you sent me, and you never replied. Your case right now isn't holding up too well. Please contact me to resolve this situation.
-----------------------
Hey,
This is the only game i have, It is in the condition as described on ebay,
thanks
jiles
-------------------------
Alright then, I'm going to need a full refund and I'll pay for return shipping. There is no way this anywhere near the condition described on ebay and it absolutely is not the game pictured.
---------------------
Hey
This game contains everything listed on ebay, it is in my opinion mint condition considering its age, I thought I well explain this in my auction descriptions::
I would be willing to issue a partial refund rather than eat up the games value in a bunch of shipping charges. I can, if acceptable issue a 10$ refund if this would better value the game in your opinion. thanks Jiles
REGARDING USED ITEMS
If the item is not described as new above, it is used and The condition of these items represents my opinion of them, if you have any specific questions please email me. Unless item description is stated otherwise items are sold as is. Thanks for viewing my auctions.
-----------------------
That's completely unacceptable.
Nowhere in your auction does it state that the item is NOT the one pictured, and it ALSO states that it comes with Game, Box, Manual, and Flyers. The game came with a destroyed box, a stickered cart and a manual missing pages, and absolutely no Flyers or the poster as is pictured.
I still want a full refund and a return address. This is absolutely ridiculous and I suggest if you continue to sell on ebay, you actually picture what it is you're selling. When I recieve my $49.49 back via paypal, I'll ship the game out to you, same day depending on what time I get the payment.
No response yet. This guy sucks asshole, and I seem to remember him being somehow affiliated with the board. Hopefully this will smoke the rat out of his hole.

Canadian is a national identity. Jewish is an ethnic and religious identity. Also, there's not a history of systematically persecuting Canadians just because they're Canadian, Strange Brew aside.
I meant to the way charitycasegreg defined it
If you fixed something in a half-assed manner, would you say nigger-rigged it? No? Then why the hell would you say "Jewed" to mean getting ripped off?

Well, back on topic again. I would like to add this guy to the list. lizard-x.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8116681271
He claimed the games were mint. Pen Pen was. PSO had heavy circular marks on the disc. I could feel them with my finger and the other 2 had many scratches.
When I emailed him to complain he replied with this. His caps, not mine.
SHAWN,
THE ITEMS YOU GOT WHERE AS DESCRIBED!!
I DID NOT SAY THAT THEY WERE BRAND SPANKING NEW.
YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR NOTHING LESS NOTHING MORE.
AS FAR AS THE DEMO DISC GOES I DID NOT SAY THAT IT WAS INCLUDED.
ALSO FOR THERE BEING ANY SCRATCH'S THERE WERE NOT ANY THAT I SAW WHEN I CHECKED IT.
AND YES THEY ALL PLAYED FINE HERE IN OUR STORE AS ALL OUR GAMES ARE CHECKED BE FORE THEY GET SOLD.
IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR PERCHASE SEND THEM BACK AND WE WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.
JOE......
I thought it was fine, Ill just get my money back. This will end up being a waste of time, nothing more.
Initially he claimed he had a restocking fee. Yes. He actually wanted to charge me to return them. Graciously he offered to waive the fee. Nice guy.
I didn't hear from him for a while. He said he was waiting for me to send a request for the money through Paypal, post positive feedback and for me to mail the items right away. I asked him to use the refund payment feature on the money I sent so I wouldn't have to pay Papal's fees to recieve the money. I also didn't trust him. I though he might reverse what ever he sent me. I also told him I would not leave a positve comment, rather opting to not leave any feedback at all. And I would not send the games first; again becuase I did not trust him (but I didn't tell him that).
So I don't hear from him for a few days. I send him a reminder and nothing. So I left negative feedback and he leaves a comment made up of 2 lies. I also noticed he also posted a comment on a nuetral feedback he just received. I contacted the person who left the nuetral so he could read it and suggested he follow up on it if lizard-x was lying. And he did.
Just to for a some personal gratification I sent lizard-x this email right after.
As you can see I left feedback. Also, if you check in, I commented on the lies you left about that feedback. I also notified the guy who left a nuetral for the D&D figures. I thought it was fair that he get to leave another comment just in case you were lying again.
Do me a favor and block me from you future acutions. I would hate to have to accidently have to deal with you agan.

I've luckily only had two bad ebay transactions-
erikjoplin - I won an auction from him for an O2 w/voice, noticed he had another auction that ended without any bids for some Astrocade carts. So I made him an offer, he accepted. Well I get the O2 stuff, but no Astrocade carts. I email him, he says he will send, but never does.
jimn. - I won an auction for a Sega Teradrive for a little over $200. I get all excited, email him right away. He replies that someone else emailed him offering a lot more and won't sell to me.
I also got burned on usenet once -
Made a trade for a Saturn Magic Card for my Neo Pocket Color w/ Metal Slug. I sent, even threw in an 8 pack of new Duracells. I email that I had sent and it bounces. Never got the SMC. The name he used was Matt Walton, somewhere in Idaho. Found out after doing some research that he ripped off a lot of people including a guy for the SMC.

After 2 weeks I email him and he claims he was on vacation but that it is being mailed with a shipping # . He doesn't give me the #. I ask many times but he claims he sent it and tells me to check my deleted forlder or junk mail. I tell him it never came and ask repeatedly for that # but he claims he lost it. I file a complaint with Paypal and tell him to send the game or the money. He says he'll refund the money if I send the stuff back first (that's funny... the bastard hasn't mailed it yet). I have tried 4 time since to email him and I get no reply. Now he has an autmated response on his email saying he is out of town until Oct 4th. He had better swing by my place with my stuff.

Okay folks, I've got one.
If you're looking for OSTs (Official Soundtracks), you can forget about getting them from this seller:
gkworld.com
I was interested in BINing This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5925486831&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT) item; as you see there's no indication that it's a Sonmay copy.
I appreciate the seller being honest with me about the OST being a fake, but I easily could've bid on that without realizing that I'd bought faked up merch. That would've sucked.
Anything other than OSTs, it's probably OK from this seller, as I got an answer back pretty quick and feedback seems pretty alright.
Be sure to ask before bidding on an OST, especially one like this where the BIN seems oddly low.

I had a different problem with megabuys.com. I'd placed several orders from them with no problems until my last order. One PS1 game I ordered didn't come and I was told it was out of stock. Of course, I wonder how they can auction off games they don't have? Anyway, I wait for awhile...then a month or so later I e-mail about it...no response so I e-mail again. This time I do get a response that it will be looked into. Now it's been over 2 months since the end of the auction and no game. While Megabuys.com does have a large positive feedback rating, they also get a good number of negatives (over 80 negatives in the last month, I think) so buy from them at your own risk. I won't be...not anymore.

Sorry, I didn't put up my usual disclaimer...I don't mean to say that this is a bad seller or an unreliable one in general - just that in the case of soundtracks it would be best to leave their goods alone.
Frankly, I could probably find a few dozen people who violate the rules about not selling bootlegs, if I went looking...so I just have to say - keep on the lookout.
Personally, I think this is more of a stress relief thread than one people can actually look through easily and match names with.

I dunno if I should post it or not, but I had a big problem with kitkit.com..... Those bastards.... they sold me all of the shining force 3 scenarios at about $110 shipped... Now, the shipping was pretty damn fast. It was shipped on Thursday/Friday and it arrived the next Wedensday. It was shipped from Hong Kong by airmail. Now, they never mentioned that the spine cards and the stabs at page 18 of each manual of each game were used to get the premium disc. This was one of the reasons I planned to buy the game. Now, I got the game, eagerly wanting to send the tokens to get the premium disc, and for my surprise I got screwed. I tried to ask them for a refund, but to no avail..... After I left them a negative, look what they left me:
Rude, Threatened to leave negative feedback if didn't offer refund, greedy I mean, come on, you fuckers! You can leave me a negative but you can't answer my question? GOD! It pissed me off soo much! Ok, luckily, there was another way of getting that disc, but I didn't know about it after I gave em a negative. Was I right about leaving them a negative? After all, they didn't put that in their description of the item, and ALSO, those bastards said that I was greedy after they sold my PREMIUM DISCS FOR ABOUT $90 EACH! That more pissed off! If they listed the disks as mint in the description and there not than I would agree with the negative. If they listed nothing about the condition than I would disagree. Don't just assume that every auction is going to be mint. A lot of them out there aren't. As for the token you probably should of asked about that before placing the bid. I probably wouldn't of left a negative over that if I didn't ask before hand and they said nothing in the auction description.

Read the thing I mentioned above. It wasn't fair of them to get rich off my ass...   And after I received my premium disc, I did try to apologize numerous times but those bitches didn't even bother to reply....

I nominate seller "talesoffate" - I bought a hard drive for my PS2 off of him, he scammed me, then got 20 negatives in the same day for scamming other people! Check out his feedback!

I will happily nominate 'tciac' to the list of people who will screw you in a heartbeat on Ebay.
This miserable b*tch threw almost 400 NES games into a big box with 2 crumpled pieces of newspaper for padding. When it arrived (this was a $600 item) they bottom of the box had broken open during transit.) Games were missing, items were damaged and she had charged me $250 for shipping.
I made UPS mark the packages as damaged and asked for a refund. What do I get, $20. 20 F R E A K I N G D O L L A R S! I told her I expected at least the cost of the shipping for that one box returned... nope, nothing, no response to email, when I went to arbitration, N O T H I N G! Now I see she no longer sells.
It's a shame too! I happily sell on Ebay and through my website, I clearly state my shipping timeframes and stick too them. Packing materials are cheap vs the cost and hassel of filing claims for insurance. But this one miserable woman leaves me bad feedback and blew my 100% record (and it was her fault! this just kills me....)
Anyway, venting over, nomination made. Steer clear of 'tciac' she'll screw you over!

Should've paid via PayPal! I always do now, so if something serious does happen, I can always claim th money back.
I did that recently when I bought a rare PSone game from the US - It was advertised as factory sealed, but what I got was actually a reseal...
Anyway, I asked for a refund, and the guy said no way - He apparently doesn't do returns. So, I contacted PayPal, it went to an investigation, and he still refused, so PayPal took the $55 back by force and I kept the game too!
So I guess he DOES give refunds! Lol
That other guy though (talesoffate) - I was quite gutted, cos I really wanted the item. I didn't even get chance to leave a negative!
Again, advantages of PayPal.
