So is FF2 even worth DLing? something like that needs an online demo for sure. Also did they fix the LOTR map pack problem yet? I should finish that up on single player soon before I forget about it completely.

FF2 is better then FF1 but its not online in demo form. Yea the LOTR map problem has been fixed.

Is it me, or should this be a sticky topic?

I can't even find the damn Vision cam and I got some chick to flash over a game of Uno :P .

First stop was Gamestop. They had 2 that came in and one was a preorder and the other sold within an hour. Also they were not ordering anymore. Then he went on with his drivel of how reserved games ends world hunger, helps to find a cure for aids and would have prevented the holocaust.

Next was Wal-Mart. I had to get the manager and she informed me that no they had none and they were not ordering anymore.

Guys, F.E.A.R. is so bad on 360. I'm really dissapointed with this one. :(

I'm really thinking we need to have a thread devoted to Vision stories. You know, once everyone has one.

I can't even find the damn Vision cam.

I had the same experience at GameStop, then went on to find my Vision cam at Hastings, much to my surprise. I would guess there's one not terribly far away from you if you're in Palestine, TX as your profile indicates ... I know there's one in Tyler, for sure.

Sonic has a few bugs - namely the camera.

But it's the best sonic I've played since Sonic CD. They've done a good job getting the Genesis style of gameplay in the original 3 down. The amazing sense of speed is back as well...

That camera could be a huge problem though. I got killed a few times because of it.

If anyone cares, I blew 150 useless points on the new Halo Wars theme in the Bringing It Home category ... and WOW. If you have any interest at all in the game or the franchise, this is actually a VERY nice looking theme.

I'm a graphic designer and I think most of the themes just look thrown together, but this one is really nice. It's a dark, glossy skin with rich background pictures. Actually worth the 150 points, IMHO, if you want any themes at all.

You will finally be able to get your hands on the demo if a copy of the US Official Xbox Magazine is purchased after October 24th, otherwise another wait until sometime in November will have to suffice. The demo will be single-player only and will feature part of the "Dante's Casino" level. Rainbow Six Vegas will be here soon, in fact November is the official release date and will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Probably.

Personally, though, I wish they had released the single-player demo first (which I believe is due out next week). I prefer to get to grips with a game prior to venturing on-line, otherwise I just make a fool of myself (which I did, thanks to a team-kill and a sharp exit).

LUMINES LIVE LIGHTS UP XBOX LIVE TOMORROW

Earlier this week, rumors began to swirl that Lumines Live, the Xbox 360 version of Q Entertainment's popular puzzle game, would soon hit Xbox Live. The reasoning went that, with only a few months left in the year, the game had to be released sometime soon, and unconfirmed reports had it being released as early as this week.

Now, it's official. This afternoon, Microsoft announced that Lumines Live will be released tomorrow as the latest push in the company's Xbox Live Wednesdays campaign. As of 1:00 a.m. PDT (0800 GMT), the game will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 1,200 Microsoft points ($15).

Designed by legendary game-maker Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Space Channel 5, Rez), the first Lumines arrived in 2005 on the PlayStation Portable to rave reviews. Earlier this year at E3, Microsoft announced that the franchise would also be coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Sporting the same Tetris-esque gameplay as its predecessor, Lumines Live includes six single-player modes--challenge, skin edit, mission, puzzle, versus CPU, and time attack. It also features two-player head-to-head multiplayer via Xbox Live and unnamed music videos that Microsoft reps could not identify.

Besides the regular version of Lumines Live, Microsoft is also selling a Lumines Live! Advance Pack separately for 600 Microsoft points ($7.50). According to the company, the Advance Pack will include 22 new skins with new music tracks. Microsoft also said more updates would be on the way in the form of unspecified "exclusive downloadable content to enhance and extend the gameplay experience."

It's official! Yay! The price sounds pretty nice actually and I cant wait to download this tomm. Lumines is the only game I still consistently play on my PSP, so I hope this is just as great as its PSP daddy :)

That Lumines game seems expensive. Anyone else agree?

For the amount of replayability, no. I think $15 is a bargain, and we've been spoiled by the less expensive XBLA games thus far. Two-player H2H on Xbox Live makes the deal sweeter.

Currently, for the standalone game on PSP, it's $20. And that's after the $20 price drop from the initial price. Even at the launch price, this game is/was worth every penny.

All these arcade games are causing me to go broke, i think ive spent over $200 on these...

I know the feeling I have had a change of heart. The games (to me) have been excellent conversions of there arcade counterpart. For a long while I felt like anthony1 refusing to pay but then I thought about it and had a change of heart.

I know the technology needs to be payed for and them taking the time to do the conversions and all. So I decided to quit being so defiant and just pay and enjoy. The try before you buy is the closer. If I don't like it at least I am not forced to buy it. buying it to try it is far worse.

Here is the funny thing, I have many versions of Doom and a couple of umk these versions to me seem far superior to the ones I own. The color depth in umk is very nice and I put doom up there with my n64 versions.

I never played umk at the arcade I how close is this live version.
