I won this item...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8145085235&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

You'll notice there is no "Payment is due within X days clause in the auction. I planned on paying by paypal that Friday, 5 days after the auction. I had just switched over my checking accounts and I didn't wan't to use my old bank account to make my payment from. Friday, being payday, would have been my first direct deposit into my new account, hence the delay in payment.

Well, 3 days after the auction, I hadn't paid yet. I receive the following email:

"Please pay for what you purchased soon. I really need the money. If you do not pay me within the next 2 days, I will be forced to leave negitive feedback and relist."

The only prior email I had received from the seller was the standard ebay invoice. Unfortunately, I did not check my email until 2 days later as I had to fly out of town on business for 2 days. That Friday, I log into ebay to make my payment and I notice he gave me a negative.

No payment terms in auction other than by paypal only
No payment reminder sent
No NPB warning sent

What a tool. Talk about impatient. Moreover, it's a $10.51 item, and my feedback is flawless as a buyer (No NPBs, and always quick payment).

Granted, he retracted after I paid him and left him a negative, but I would still avoid this impatient noob.

"Nascartycoon" (yes, that's his real nick - read it Nascar Tycoon, not "Nascarty Coon" which wouldn't really be appropriate, for some reason I read it that way at first x_x ) is on my list of crap sellers right now as he sold a "LIKE BRAND NEW" copy of the PSX game Apocalypse to me...so what did I get? Shitty one with perma-fingerprints all over the back of the game disc. The manual's decent but the case and CD are pure crap.

straitoutofjapan sold me a "like new" copy of Sin and Punishment, the price was O.K. but it wasn't "like new," having all four corners worn a bit and some obvious scuffs on the game box. Still very decent to look at though...just be aware this seller wasn't quite honest either.

Name - benjmatteson
Auction - 11 Nintendo NES Games: Metroid, Rad Racer, more

Sent paypal payment of less than $20.00 for it (BIN + shipping) never got an email or my items. He got a negative from another buyer for not shipping after I had already paid. Filed report with eBay, but nothing has happened yet.

I must post:

PiazzaPower

A long time ago, I did an auctin for a lot of SNES games. The lady paid, I sent her games. The post office should be at fault, because it took them awhile to get the games to her, and she blames me for them getting to her so late.

A year later, I put up another auction. She won this auction too (A lot fo 60 SNES games). She said "I didn't this know was you. If you send the games faster than before, I'll deal with you." So I decided to send her the games first, and I never received my $320 from her. She never replied to my e-mails or nothing. I didn't even get a chance to leave her a negative or to get my games back!

dude, are you insane? You need to wait for the buyer to PAY for the goods on ebay before you ship them to her... I know this was over a year ago, but wtf were you thinking?

Trust me, I had a lot going on, and my mind wasn't exactly in the right place. Don't worry, I've changed. No money = no goods. 8-)

Earlier in this thread (just over 2 months ago), I mentioned not getting a game from megabuys.com. About a week ago, out of the blue I got a PayPal refund from them. I hadn't even contacted them in the last few months so this came as rather a surprise.

It still doesn't mean I'll buy from them again, though... :D

despite my recent experiance, both of which were due to thier stupidit, the only peroson I would definately mention would be secretmain from spain.

he won eleven of my items, retro handheld games, astro wars and the likes, he was stupid not to pay as some of them were a very good price.
becouse theres so many I invoice him right away (nice bit of needed cash).. a week goes by no reply, payment reminder... no reply.. another week, no contact, I dont even mind if people take a month to pay as long as they keep in touch telling me they still want it. (in fact I got one guy now still saying hes gonna pay since december 15th :(, but hes keeping in touch so fine Ill give him another 2 weeks..
so then I send secretmain another mail, saying at least a reply in 1 week or I neg him.

unfortunately for him 11 lines of NEGs you can put a hell of a lot of info in.

of course I get 11 negs back, but fortunately I pre empted them saying negs I recieve will be revenge and this of course is date stamped :)

make some funny reading here see

jillygames on Ebay.

I recently bought a NES game from this seller and on the auction page it said that the game was "virtually new in box" and "never been played"

I asked how much shipping would cost and i never got a direct answer on my question, just that i had to pay. Jillygames charged me $12.99 for oversea shipping, but when i recived the game i see on the envelope that the shipping only had cost $5.60.

When i opened the game i see that the manual is missing. Jillygames doesnt mention anything on the auctionpage that the manual is not included.
And since jillygames used phrases like "virtually new in box" and "never been played" i assumed that the manual was included. Why would anyone open a NES game, just to take out the manual and then sell it incomplete?

I e-mailed the seller and said i would give negative feedback because of this if he/she didnt want to return the money i had overpayed on the shipping, but then jillygames threatend me to give negative feedback in return!

What reason would jillygames have to give me negative feedback?! I have payed for the game and everything.
I asked about why he/she would give me negative feedback and got this reply:

"I can leave a negative for you being unreasonable or whatever"

What kinda childish reply is this you may ask.
It seems that jillygames have no idea or knowledge on how to threat customers, eventho he/she included a note with the game saying: "If you have any problems or question please e-mail me"
Why e-mail when jillygames dont want to listen to what you have to say and reply with threats about giving me negative feedback if i give he/she negative feedback?

So my advice is:

DO NOT BUY FROM JILLYGAMES ON EBAY!!

About a year and half ago I bought a complete ROB and gyromite from jillygames, and it was shipped promptly to my house (2 days). Jillygames was very helpful and everything through out the auction (you know answering questions quickly and detailed). However this was a year and half ago. Just thought everyone should hear the good and the bad with this seller.

His shipping and insurance fees speak for themselves. Even worse, he doesn't combine shipping.

PS, check out his feedback for his last negative - $500 to ship a Saturn and 30 games.

Its stated very clearly in the auction that the shipping was this much, so if you bid you do agree to pay this much.

Its just a way to say Ebay fees.

letmycamarongo -- USE CAUTION!!!!!!!!

I had won a game (House of the Dead - Saturn) back in December. I had sent payment in the form of USPS money order. After a few weeks and no response I emailed to see if the money order had been received and it not I would cancel it and send another. Well the only email I got back was that it HAD NOT been received and so I cancelled it and issued another USPS money order. Well I get a form that shows that the original had been cashed so I cant get my money back and now he had double payment coming to him. I emailed him about the situation and well never got anymore response. Game never shipped. Ebay says they pretty much cant do much for me since I sent a money order so I had to take it up with the local law enforcement.

SO USE EXTREME CAUTION when dealing with this seller. Check his feedback. He seems to slip up quite a bit and I know he has alot of nice stuff that many folks here would like.

Now I only deal with sellers who offer paypal that way at least I have a chance to get my money back.

He got a bit testy with me cause it took me a while to send my MO (about a week) and then I emailed him back saying it should be there and I got the game 3 days later. Everything went fine for me, but seemed quick to get on my case about the MO.

Here we go with the naming and shaming. Again! And for good reason too!

Name: feedbackreciprocated
Items bought: Four GBA games (All brand new and sealed, but that's not important for me to make my point)

----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----

Basically, bought four GBA games. Asked if seller could package all four together to save on postage. Seller refused. (Laziness perhaps? Who knows) - Bid anyways as the games were going for a good price, and I really wanted them.

Anyway, auction ends, and only then do I notice how much seller is charging for P&P - £4.00 per item!!!

Now on four games, sent in one parcel within the UK, with recorded delivery and suitable packaging, should technically only come to around £4.50 (And that's being very generous in regards to packaging costs!) - But no, this seller is charging me £16.00 P&P!

Now in the auction, seller states that they will discount £1.00 per item if another method of payment is used which is not PayPal. But this is surcharging for use of PayPal I hear you cry! It sure is! - But, as I have no other way of sending payment, PayPal is my only choice. Besides, it is quick and easy and offers security should anything go wrong blah blah blah (We all know the benefits of using PayPal)

Anyway, that aside, I decide to contact the seller and ask why the P&P is so high. They tell me they pay someone £2.00 per item to package and post. WTF! So you are telling me I am paying around £11.50 extra - A) Because you are adding money on to cover your PayPal fees, and B) Because you are too fricking lazy to do something as simple as package four games into one box and sent them...

Well, it has been over a week since I paid (Yes, I actually did pay in the end as I got a bargain on two of the games, so it was still a reasonable price in total), so I am not happy at all with their service. Especially seeing as they pay someone else to do it for them! I'd expect the games to have been here next day!!!

Dread to think what I am going to see when they finally do show up! If they have been sent unrecorded and second class, in jiffy bags... That seller is SO going to have four new negatives added!

And yes, I have alerted eBay in regards to them surcharging for use of PayPal.

Oh, and upon checking their feedback (http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=feedbackreciprocated&item=&iid=&frm=1883&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:SFS) - It is clear to me that other users who have left a negative have also complained about the same things!!!

I would strongly avoid this seller if I were you - Unless you don't mind being ripped off for P&P!

Just an update:

Just received four parcels from this seller (All nicely boxed up and all)

Opened them up. What do I find?

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror - GBA- Perfect condition, factory sealed. Well done, one out of one so far.

Donkey Kong Country II - GBA- Again, perfect condition and factory sealed. Two for two!

Super Mario World (Mario Advance II) - GBA- Although factory sealed, slightly squished as if something heavey had been rested on top of it at some point. Not happy with that one at all. :(

Fire Emblem - GBA- It get's worse. although factory sealed, this was completely crushed in one corner. Looks like someone has just grabbed the game by a corner and squeezed very hard! Talk about major crushing!

But as all four box's were in perfect condition, I can rule out any damage done in transit.

Seller didn't make any attempt to let me know of any damage to those two games.

EDIT: Just added up the total for each parcel - Each has 58 pence of stamps on it!!!!

None were sent recorded delivery, so the total for sending these four games (Not including the box's they came in) comes to a grand total of only £2.32...

And he charged me £16.00 for this!!!

Got a couple for ya!

swizztle -

I bought an NES game from him, 3.00 shipped, after about 2 weeks and no game I check his feedback. Seems as if he's been getting negs and neutrals for quite a while over "items not recieved". I contact him, he says he'll send another copy out, wait a couple weeks and nothing arrives. Contact him again, he gets mad, says he's gonna send a refund. Well, the refund arrived via money order in 2 days. Yeah, 2 packages from him never arrived, but the refund gets here in 2 days. Meanwhile, the entire time, he's been a true asshole, cussing at me and such.

When I got the refund, I left a negative feedback for him, of course he retaliated saying i was "the worst eBayer ever". I wonder what makes me so bad? The fact that I actually pay for what I buy or is it the whole "expecting to get what I pay for" part?

hanna_enterprises -

Bought an NES game from him, 3.00 shipped again. Item in the picture was not a stock photo and it was a very nice copy, clean label. I get the item and half the label is peeling off! I e-mail him asking him to send the game in the picture or either offer me a refund, as this wasn't what I paid for. He sends me back a vulgar e-mail and says "It's a 20 year old game, what do you expect" and tells me I can leave him a negative feedback but he'd leave me one in return.

I'm currently working on a Paypal reimbursement on that one.

**WARNING** CASHVILLIN or ANDIERUE (name on D.P,)

CASHVILLIN listed items as "near mint" but arrived in filthy condition with black marker all over and bad labels. Here is our correspondance:

TEXASGAMEPLAYER wrote: I recieced my games today and I am very UNHAPPY, they were listed as "NEAR MINT" and are DEFINITLY not "near mint". I will not resort to leaving negs because you may have made a mistake in the listing or perhaps just don't understand the definition of "near mint". These games were : 1. dirty upon arrival and had writing w/ marker 2. label on one has a big chip on it 3. all labels had a LOT of wear marks and scuffs (NO shine or gloss at ALL) I would like to request a full refund to include shipping and recomend that you use appropriate grading and descriptions in future auctions to avoid unhappy customers. I only bid on auctions that state NEW, FACTORY sealed, MINT, or near MINT to avoid these kind of problems. Many sellers use these terms to drive up auction prices but when I win an auction where these terms are used I definitly insist that a seller be acountable for getting me the items in stated cond. If I didn't care about cond, would have bought from thrift store.

CASHVILLIN wrote: well, sorry to offend you by not knowing what near mint or mint, or super mint may be for that matter. Near mint to me means not brand new, not shiny, not glossy, not spanking clean, just in pretty good shape. I collect comic books and when I receive a near mint item...I dont expect it to be brand freaking new. I have sold almost every item I have as near mint, or mint condition and have not had one complaint. As for a refund? Im sorry. I dont do refunds unless the item is broken, or doesn't work.....and since neither is the case, Im sorry. As for your peception of Near mint........there is two separate pics on the auction. You can see the shape of the games from the pics.........one thing you might want to remember......these games are over 20 years old........what do you expect man? Sorry to sound rude, but I dont like when people decide to downgrade another because they arent pleased with their own great expectations........near mint, or mint, or just plain old as hell.........those games are in the shape they are described.....as for them being dirty.........does it say they were clean? no it says they are 100 percent working..............which i know they work because I double checked them right before I sent them to you. I am sorry that you are VERY UNHAPPY, but the auction stated what you were getting, and the pics showed you what it was. By the way? how do you expect 20 year old games to not have scuffs and to still be noticeably shiny and glossy? That boggles my mind man, Villin

JUST IN from andierue:

get a life you sorry waste of time...and stop harrassing me and badmouthing me NOW-or we will take this further....I AM NOT KIDDING THIS TIME and SICK OF PLAYING AROUND WITH YOU!

nes3000 from German eBay!!

Beware of this seller, although I have a feeling that he won't be selling on eBay again. I won 16 auctions from this guy a month and a half ago, and knew that I was going to have to wait for shipping because most of his feedback had stated that shipping takes around 1-2 months. Anyhow, I sent him a reminder half a week ago, and still no reply. I check his feedback on eBay and in the last week and a half he has received feedback from 10 buyers out of which 8 gave negatives for having paid and not receiving items/etc. The seller also stopped putting stuff on eBay, so I have a feeling that he has decided to scam all the remaining transactions!

Check out this seemingly innocent auction...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8195746620

Notice that the auction says...

"Shipping and handling is listed below. All video games are shipped via USPS first class mail"

Shipping is $5. Insurance is REQUIRED and costs another $1.50

Imagine my surprise when MY game arrived smashed & broken due to poor wrapping. Furthermore, it was sent MEDIA MAIL with NO INSURANCE.

This dickhead pocketed $5 off me.

What's more, he sells A LOT of stuff on Ebay.

If he's doing this regularly, he's making hundreds (actually, thousands) of dollars of extra money for shipping and insurance that he doesn't use on his packages.

What do YOU think about this sort of thing?

Yes it will be nice to compile a list of bad sellers.

As i'm ebaying for a year or more already, I can add some horrendous sellers i managed to work with.

1) hahanv

absolutely terrible one.
i'd been waiting for a week till he responded (even asked a friend to send email from another adress) with a words like this:

Hi, thanks for the reply email. At the same time I was getting your amount, I was also getting the shipping cost for another auction going to Spain. They were mixed. I had better also email the guy in spain. Cost to Russia for 14ounces air mail letter post is $9.25. I will resend the invoice. Sorry for the confusion.

and then:

Hi, here is the revised amount and address. Thanks again !!
$25.98 + $9.25 shipping = $35.23 total

mailing address:

Celina Aragon-Abrera
P.O. BOX 2021
Burlingame CA 94011

... i sent him cash by a money order and since then - NOTHING. No response, no feedbacks, no items. Absolute silence.

Another one:

classicgamesdepot

here's some messages from them:

Thank you for your quick payment, this e-mail is to verify that your item has been shipped out today and should arrive in approximately 4-8 business days. Positive feedback is left immediately upon receiving feedback from our customers, take care, enjoy, and be sure to let us know if you ever need anything again!

P.S.: We are extremely sorry for the delay, we were unable to pick up mailed payments until today.

~Dave of Classic Games Depot

i waited and waited and waited..month passed... no item....
then i emailed them concerning "where the heck is my item?"

and i got:

Hello, we are extremely sorry for this delay, in the event that it does not
arrive by Friday we will ship out and additional copy of this game, it was
sent via air and under normal circumstances should have arrived already,
thanks again for your purchase and patience!

..heh....pure bulls**t. I waited for another month = nothing again. No items, and they never responded since that time.

This guy has 1400+ feedback, but he is a total and complete chode.

I bought Zaxxon's Motherbase for 32X from him. He shipped it in a paper envelope. What was he thinking? Since the game has a cardboard/paper case, and it was shipped from the UK, needless to say the box was ruined.

Also, I e-mailed the guy to ask if the book was included. He said yes, even though it was not listed in the auction. Guess what? no book.

Don't buy from this licker of chodes.

I just recently won 27 auctions from this seller, and everything went relatively smooth with only 2 small exceptions. He forgot to include 4 items in the first shipment due to the fact that 2 eBay invoices were used. He quickly sent the 2nd package after I notified him at no extra cost. Items arrived in a matter of 1-2 days and were also perfectly packaged in large solid boxes filled with lots of packaging material (the items arrived in the condition shown in the pictures). The other exception was that one of the games was listed as a Famicom title, whereas it turned out to be a Japanese MegaDrive game.

I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with this seller, but I just wanted to let everyone know my experience with him as well.

-Speedy

P.S. The auctions were listed on the British eBay (UK), but the seller's location was in the Netherlands. ;)

Hm, I won an auction from him lately, and can't say that it was an overall bad experience. I got the game for 1/2 retail

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8202930285&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

...but the upc was punched, despite the game being in factory seal o_O I paid 1/2 retail for a relatively new game, so I left him a positive noting that the UPC was punched... heh, he hasn't returned feedback, and probably won't.

Weird, weird guy. His negs are really mean too. :(

Wow, I can't believe I'm adding my input to this thread.

I just got a message from vikingvision:

Item: Windows ME Upgrade CD like new (Item ID removed)
This message was sent while the listing was active.
vikingvision is a potential buyer.
---------------------------------------
Can I just buy the Windows ME CD now ?
The current bid is at $4.99 and I will give you
$15.00 + shipping now by PayPal if you agree.

I checked out his feedback. TWO NEGS from the same seller! He's got a -1 feedback rating!

So I put on my evil hat and ... here's my reply:

Dear vikingvision,

Requesting that I terminate an item before the auction ends for a price is against eBay policy. That, and your feedback doesn't exactly inspire trust in you. As per the rules, I have reported you to eBay moderators, so I'm sure your account will be terminated in a little while.

Have a nice day.

Yours,
David Silva

I even added that question to the auction! You know how you can add those questions to the listing, right? Well, I did. That'll show him.

Seller: trialgame

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3665&item=8171471296&rd=1

His shipping and insurance fees speak for themselves. Even worse, he doesn't combine shipping.

PS, check out his feedback for his last negative - $500 to ship a Saturn and 30 games.

... what the hell? The guy says he's from Japan, but he's listing auctions in SPANISH?

BEWARE OF THIS SELLER. He's ripped off a LOT of people without them ever knowing.

Final Fight CD:

Lords of Thunder:

Vay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8207221728

The guy doesn't even say they're bootlegs, but here's an email conversation with him:

Me:
Hi! Excuse me, but are these original discs? And is
shipping $3 per disc, or will you reduce shipping
costs if I buy in bulk? Thanks!

His reply:
If your first question is of great concern then I
advise you not to buy this item as you may be
dissappointed. However, I would combine shipping if
you wanted all three games offered:
vay, final fight cd and lords of thunder. Let me know
if you still want them as the auction has ended.

So I'm reporting his skanky ass to eBay for selling countefeit games. I only found how to report the item number - not the person. Dammit. I hope he gets busted soon.

I'd like to second bullseye. I'm suprised you're the only one who mentioned him. He's pretty notorious over at the pcenginefx forums. Personally he's sent me a broken copy of aero blasters and a copy of bloody wolf with the manual all wet and glued togther. I know he has ripped off a lot of people though. He sells duo's with cg-r's of rare games(dracula x , sapphire) for $100 more than his regular overpriced duo's. I've also seen him sell a/v cables and advertise them like you're getting a whole system with them.

I bought "SEGAGAGA DREAMCAST LIMITED BOX" from him on August 8th on eBay. He was listed as being registered in France, item ships from Japan. Didnt think that was wierd as he may be living in Japan or something.

I paid straight away through Paypal. The item was very cheap buy it now but I didnt think anything of it.

The next day an email from ebay says the auction has been DELETED, and advises me not to pay him as "unauthorized persons" have had access to his ebay account.

I rang Paypal and Ebay and was advised to file a claim for chargeback which I did.

The next day he emailed me asking for me to cancel the complaint - my take on this was that I would definitly cancel the complaint when the item had arrived

I got no response to this - heard nothing since despite several emails.

After 12 days, after I had been told that Paypal would automatically grant the claim in my favour if he did not respond (which he has not) - I have had none of my money back.

After getting rather irate on the phone to a "customer service" paypal employee I asked to speak to someone higher up, who almost immediately agreed to put my claim to the top of the pile (they were saying it would take up to 30 days to "investigate")

I believe this seller is pulling the same scam all the time. They have built up positive feedbacks on ebay. They list an item cheap buy it now. You buy and of course pay straight away for this "bargain" - then they inform ebay they have been hacked and so get banned and the item deleted - leaving you unable to leave them negative feedback.

Shortly after being banned, they were unbanned. I think they are doing this scam - hoping you wont file a paypal complaint - and then getting unbanned (you cant leave them a negative feedback) - I just checked ebay again and they are banned again! Im not sure but its possible they listed another rare item as a buy it now and then told ebay they were hacked...

If you dont file a claim, they get the money and you cant leave a negative feedback.

If the guy was genuine - he would respond to emails - he would of sent the SEGAGAGA box set - he wouldnt of emailed me just asking for me to remove the paypal complaint...

TOTALLY REEKS OF A SCAM... so avoid ZIRIA34 ziria@hotmail.fr

So at the moment I am $105 down (£60)

I feel I should nominate TheShadowCaster as a bidder.

He won an auction from me for a Tactics Ogre game towards the end of July and paid via Paypal on July 29th. I mailed the game out a few days afterwards via first class. During the week of August 7-13 I get an e-mail from him asking if I had mailed out the game yet since he didn't receive it. I told him that it was sent out through first class and it can take up to a week or two at the very most, if it didn't show up in another week to let me know and we'd work something out. Reasonable, right?

I get back from CGE today and see that he's filed a complaint with Paypal against me claiming that he's e-mailed me twice about not getting his game and that I've never responded to any of them. Pure BULLSHIT right there. I only got one e-mail and I did indeed write him back.

Getting curious now, I checked out what other items he was selling. Sure enough, there's a Tactics Ogre game and it was listed the day before he filed the complaint. I then checked to see what other items he had bought previously, and yes, he bought two Tactics Ogre games (along with other PSX RPGs) for the intention of re-selling. I thought ok, he's selling this other guy's game and not mine.

Only one problem.

The other guy's game wasn't complete, just a disc and a manual. The game TheShadowCaster is selling is complete, JUST LIKE MINE WAS.

Even better is this: His Paypal address was unconfirmed and he asked me in his one single e-mail to me if I had any tracking info for it. Let's see, no tracking plus unconfirmed shipping address...yup, I think I got fucked over. And of course, Paypal's options for me was to refund his money, provide tracking info, or state that I had already given a refund, no option was given to contest the charge at all. What a surprise.

Block this prick.

Well I'm nominating a BIDDER -- stvart2k. Basically this boils down to two problems:

1. Last night my auctions ended and the guy -- who won 2 of them -- asked me if I could combine shipping.

I combine shipping typically on all of my auctions -- however, I was selling 6-game lots in boxes that could only fit 6 games, in addition to a few individual items (he won one of each).

I SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THE AUCTION that I could not combine shipping on the lots and was sorry for the inconvenience. It was spelled out in red lettering. I answered a couple of questions during the auctions from people who asked if I could combine shipping -- I again said no, I was sorry but not on these items.

However, this one particular bidder (stvart2k) emails me at the end of the auction TWICE, having won the auction and complaining about it (which in itself is a violation of Ebay policy, as you're not supposed to renegotiate the terms/conditions of an auction AFTER it's ended).

So already he's threatened me with negative feedback:

"That's fine just don't expect positive feedback from me if any. IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIUS TO FIND A BIGGER BOX FOR ONE MORE GAME!"

2. This is actually this is pretty funny. I printed out one mailing label through Paypal -- it had to be cancelled because I erroneously applied Signature Confirmation instead of insurance (which is what he wanted). So I voided the label and printed out 2 NEW ones in the next 5 minutes, but that didn't stop him from emailing me with this gem:

"So you canceled shipping from paypal(us postal service?) How can I expect to get these packages? Did you find a cheaper way to send them to me. So you could rip me off on shipping."

I politely emailed him, giving him again the 2 new tracking numbers (which I assume he received), and stating that other bidders understood I couldn't combine shipping on the boxes (and believe me, they can't fit another game in them!). I had a bidder win one of the 6-game lots AND another item, and he certainly didn't complain.

But the bottom line is whether you like it or not, you DON'T place a bid on something knowing what the situation is, then complain afterwards and threaten negative feedback.

Obviously in over 7+ years of selling with 0 negatives I guess I can expect a n-bomb from this fellow. I'd avoid him if at all possible

toyplayer*com otherwise known as kt-figure

while i have no complaints about this seller initially, as the package came in good condition and on time, this seller is terrible dealing with items which dont meet expectation.

i bought a famicom alarm clock from toyplayer*com, as i said, i was happy with everything, all went smoothly, until i found the alarm clock was faulty, quite useless as an alarm clock as it turns off randomly. there is no way this was the sellers fault as it was factory sealed. my problem with the seller came when i emailed about it.

hello, i bought a famicom alarm clock from you off ebay, but it seems to be broken, it doesnt always come on when i put batteries in, and when it does work it doesnt stay on.. it goes off after a few minutes.. i can guarentee it is not a fault of the batteries, or fault of postage.. the packaging was plenty to protect it and is in excellent condition, i am not blaming you for this in any way, it was most likely a manufacturing fault, however i do want a working one seeing that is what i paid for.
thanks

Dude, you're right, Mastergame7 is a total piece of shit. I bought $3 worth of games from him that he no doubt would have sent Media Mail, and he tried to charge me *Thirty Eight Dollars* (Yes $38) for shipping. That's what he calls combined shipping? He sells so many games he can afford to rape people and it doesn't affect his feedback too much. Oh, how I loathe him. Needless to say when I got that invoice I told him to **** himself.

In addition here's a story about probably the worst buyer I've ever had. His name is:

escobar2099

Do not sell to this turd. He wins a loose copy of X-Men Vs. Street Fighter from me for a measly $11.50. Here's the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8215860101

It says blatantly right in the description that you need to have a RAM cart to play this game, even on a Jap Saturn. After a few weeks I file a NPB with eBay. Of course he says he doesn't want the game because he doesn't have a RAM cart and he doesn't want to buy the RAM cart I'm selling. After a little back and forth I close the dispute and leave him negative feedback. Then he sends me this email:

"as you can see your strike didn't hurt me cause I made 8oo usd yesterday chech for yourself Cocksucker and look at the feedback I got from the person who I did buy the game from Cocksucker"

What a nice young man, isn't he? So I do go ahead and check to see how good of a deal he got on X-Men Vs. SF, which leads me to this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8197805913

This mf-ing dipshit goes out and buys a different game altogether. Needless to say the evidence speaks for itself. I sent back a civilized email noting how he bought a different game and so on. Now this ass is bidding on the only two auctions I have going right now. Bottom line, stay as far away from this person as possible.

I purchased the VB in the auction with box and today it arrived. The ass didn't even put the thing in a shipping box. They sent it UPS straight in the VB system box. So know I have a complete VB with shipping stickers and a ton of tape all over it.

I emailed them asking for half my money back...I have the right to expect to recieve the items how it looks in the pictures...and since half of that wasn't the case, I wanted half my money back. Here's the response I got:

"I did not put any tape on the box. That was the work of Ups. It was insured so if you want a refund I would get in contact with them about it. And all ebay sales are final. If you wanted it for the box you should have e-mailed me before I shipped it and told me."

Pure comedy LOL

Apparently on ebay, you never recieve items in shipping boxes, and even if you do, it's UPS's responsibility because they put the labels and tape on the box.

Needless to say I filed a complaint with paypal...ebay makes you wait 10 days :/ Here's hoping that someone over there has enough common sense to see that this women is an idiot. And I'll be expecting my very first negative on ebay soon because of this

"ps2_xbox_gc" sent me a blatantly bootleg PS2 game, does not respond to emails, and has a 95.3% eBay rating. Never ever ever deal with this guy. Shipping took two weeks, also.

I've got 2 for this list

the first one is

browneyegrl

I did a buy it now for the first 3 seasons of xfiles for $50 i looked over the auction and it seemed like they were legit american versions, it even stated they were in her auction. Her pictures were of the US version as well. I paid her quickly and got my stuff in a decent amount of time. When i got it though they were chinese release versions. So i sent her an email saying i wanted my money back yada yada. She replied saying she wouldn't give me a refund and tried to claim that she never said they were US versions. Luckily i paid through paypal so i did the dispute thing where it looks over the auctions to see if there is a good reason for dispute. I provided proof and easily got my money back after sending the stuff back to her and providing DC.

the second person is

constant23

Quite some time ago i bought a genesis game from this guy. When i got it it was badly packaged and the cartridge was all beat up. The game didn;t work at first and after taking it apart and cleaning it thoroughly i finnaly got it to work. I emailed the guy and he never replied to it so i left him neutral feedback. Very soon after he left me negative feedback saying that i never contanted him. After looking over his feedback he has gotten several neutrals with which he left negative feedback saying the same thing. He also has several negatives, with some being removed through mutual consent which i assume is becuase he left them negative as well.

Resolved.

Unfounded. I have more than one NR reader to sell. Guess what? You were plain old outbid. People do have more money than you! Suprise!

I expect this unfounded post to be removed.

Do not trust this guy:

siliconvalleyliquidators

Besides the obvious fact that he only has 1 feedback, he has his buddy named Dhaunet shill his auctions all the time. And he doesn't even do it in a sneaky way. After I "lost" the NR Gamecube auction to Dhaunet, he immediately, i mean within a matter of a minute, after the auction ended, gave me a 2nd chance offer.

Plus, I asked if I can pick it up since I live very close to manhattan and he insisted that it was shipping only when he firmly said on a QA session that it would be pickup-able.

Slimey lowlife.

Unfounded. I have more than one NR reader to sell. Guess what? You were plain old outbid. People do have more money than you! Suprise!

How about I sue you for slander? How would that sound?

I expect this unfounded post to be removed.

Kevin

I think it would be libel.

Anyway, I BINed a DVD from a seller called moviemarz. Stay away from this douchebag powerseller operation. I have emailed them well over 10 times saying that I can't use their special checkout crap and I need to be processed some other way. I have received maybe three responses, one of which may possibly been from a human, but I think they were all automated. They just filed a nonpaying bidder thing and I am really pissed.

From what I've read here you CAN leave feedback after 90 days. It just won't be listed in your feedback section. Just enter the auction number that you want to leave feedback for and most likely you'll still be able to.

beware of raregamergirl !!! This seller sells games supposedly in *MINT* condition but as her feedback shows, most of the time it is used, dirty, cracked or scratched...

Ye, your so cool with that comment lol. What did you try to acomplish with that comment btw? I dont get it. Who say you shall leave feedback right after you recive the item? Why do you think it says within 90 days? Its because you have the option to leave feedback within 90 days (its more acctualy i learned and experienced).

I left negative. You can leave feedback like 120 days after the auction have ended. So suddently your comment made no sense :)

themoviemaverick (Rixner3@comcast.net) finally decided to pay me $95.........after about 7 months of waiting. Nevertheless, this guy is still tried to cheat me. won a private auction for 10 nes games, some common, some more rare.

Take a look at how long i've had this thorn in my side.
In the end I just snapped and let hm have it......AHHHHHH. It goes from present to past. Read it bottom-up.

I was waiting for my auctions to end. No more excuses, you have heard enough. I don't blame you for sending this email. I have inadvertantly taken advantage of you, but I truely meant no harm, though I am sure I caused it.
I sent you your money a little ago, and I am sorry for wasting your time and patience.

Sincerely,
Joe

I SWEAR TO FUCKING CHRIST I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU AND YOUR BULLSHIT. I'VE GIVEN YOU 7 MONTHS TO COME UP WITH THE LOWSY GAMES OR A LOWSY $95. AND YOU CAN'T DO EITHER??? YOU SAY YOUR GETTING THEM, YOU SAY YOU HAVE THEM, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ANYMORE. WHAT IS UP YOUR ASS. IF YOU DON'T REPLY SOON, I'LL MAKE SURE NO ONE BUYS ANYTHING FROM YOUR CROOKED ASS ANYMORE. GOT IT?

ROB.

Heres the list

Adventures of Lolo 3
Contra Force
Ice Climber (in box)
Joust
Kickle Cubicle
North & South
Popeye
Soccer
Pro Wrestling

With Adv. Lolo 3, North/South, and all the Black Box games, I believe these would easily add up to the amount I owe you. If I find my copy of Felix the Cat, I will certainly throw it in, like I planned on doing but for some reason I can't find it for the life of me.

Joe

so where's the list???
rob.

There is no excuse for how long I have made you wait. I will send you a list of games that you can choose from to make up for the money.

I would refund instantly, but I only use whats in my paypal account for doing transactions online and right now I have not sold anything in a while, so I do not have the funds.

You will receive a list around noon, eastern time.

I apologize for the unecessary delay.

Joe

HEY, when am i going to get my $95? seriously, WTF. it's coming on 6 months. Third time i'm sending you my paypal: guysmiley1982@msn.com what more do i have to do? sell me something of value or give me my money back.
rob.

I thinkI will just give you a refund, please send me your paypal address, I will just send the money over that way. I don't want to get into the reasons of why this took so damn long, as I am sure you are tired and don't care.

Apologies,
Joe

i've been patient, waited and extra week and still no games. 8 weeks now. where do we go from here? how about a full refund?
rob.

You should recieve them soon. . . I put no tracking number with it, but email me on Friday if you don't have them.

Joe

have you sent these 4 games yet?

Adventures of Lolo 3
Ice Climber
Joust
Popeye

rob.

I dont think I am getting blackjack anymore.
Thanks for the address, games will go out ASAP.

Joe

hi, do you still have the 4 games you've mentioned? let me know if you get blackjack b/c i may buy it from someone else.

All right, I can hook you up with the following games:

Adventures of Lolo 3
Ice Climber
Joust
Popeye

I may be getting Contra Force, North and South, and Blackjack very soon, so if you are interested in those games also, we can do more dealing after.

For the 4 games listed above, I would sell for $30.00, shipping included. That would leave you with $65 credit correct?

Let me know what you think,
Joe

All i want is the 10 games you owe me.

Adventures of Lolo 3
Contra Force
Ice Climber (in box)
Joust
Kickle Cubicle
North & South
Popeye
Soccer
Pro Wrestling

thanks,
rob

Send me one last list of games you want, and I will try and match it as best I can.

Joe

okay then, glad were both on the same page. then we'll deduct whatever $ from the $95.
thanks for the quick reply.
rob

If you bid and win those, your $95.00 will act as buyer credit and I will deduct those from the $95.00. And then whatever amount is left I am sure we could compensate with other games.

What do you think?

Joe

okay, maybe i missed something here... how come your selling contra force and kickle cubicle? i hope those arn't my copies... just to make things a little easier...if i bid and win them, i won't pay. let me know how that sounds.
thanks,
rob.

You will get a refund along with as many games as I can compile from your list. I will email you again very soon to let you know the exact games I am sending you, and what I am going to pay you for the missed games.

I will make sure you are happy either way, and I apologize for the long drawn out delay.

Joe

okay... it's been almost 3 wks and no reply, how about you just refund me the $95 us.? hmm?
i could care less about the games, i can get the games elsewhere. i just want my refund, i first spoke to you regarding these games on May 30th and now it's Aug 2nd. am i supposed to wait around forever? can we please get this over and done with. i need to know right now!
rob.

I will get together all the games I owe you and yes I will give you a partial refund. I will let you know the ones I send you on the day I send them and then we can talk.

Thanks for being patient.

Joe

hey, have you mailed the games yet? when am i getting my refund of 30 usd? let me know asap.
rob.

Sure, I am going to look over the games one last time, then send them out and give you a refund.
I apologize for not having all the games like I had stated, it was truely unexpected.

Joe

hey, i'd like to know when the games are coming, and when i will be refunded some of the money for the missing 5 games. if you refund me $30, i will be more than happy. let me know what you plan to do asap.
thanks,
rob.

Rob, I thought I had all the games put together, but unfortunately, I only have the following from the list:

Contra Force
Ice Climber (in box)
Joust
Kickle Cubicle
Soccer

Are there any other games I could possibly substitute for the missing 5?

Joe

hi, actually i was going to pay tomorrow. sure, i could pay today.

thanks,
rob.

Hey Rob, any idea when you can pay for these? Sooner you pay the sooner I can package them up to send.

Truely, I was hoping I could get a payment by tonight, I owe a guy some dough and he isnt very patient. You can let me know when to send the games, I just would like a transaction.

let me know ASAP,
thanks,
Joe

Thats one crazy story hehe. Did you pay with Paypal?

uptheirons1982
12-02-2005, 07:50 PM
yes i payed with paypal. Wish i had payed attention to paypal rules back in may. there's others emails which i deleted long ago where after i won the auction he'd stated he was going on vacation for 3 wks and wouldn't be able to mail the package, it took him another 2 wks to reply. i was emailing him once a week with a "where's my package?" email with no response. Then when he finally did respond he said he was very busy with summer school homework O_O and didn't have the time to write back. Lie after lie after lie...

I'd like to add a seller by the name of niko_niko_pun_! Previously known as nikola_gt77. Real name appears to be Nikola Prevot from Sapporo, Hokkaido Japan.
I won an auction for a whole bunch of spare parts for the PC Engine LT from this seller. Months after paying the package still hadn't arrived despite the fact that it was sent via EMS courier. The seller also never provided me with a tracking number that get's issued with EMS shipping.
Contacting the seller resulted in no replies. I proceeded to report the case to eBay who started and investigation. This at last spurred the seller into coughing up a tracking number for the package. Funnily enough the number was nonsensical BS and showed no resemblance to what a real tracking number should look like. Proof enough for me (and more importantly eBay's investigation team) that the seller was full of it and thus to decide the outcome of the claim in my favour. They proceeded to revert the paypal payment. Still made a loss of about £10-15 on it do, probably due to currancy changes. :/

First time ever I got conned by a Japanese seller.

I was wondering about that. If you will out a complaint on Paypal and the seller gives a trackingnumber to Paypal, will Paypal check 100% if the tracking number is real?

Balusilustalu
12-09-2005, 02:49 PM
They probably do if it can lead to answers in a dispute. They initially just provided me with the tracking number that the seller had given them. I noticed straight away that it was a very unusual number. Not at all following the EMS tracking numbering system. I tried it anyway and ofcourse it didn't get recognized. I told the paypal dispute investigation team that the number was completely bogus and that because of this fact it was clear that the seller wasn't being truthful to them and me. I'm sure they must have checked, or tried to get an answer from the seller about this, as within a day I got a mail that the money had been transfered back to my account.

Ok, thanks. I filled out a complaint once and the seller filled out a trackingnumber. But since it was sent overseas with Airmail there was no trackingnumber so how could he fill one out.. I did recive the games later tho so problem was solved. But I wonder what Paypal would have done if I never recived the games.

most of the ppl on ebay have been great with the exeption of sam1978.
This ebayer should be avoided, this retard sent my package to the wrong address , took out the game i bought the sega bundle for and then said i dignt pay for item after i complained about it. Also the games they gave me were from a previous auction that the buyer said he had not recieved the goods imo!!! x_x

-Speedy

P.S. The auctions were listed on the British eBay (UK), but the seller's location was in the Netherlands. ;)

castlevania4ever own a gameshop.I know him from www.segaforum.nl

palet th is a great seller when you ship one item by airmail ems.But when you buy a coupel of consoles and request to ship by seamail. He charge amazing high shipping cost .I have pay for the package 160 $ shipping cost. When i recieve the package i saw the package was smaller. Then a package i have pay 35 $ shipping for.And the package of 35$ was heavyer then 160$

i could beter use that money for a contra force factory sealed copy :(

I know now how much shipping is in japan and usa .So peopel cant fool me anymore witch charging way too high shipping cost
