Story wise I'd really like to see Julius' story. It's bothered me since AoS.

On another note, the DXC Konamistyle pak is sweet <3. Best b-day present so far.

I'm hoping for the 1999 game (Julius). It would be great to experience that story, Dracula's last hurrah. Since it would likely be a CV3 style game, I would hope it was on a console and 2D.

You can find several on ebay for the first two seasons. The 3rd (in my memory the last?) season is coming bundled with the mario show,whatever it was. I never grabbed those videos when I was a kid. I still have Captain N video tapes (with horrible finnish dubs) and need to get the zelda box set. i wish I'd find some Zelda videos with the finnish dub. I wonder if my bf would sell that one video he has XD.

I do have the commercial game yes, complete/mint etc. There is an even rarer version of the game that was sold from a vending machine in Japan, basically 5.25 discs in a plastic box. I've only seen that up for auction once on ebay, it was with a ton of other X68k stuff. The auction went out of my price range pretty quickly.

It's funny you should mention that particular game, someone payed nearly $1000 dollars for the retail version on Ebay a little while back, sheesh. The retail game is only worth about $120 tops, at least in my opinion.

So thats what it looks like. Apparently the X68k used real floppy disks. B-drive. Reminds me of my crappy Tandy.

Yep, the X68k used 5.25 or 3.5 inch floppy drives, but had expansion ports for hard drives. Some of the games could do a hard drive install for quicker load time/no disk switching or whatnot.

Funny you should mention old Tandys, I actually was able to get VGA working on a Tandy 1000 by installing an 8 bit compatible VGA ISA board. You apparently can get sound and an old NiC running in them too if the ISA cards are 8 bit, but I didn't try that.

After a battle with Luxie and a slightly less insane (than myself) rinkya user, I won this nifty blue disk variant of Akumajo Dracula FDS. It's missing the outer sheath that holds the plastic case, but those are pretty easy to get a hold of.

These blue disks are different from the yellow ones in that they have an actual dust cover/sheath over the spot where the disk reads. I know there is a blue disk variant of Dracula 2 as well.

Overall, more than I wanted to pay. But I couldnt be near the computer at it's exact ending time, so oh well. It's a nice item and doesn't hurt my Christmas shopping plans.

I've read on about 3-4 websites now that those disks were sold to be compatible with a special nintendo fax machine that sent in your high scores to Nintendo for contests. Interesting.

I got one of those tube organizers from work today and it solved the ugly problem of the giant box filled with poster tubes nicely. (except the 3 PAL SOTN thin banner posters, I need to get tubes for those buggers still..)

I think next I need to get some smaller rubbermaid bins and reorganize the smaller items more effeciently.

Yeah, I missed the picture of that when I looked the first time. That is pretty badass, I didn't know they actually made a Vampire Killer whip. I figured that it would be a chain one if they did.

Thats Akumajo Dracula for the MSX2, more commonly known as Vampire Killer (the name of the European release).

It was originally thought to be the first released game, but in fact it was released a month or two after Akumajo Dracula for the Famicom disk system.

I actually was able to play this some on real hardware last month on the MSX2 Ed Oscuro gave me, I have to say it makes a difference, especially with the timing and controls (mine came with a joypad)

Tough game, one of the most interesting aspects is that each subweapon seems to have a different command to work.

Oh man I think I'm starting to hate christmas.

Yesterday I lost a bidwar for CV 2 BR. It was mint too, had all the inserts and I lost it by one fucking dollar only. My stupid computer froze and it cost me yet another bid.

Today was the ending day for a FS Bloodlines too. Some guy who had bought SotN for 30 eur presumably doesn't know shit and kept pushing the price up. Now the finnish auction site has this stupid thing that the auction ends correctly or 5 minutes after the last bid. I could have won it for 30 eur but noooo, it had to be 40+sh. I don't mind the price pushing THAT MUCH because the game will be worth. He should have just quit when he saw I outbid him every time he raised the price. Why can't they leave me alone.

Then I tought that maybe there was some replies to my sale thread in the finnish CV forum. I hadn't put prices on my Saturn SotN because I haven't had the chance to put the picture up and the case has a nice crack in the front, which was done by, da dum dum dum, poor packaging. So I have no idea about how much I should ask for it so I decided if someone wants it they can tell how much they would offer. So some guy starts bitching about how everything for sale has to have a price. Asshole, I started the thread. If I HAD put prices someone would have complained that they're too pricey. I don't take that kind of shit, and I dislike selling stuff already.

The last thing ruining my x-mas is the new Joker from the new Batman movie. JESUS CHRIST WHAT WERE THEY THINKING.

I got another bad ebay experience. I bought the ugly DXC pre-order figure. I paid 13 dollars for ship and what I got in return was an 1.80 bubble mailer and a destroyed package.

Good thing I got the thing sold along with my loose cv cart and my saturn SotN (still looking for one with the spine card/sealed).

I'm starting to think about not using ebay ever again, jesus. People can't pack accordingly these days. My christmas is becoming worse by the second.

And the first simon figure is okay, but the repainted one is just plain sloppy and horrible. It may just be my artists eye, since I work on making models as well.
