Jack Bros. is up for sale or trade, apparently the value of the US version has shot up recently, a box and manual alone went for $40 shipped on eBay last.

VERY nice on the gameboy items. Buster Bros. complete = pure gaming goodness.

I think i'll find one soon. I found an AC Adapter for a 5200 last year, and with these 5200 games, it's just another step away from either the unit, controllers, or a RFU. Or a brand new one. :)

How are the TG16 games working? I haven't ever seen any TG16 games in person, so i'm on the lookout for some TG16 goodness.

Most all work good except for a few that the seller said weren't working, which they didn't. I lent them to Nez and he's gonna look em over. I cleaned em quite a bit but it didn't seem to help. I have a few extras that will be up for sale pretty soon. Always keep a look out in the cd sections at thrifts for tg16 stuff. They always throw them with music cds, and they stick out quite a bit. I've found a LOT of tg16 stuff in the wild before and on a few occasions, stuff was stolen. Damn hooligan kids =\.

Anyhow, I decided to hit up a bunch of gamecrazys in tempe/chandler and was able to find a few genesis carts I needed. Their inventory lists weren't up to date though, so I couldn't get a couple carts I needed....would have loved james bond the duel for 2 bucks, but oh well! I can't find the damn PUNISHER cart anywhere....probably going to put in a request at bookmans for it.

I hate to break it to you, but that game is no longer rare. Let me guess, did you find it a GameStop or EB games? The reason why I ask is because I was in the same mindset as you 2 months ago when I found one at a local GameStop. It's one of the infamous reprints from Game Quest Direct. Like other reprint PS1 titles Rhapsody & Persona 2, GQD reprinted this game & sold some on their website, then sold the rest off to the GameStop/EB chains. The games are basically new, but are being sold as used because they were never sealed.

I got a new/sealed copy of Metal Gear Solid 3 for $12.95 at a Sam Goody's (store closing sale, 40% Off) about an hour from my hometown. I'm going to try and get back there next week and hopefully the percent off will have increased.

Finally grabbed a Resident Evil 2 for Dreamcast off of eBay, won it for $12.85 shipped!

Picked up a used copy of Resident Evil DS at GameStop for $25. And a new copy of Super Princess Peach for the full price.

I agree, in a lot of cases this is true. But not in all cases.
Take this Saiyuki game for example. Yes, I bought it for $20....but I see it on ebay for $35.
Many other games are like this, usually the rare games. Saw Tales of Destiny complete in there for $40 and it goes upwards of $60-70 on ebay.
Gold cartridge Zelda used for 9.99 in there, I know many that would pay more than $10 for it, even it it is just the cartridge.
Point is, Gamestop has some great deals sometimes if you ask me.

I hot-linked from ebay because I couldn't find any other pics to it. It's pretty nice and holds my gameboy stuff, plus it looks great on my shelf as storage.

I also grabbed these games for the N64:
Cruisin USA ($3) - Cart only, great condition all around
Mario Party ($5) - Cart only, very good condition, just the "Official Nintendo Seal of Quality" is faded, but not the art cover.
Mario Tennis ($5) - Cart only, writting on back, not on lable & will clean off to make it look great, tiny rip on front cover.

If anyone else has that Gameboy carrying case let me know how much you paid because I've never collected a carry case. But I do have 2 N64 game drawers.

I don't know if this counts but I have Suikoden 5 and Kingdom Hearts 2 both reserved at Gamestop.
I'll post more on them and probably pictures and stuff beginning of april when I know more about how great I hope these games will be.
I'm patiently waiting for the Suikoden series to reach the calibur of gaming that Suikoden II was. Since Suikoden II, I feel the series has made a steady decline. Hopefully Suikoden V will have its act together.

Most of my buys this month have been from online auctions, including a lot of Sega CD stuff. I did go to a local game store today, though, intending to pick up Ys and Generation of Chaos for the PSP. I decided against Ys, and picked up the European import of Breath of Fire III instead. As I was leaving, I saw a copy of Dance Dance Revolution: Disney's Rave (the Japanese version, not the US one) sitting behind the counter -- mint and complete -- which the store had just taken in as a trade. I paid $11 for it -- now if only I could get the US version for that price... :)

All this stuff was in excellent condition! The guy I bought D&D and Mystical Fighter from on-line kept them in mint condition. I was disappointed with Stormlord because it doesn't have the proper box, but I guess I'll just have to pick up another one.

Well, now it's time for some Shadow Hearts with drunken kitty ass kicking. This is a damn good month....I was hoping to cut back purchases, but I really want Onimusha and Oblivion. We received Onimusha at work, and I think I would have ended up buying that if we were allowed to sell it ;D.

Infiltrator ($0) - Cart only, very nice condition and nothing fancy, but did have a few loose stickers on it promoting a Nintendo challenge and a persons name on the tag.

SNES:

All three SNES games are very nice condition, no deformities. Infiltrator was free because there wasn't a sticker price on it.
