I think my N64 Perfect Dark collection is finally completed. Of course, neither my US or JP copies have been opened or played. But nobody plays games anymore. Thats why we collect them. Besides, I have the superior XBLA game for when I actually want to play it.

Surprisingly, yes everything (not the including the colorful picture xD) fitted perfectly into the beautiful box. :bigmac: The EU Black Phantom Edition's box has a little more depth than the NA Deluxe Edition's box while they both have nearly the same width in size when I was comparing the two boxes the other day; however, the length of the EU Black Phantom Edition's box was almost a centimeter shorter than the NA counterpart though. ^o^

Yesterday at a GameXchange I bought what I believe to be a Sakura Wars Dreamcast VMU for $6.95. It's pink and has "Daiteikoku Gekijo" written above the screen, with a building next to it and "Ginza Tokyo Japan" written underneath it in almost unreadably small type. I also picked up a couple of Dreamcast controllers designed to look like Saturn gamepads, one white and one blue. I don't recall seeing them for sale back in the day, I think they might also be imports, but I'm pretty uneducated about foreign Dreamcast hardware and software so I'm probably wrong about that. Once I can get my dying digital camera to take a decent pic, I'll post it.

The game in the jewel case is Gain Ground SX (PCE CD). The hucard is Hana Taka Daka!?, or Long-Nose Goblin. The two SFC games are Hagane and Hammerin' Harry (Ganbare! Daiku no Gensan). Figured it would be much cheaper just to import Hagane since all I want to do is play it anyways!

Hagane seems surprisingly cheap whenever I look for it now. Thanks also for reminding me to look at that Hammerin' Harry sequel - a surprising number of Irem games are on my want list lately. (Well, only a couple at the moment actually.)

I suppose my latest PCB is a Cybattler PCB, arrived from Italy. Not sure what region it hails from (if this was a multi-region release), I'll have to check MAME.

The two PCE games are Ai Choaniki (don't laugh) and Gotzendiener. The cart-only SFC game is Kishin Zenki: Battle Raiden. Finally, the CIB SFC game, and the one that I'm most excited about, is Do-Re-Mi Fantasy! I've been searching for a CIB one forever, and I finally found it on the 'bay for $59; only a bit more than the cart-only price :) If I didn't have this in my saved search, I would've missed it!

First came this for $15.01 from a U.S. seller. Practically MINT.
This thing usually goes for $30+. Two buyers got close to my $20 max bid, but that was it.

Got some Saturn games plus a stack of duplicates.

Also got a boxed gray Saturn, boxed controller, boxed Virtua Cop Special Pack, and another analog controller. I thought the console was the Japanese version as the seller claimed, but it turns out it's a Hong Kong/Asian version. Still plays Japanese version games though.

Got this Japanese Sega Saturn on ebay for $31.52 shipped. Was sold "as is", but I tested it out with my cables/games/controllers/memory carts and it works perfectly.

Even better; it turns out it's a Cross Products development system.

There's a port on the side, a "VCD/CD" switch (don't know what it does; only works when set to CD), and a reset button.

Next to that is a red knob that changes the Saturn's region along with a sticker listing the settings.
I've identified them as:
1: Japan
2: Asia NTSC
4: North America
5. Central/South America NTSC
6: Korea
A: Asia PAL
C: Europe PAL
D: Central/South America PAL

Tested it with my Japanese and US games and it does actually work! I don't know what the rest of the settings do.

GS Mikami is one of my favourite SFC games (played it to death using emulators), and now I've finally found it pretty cheap at $49.99. Auctions in the past (and present) have been up at $140 or so.

Lagrange Point will only be the second game I own that you'd really should be able to read Japanese to be able to play. I got around AnEarth Fantasy Stories by using a guide, so I will try again with this one.

I b-a-d-l-y need a CIB copy of DoReMi Fantasy. I know there's people on here that do have a CIB copy, but so far I've had no luck on eBay. Never even seen a CIB copy on there. Help please!
