I went to a Swap meet over in Toronto on Sunday and picked up a bunch of stuff. Most notably: A lot of Channel F games, and a NES game that I needed:

Scored a couple of real good uncommon/rare SNES titles at my favorite Game Craze. After sitting in awe at the 60+ NES decks stacked up in the back, I picked up a couple of obscure SNES gems:

Ninja Warriors - $5
Operation: Logic Bomb - $5
Aerobiz (I love this ****in game!) - $10

Nice haul, cyberfluxor.

Thanks. The time I was looking in store bins one of the stockers dumped all of those Nintendo games in there. So I guess I got there just in time to pick up someones small collection of NES titles they didn't want anymore. It's funny because this is the place that just lists NES as $1 without care of real market value.

got some nice crapola over the last day or so...

birthday present from GameTZ member benstylus:

the Saturn versions of...
Sonic 3D Blast
Earthworm Jim 2
Spot Goes to Hollywood

all complete, and pretty decent games.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Saturn market here blows, ergo, beggars can't be choosers. I'm happy to have something to play that doesn't have cutscenes you can't skip *cough*Rayearth*cough*.

from the Book Broker:

Lunar Silver Star Story Complete, well, complete. Collector quality for a change.

the damage: $15 and wishing he didn't pay so much for shipping :-/

The Lunar is a spare and will be for sale or trade.

PS2 (unit only) needs work, £5

Red Official N64 controller w/ rumble pak (FREE)
Grey Official N64 controller (FREE)

All in all, a nice, quick find, even if the PS2s are beyond my skill to repair, they are certainly worth more than £5 each sold as faulty on eBay :-P

Today was officially video game day for me. The only thing I got that might qualify as a "find" is a boxed Warsong for Genesis for $20 (which seems to be only slightly less than what it sells for on eBay, seeing as how it doesn't have the manual, but I don't care; I've been looking for it for a while). I also bought SimAnt from the guy I bought Warsong from, and, much to my dismay, he had a copy of Mother 3 on his shelf (I'm still waiting for my pre-ordered copy to come in the mail through Play Asia). I also bought Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny, Lost Magic, and Rebelstar: Tactical Command today. And then, when I got home, it turned out that my copy of Mother 3 came in the mail after all, so hooray--no need to be mad that a local store got it in before me.

hey Ms. Alba ........luv ya

good day for me, woke up (that's a good start) then did the walk the dog thing. got the paper and looked for yard sale stuff. found one up the street and walked into some ps2 stuff. some mosquito game, final fantasy x2, lots of racing and quad stuff, all a lil rough for my taste. best stuff was a ghost recon 2 and some dragon game, but that was pricey. ended up buying some goggles (vacation, N.Myrtle comin soon)
had to run to wally world and return a hummingbird feeder. almost bought some hookups for the xbox i got out of the trash a few weeks back. i'm just too cheap

What?!?

YOu might want to go back to that yard sale and pick up that "some Mosquito" game BIGMIKE. Better known as Mr. Mosquito, it's one of thos quirky Japanese titles that is always in high demand, but the supply is low. Although, if GQD re-printed it (wouldn't surprise me) then don't worry about it. It seems to be a fairly uncommon game.

This game goes for like $15..there are like 3 in my eb.

GQD only reprints games that sell for close to or more then $100.

not a particularly productive week for my collection ,but I did pick up 2 nes systems for under 5$ total
what was great was both of them work, and I think one of them might have been "modded" as it doesn't blink at all (i think the security chip was disabled) either way a good find.I also got a grey zapper for 2$ as well. (more then one of the systems no less)
http://www.green-ranger.com/nes/finds/twinnes.jpg

i also got these in from a trade with somone on the buy/trade forums here. he only would do deals for 10$ or more so I tossed in the gay gay revolution game to get it up to 10, but the price was worth finally picking up the original version of the best racing game ever made since enduro

admittedly I can see why the first one was never released in the us .very limited courses but still a hell of a lot of funI just wish the second one had the "drift" button..would have made it alot easier to beat on the harder dificulites ;-)

I also got Ibara and Sega Ages 2500: Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box. Only $200 total...

There were three yard sales just down the street this morning so I took the pocket bike out (which someone always tries to buy thinking it's part of the yard sales LOL) and took a look.

One of them was ALL kids clothes. The other was a bunch of old lady nick-nacks. The third had some alright items, strangely enough one of the people selling there was a guy I run into at the flea market all the time - buying mass quantities of games. Talked for awhile and I bought a couple things from him.

NES - Zapper, loose $1 (moves NES consoles faster)
Genesis - Capcom Fighter Power Stick GS, loose $0.25

http://www.startoursinfo.com/junk/DP-Finds-CapcomStick.jpg

Yeah, the Zapper was a dollar and the stick was a quarter. LOL Anyway, the stick isn't as bad as I remember them being, still no where near arcade controls like the SNES stick I sold recently but still nice. Also the Genesis version looks like a Duo-R split down the middle. LOL Both work fine, the stick actually worked pretty well for a quick game of Final Fight CD and some other titles on the ol' JVC X'Eye.

I ordered a Logitech Cordless Action Controller for PS2 on Amazon yesterday. I chose free delivery and it came today. Wonderful. It was a bit pricey, but so far I'd say it was worth it. It feels more comfortable than the Dualshock 2. If I notice the price comes down in the next month, I can claim the difference back.

I also got the 2 disc San Andreas Soundtrack for £3 and a Chemical Brothers album for £3.33.

In the three years I've been using Amazon I've never had a problem. They actually seem to have been getting better recently. I must have spent over £1,000 there now.

Next target: A Joytech 8 inch LCD screen for PSTwo. it got 9/10 on IGN but apparently the sound doesn't have much bass. It comes with a DVD remote and a car power adapter. I've been thinking of getting a separate screen to use the PS2 in the car but the cheapest I've found are £100-125 for a 7 inch. Of course, when I saw an 8 inch LCD TV on special for £80 a few weeks ago, I didn't have any money.

Maybe next payday.

I can finally make a post in the April forums. Damn.

After a weird as hell day, among many things I finally got a Gamecube. Indigo, with all cords, one official controller, 256 black memory card, $30 total. Pretty happy about that price! :D

Assorted Atari, NES games, a couple Atari 2600 trackball controllers, lots of tradebait that will be thrown up for sale I'm sure once I've tested it all. But the Gamecube, hot damn!

One of the biggest garage sale days around my area happened today. I went to the two garage sale "events" where the neighborhood goes garage sale crazy, but skipped the single garage sales since I blew my budgeted money quite early into the day. My wife and I went walking down the first street of garage sales, and after passing two sales, she found a $20 on the sidewalk! The fifth garage sale we encountered finally had some kids wandering about, a good indication of whether or not it will have anything I'm interested in given the area. The first table I found had some PS1 games, and since I don't have too large of a collection already, I picked up the ones I'd actually play. I got Dino Crisis, GTA Director's cut w/ London 1969, Metal Gear Solid, and Sim City 2000. I went up to pay, and realized there was a box of Dreamcast stuff at the cash box. I started looking inside, and the mother said "all of it works, 5 controllers, fishing controller, hookups and 15 games". Wow. I figured it'd all be sports games, but was pleasantly surprised. I offered $50 and ended up paying $55 (which was really $35 considering the $20 my wife found). After getting to the car, I looked through the box and found 4 VMUs with caps and 5 tremor packs, 1 of which is a licensed Sega version. The games are:
World Series Baseball 2k1
Virtua Fighter 3tb
Crazy Taxi
NBA 2k1
Web Browser (sealed)
Web Browser 2.0
Sega Bass Fishing (GH)
Worms Armageddon
NFL 2k2
World Series Baseball 2k2
Airforce Delta
Sonic Adventure (GH)
Soul Fighter
Centipede
Walt Disney World Quest Magical Racing Tour
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
Ecco the Dolphin
Power Stone 2
All of the hardware is spotless and scratchless, not even a crumb in the controller grooves. Two cases have a small crack, but every disc is scratch free, making most of my collection look bad!
Other than this, I got Link's Awakening DX w/ manual and Mario Teaches Typing 2.

Picked up the Gamegear, the carrying case, manuals, 2 Sonic 2 games, and magnifier for $17. I've already put some of my games in there to stash away. So I now have 2 Gamegears and now I need a link cable to go head to head in some of my Mortal Kombat games.

The PC games I got are:
Cyberstorm 2 Corporate 2 Wars
The Perfect Genearl
Battle Realms
War INC.
The Sims (Gave it to a friend)

They had a deal, 5 PC games for $1 so I'm happy with that. They are for DOS & Windows 95-ME. I'll have to boot up a DOS bawx to get them running.

This one's a doozy, I'm basically combining a bunch of things from my latest trips to the flea market. Some images are on ImageShack because I'll be auctioning them off on eBay, and I can't host pictures which will be used commercially on my website. I am, however, hosting one or two which will be uploaded to eBay so that's fine. LOL

That said...

12 Inches of Snow (CD, $1)
Age of Mythology OST (CD, $1)
The Henry Mancini Institute - Reproductions and Re-Imaginings of Henry Mancini (CD, $1)
Isle of the Dead PC game ($1, going to eBay)
Johnny Mnemonic PC game (2CDs, $1)
Now That's Entertainment (4CDs, $3)
Time Life: Solid Gold Soul (3CDs, $3)

This is an interesting lot, simply because of that Henry Mancini CD. I got it for a buck... and it's on sale by an Amazon zShop for, oh, 88 bucks. o_O It's a great CD, so I dunno if I should auction it off or not...

Made a nice 5200 score at my local Salvation Army today:

http://64.159.77.51/~helmet/o2william/5200find1.jpg

James Bond 007
Dreadnaught Factor
River Raid
Pole Position
Centipede
Choplifter!
Kangaroo
Mario Bros.
Joust
Moon Patrol
Pengo
Dig Dug
River Raid
Countermeasure
Missile Command
Pitfall
Pitfall II
Frogger
Kaboom
RealSports Tennis
Keystone Kapers
RealSports Baseball

http://64.159.77.51/~helmet/o2william/5200find2.jpg

Wico joystick! (No Y-adapter, but luckily I already had one.)
3 standard 5200 joysticks
VCS Cartridge Adapter
5200 Power Supply

http://64.159.77.51/~helmet/o2william/sm64.jpg

Super Mario 64
Demon's Winter (old DOS RPG)

All the 5200 carts are unboxed, but there was one game box full of 5200 and 2600 manuals and overlays. Amazingly, it was the James Bond 007 box, the rarest game in the bunch! :) So I got a complete James Bond out of all this.

It cost a bit more than I like to pay at a thrift store, but it's been so long since I found a classic lot I just had to grab everything. Maybe I'll actually have to dig out my 5200 again. If the Wico works, I'll finally have a decent controller.

the two NES carts were from a local flea market. it's funny because one of the vendors at cinciclassic 06 a few weeks ago (roman games, i believe) was trying to sell that formula one game for $75. @_@ @_@ checking completed auctions on ebay shows the last two went for less than $10 shipped....

prince of persia was brand new from Blockbuster GameRush 1/2 off clearance.
