I know what you mean by Donkey Kong. I had the trophy a couple of times but I don't even want to play it anymore. I've played roulette and it's kind of fun...but does anyone actually put chips o n the numbers? WHat are the odds of winning if you just put a chip on number 7? I usually just go red or black...that way I usually have a 50/50 chance...or maybe 49/51 since it hits that one greeen "0" once in awhile...

You do have almost a 50% chance when it lands on red or black, but it also takes many more gambles to reach a high score. All in all, it theoretically should take around the same ammount of time to reach X dollars no matter where you put your chip on the board.

Honestly, it's not much fun. Place bet, spin the wheel. Place bet, spin the wheel. I just knew I had enough patience to get the trophy. And when someone takes it from me, I'll have enough patience to get it back.

The only time I've gotten this message is whie playing the game (opened in a new window) i went and browsed the forums or went to a different site while I had the game in progress. Try to submit, I get that error.

I've been contemplating going for that Burger Time trophy. The first two times I tried the game I thought it wasn't good, but now it's growing on me and have been getting past a new level now and then.

I kind of like that "new" Kaboom...I think I got as high as 2nd place but have since been knocked down a spot or two so I'll probably try again. I got 3000 on Solingo once but have never been able to reach that since...I did get 2950 yesterday, though, the closest I've gotten to it in weeks.

The game is wierd, when I got to the boss on the first level (the Mutant Piggy) my score dropped from 15000 something to 7000. I don't know why, it just kept decreasing, then I died. On my second try I got a final score of 15000+ (can't remember exactly) but when I tried to submit my score I got a message saying that the forums where under contruction. Got the trohpy on the third try, though.
Ha Ha! Took it back. 8-) Still haven't made it to the boss yet.

Also I as well as a few others haven't been able to get monkey cliff diving to load, is it a firefox thing? It worked back when I had Mozilla... Another Moshey game "board" is displaying similar behavior as well.

I don't know what the issue is with those two. They work fine for me with Firefox and with MSIE. There really isn't anything I can do about it other than remove these games entirely.

I also see you got the demonic defense trophy. I notice that some of the games that were free non-trophy games before you can now get trophies for. I guess Joe must've tweaked them somehow. I played some Home Run Derby and was in 3rd place there the last I looked. I did, however, manage to win the Yahtzee trophy...with a score of 297, I believe. That's not a bad score...but I'm sure someone will beat me sooner or later, probably sooner. :P

I did a little research and found that the MOHSYE site has been down for about a month! For some reason those two games need to link back there before they get started. Had I known that I wouldn't have installed them in the first place.

So...

I did find another tweaked version of Monkey Cliff Diving and that should be working for everyone now.

I removed Board from the Arcade at least temporarily - I've found what I believe to be a better downhill skiing game anyway, I hope to have that one installed sometime during the week.

I keep waiting for World Of Games to come back and reclaim his Donkey Kong trophy. Perhaps he (like me) has decided it's just not worth playing anymore...wouldn't you hate to get up to 200,000 points...your prize in sight...and then have the barrel bug exert itself. Oof. So I've moved on to other games. I still don't think I've played half of them.

A little bit ago, I beat my own high score on a game I'm the trophy holder on. A little note at the next screen told me I'd won the trophy! At least I didn't get an e-mail telling me I'd been dethroned by myself LOL

I'm even more amazed with dieourumov though. He's nabbed 7 trophies just in the last few days, including absolutely obliterating the Donkey Kong high score.

Yes and I was stupid enough to accept a gambling challenge from him. He took 100 of my meseta just when I was nearly at the point where I could afford another arcade machine. Well, I'll just have to play the few games I'm good at for awhile to earn enough money to get one. I should be able to get one tomorrow. I certainly can't count on winning that lottery...

PacMan crapped out on me yesterday. I got a score of ~43,000, and instead of saving it when I died, it automatically began loading a new page, then gave me the "No linking" message, even though I had clicked on the game from the arcade menu.

I'm getting to the point at Yahtzee where if I have one or two unproductive throws, I just hit submit and begin a new game. I guess I figure why continue if I can't win that jackpot. I like the newer Pac-Man though I never seem to get any meseta for it, even when I score 50,000 points or more.

Hey, I bought another arcade cab today. I had to grab Tron since we're running out of that one. Pong is one I won't get as its sold out...unless they either get more or someone gives one up. Well, I guess I don't need to get every arcade game... :/

Tonight I finally broke a hundred thousand points on Pac-Man. My final score: 108,580. This was enough to move from 5th place to 4th, leapfrogging over Milk who had just over 89,000 points. I guess you could say I "got" Milk :D

I'm not sure if I'm getting better or (more likely) a lot of the better players haven't been playing at the arcade much since it was made available again. At any rate, I now have 12 trophies...I think I had 14 but have been "overthroned" on two of them. In the past, I probably never had more than 2 or 3 at one time. I notice on my info to the left, I'm listed as a Hall of Fame Member. Is this based on the number of trophies you win? If I lose all my trophies to better players, will I be booted out of the club? I tried to click on that link but got a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" notice so I'm not sure what is supposed to be there...

Can someone help me out with "42"? Some of the mini games are easy to figure out (answer the question, put the strawberries on the cakes, etc.) but all the ones with the bulldozers confuse me. I click on the house or whatever, it jumps in the air and then it says "Time's Up". What am I supposed to do?

Update: I went to play Yahtzee today...don't know why, it's very difficult to win. I played one game and got 178 points. I decided to play one more game and...sonufagun!...I beat the top score by 1 point! Not only did that bump me back up to 2 trophies but it gave me the jackpot of just over 4,000 meseta, woo-hoo! Who needs to win the DP Lottery? :D

Only one trophy have I even gotten close enough to a high score to beat is Duck Hunt, twice I've been overtaken for the trophy, and 3 times I fought to get it back, competition in that game has gotten quite stiff.

It's been nearly a month since anyone posted in this thread but I had to mention this...

Just beat my own high score in Pepsi Pinball. My previous high score was about 41 million points...this time I hit 53 million, beating my old score by a bout 12,000,000. Whew. I forget what the jackpot was...it was less than a thousand meseta.

Now I have reclaimed the trophy to Yahtzee! I had it for a long time...then it was wrested from me in early April. Finally, after two long months of trying off and on, I took the trophy back, beating the previous high score by 8 points. 348 points may not seem like a lot but in this game, it's huge. Everything went right for me this game and I earned a huge jackpot, over 7,000.

No one ever sends me any gambling challenges. I wonder why? :/

I've been having to reclaim a lot of my trophies. I was near ready to over take the king when out of no where everyone just seemed to target my stuff. I've gotten most of it back, though Predatorxs gave me quite a back and forth for Puzzle Bobble. That Donkey Kong score is good, but it is beatable... I'll wait till I'm one spot away from dieourumov and then claim Donkey Kong to surpass him.

Well, they were lower, but people started taking them from me. I'm working up my Qbert score at the moment and some others as well. I didn't have to try that hard to take second in Donkey Kong so my guess is one weekend on a Saturday after I put the baby to sleep I'll stay up and put in the hours to take that one too. Yeah, not too many are playing, especially certain games. We have barely enough for a top ten in Pac-Man. The #10 guy's score is only 35,040. I should play more games than I do as far as different games go. I was playing Qix and will likely get back to that soon. I enjoy playing but I'm just not that good at them for the most part. Xevious, Sealab 2021, Donkey Kong, Multi BreakOut, Demonic Defense 3, Demonic Defense 4, Break It, Bomb Jack, Alien Hominid, Heart Attack, Break It are games like this. I hold 4 of those trophies.

The next line of games take some level of competence besides just sitting there and clicking as well as patience:

1 Kick Soccer, Frogger, Gyroball, Blastermaster, Hot Shots Golf Caddy, Hybrid Fighter, Bubbles, Redbeard. I hold 4 of these trophies.

the others are starting to get tough, which incorporate extreme luck and some skill, as well as patience. Iron Chef, Roboto, Doom Runner, Dancing Queen, I hold none of thes trophies, but I have held all of them at one time.

the other are just down right bastards, or impossible.
Mission Babylon, Kung Fu Statesman, Joust, Crazyballs, Bounceback, and Alpine Skiing. I hold 1 of these trophies.

I had Kung Fu Statesmand and may be able to reclaim it, but you're right, it's a tough one at this point. It's been pushed pretty high. I also agree about the time thing. I had about 15 trophies at one time...back when everything got wiped clean and I was going around winning them left and right, knowing full well someone better would come and take them away. I now have exactly 2 of them. As I mentioned, I got the Yahtzee one earlier today...that's a game of chance without real skill involved. My other trophy is for Pepsi Pinball. I had one fantastic game, one round actually. I think I scored about 40 million points on one ball and have the current high of about 53.3 millioin points on that. I've gotten some decent scores on other games but no other trophies at this time.

Plumber is based on skill, sure, but there's a lot of luck involved, particularly how the pipes are placed when you start the game. The less moves, the better.

I forget how long I've had the trophy to Pepsi Pinball but it's longer than would show on the boards because when I scored 53 mil to take the trophy, I was actually beating my high score, thus dethroning myself.

Happy_Dude actually sent me a trophy challenge...hadn't got one of those in awhile...for Pepsi Pinball. He did manage to take 2nd place and earned the silver trophy but fell about 30 million points short of my #1 score.

I miss the days when a few friends and I would send gambling challenges, betting a few hundred meseta each on one game of something. I wouldn't mind doing that again. Of course, it would have to be a game I've actually played.

Woo-hoo! I just got a 3rd trophy, taking the top score to Qix. The top score there now is about 61,000. I think I earned about 700 meseta in the bargain, too.

Later That Same Day...Well, that didn't take long...my trophy for Qix has already been taken away. I think it was taken by the guy I took it from so I guess it's fitting and proper. At least I did get some meseta out of it... :D

Anyways, how many hours do you guys have in the arcade so far? I've got something like 94 hours logged in order to get where I am, and it doesn't look like my record's going to improve. I've had one trophy stolen from me, but other than that my throne's been stable.

Hey, ?!?!?!?, not that I mind being the new King and all, but what happened in the trophy room? Dieourumov has no trophies now? I didn't know trophies could be forfeited. They weren't taken from him, I got 3 golds that used to be silvers that were his trophies.

As mentioned before, I'm happy to be on top, but it would have been better had I done more to truly earn it.
