At the pawn shop they didn't have much I was looking for that was new to their floor since last week but I did find:
Gamecube:
Die Hard Vendetta (C $3) Great condition

PC:
Splinter Cell Stealth Action Redefined (C $1)

I never got to play the first Splinter Cell for the PC so now is my chance. The discs are spotless except the third with minor scratches that shouldn't even reach the data. Also came with manual so I'm happy to have a new shooter to play with on here. However they no longer had that card RPG on the Gamecube that I've wanted for awhile that advertises "Prerendered graphics" and looks all colorful on the back. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

On a side note though they had a wieght bar and wieghts for $10 that came with 2x 25lb, 2x 5lb, 2x 2.5lb, and a 4 others of 5's and 10's. They looked so good I couldn't pass it up, all I need now is a good weight bench. :D

Picked up Gradius Collection for the PSP at EB Games for $19.99.
It was sort of brand new. It was the last copy and it was opened and the game was behind the counter but they still charged me for a new game instead of used. When I asked for a sealed copy the fucking employee coped an attitude. Last time I go to any EB store.

Should have said **** you and left. Why did you give him the money? I realize this is a game that will be underproduced, and become uncommon or possibly rare, but it's still a recent release. I'm sure you could have found it new at a different store.

Got more free crap last night:

2 PS1s - one is model SCPH-1000 (that supposedly Wikipedia says was only released in Japan @_@ ) and one model SCPH-9001. The 9001 works great, but the 1000 doesn't play any game discs... it freezes on the Playstation logo. Could there be any truth to the Wikipedia article?

They came with 2 controllers each.

2 Dreamcast controllers - 1 first party, and 1 blue AstroPad.

The cost? Nothing. :)

I have 1 PS1-compatible AV cable and RF switch, as well as one of those generic power cords... but I'm looking for more of them to go with these spare consoles.

Weird...since ours was called 1001....you very may well have a Japanese system in your hands...which explains why it won't read any of your US games.

Try an audio CD to make sure that the drive itself isn't fuxord. One of my debuggers which worked died that way and freezes just where yours does.

If its Japanese you'll notice that it says NTSC-J on the bottom ID label. However if the SCPH-1000 is correct that does go along with the Japanese systems. Japan had xx00 US had xx01 and PAL had xx02 model systems.

It's a 1001. I really should be more awake before looking at game stuff.

It's a US system with a nice clean parallel port for converters, but it has that notorious issue where you have to flip it over to get it to run.

Pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain.

Today at a church bazzar I picked up some Pokemon Emerald promo items. These are little kits that were apparently given out for pre-ordering the Emerald Version of Pokemon for the GBA. In the kit is an exclusive VIP online access card and a Frontier Battle Pass strategy booklet. They come in a green metal "Collector's" tin. I got 4 of them for a quarter each, plus the counter display box.

I haven't been on here in a couple weeks so I will post all of my finds so far in one big lump sum. It has been a very bad month, find-wise, so I might as well put it all in one and not clutter up the place with shitty finds that bump better finds by other people. Here it is for October:

-Nintendo Game Cube memory card (third party): $3
-Universal RF Cord (PS2/X-Box/Game Cube): $2
-Sonic 2 for Game Gear (loose): $2
-NBA Jam (original) for Game Gear (loose): $2
-Tiger Game.Com (original, unboxed) with one game (some puzzle game) and the system owner's manual: $5
-Street Hoops for Game Cube (complete): $8
-Super Wrestlemania for Super NES (loose): $2
-WCW/NWO World Tour for N64 (loose): $2
-WWF Attitude for N64 (loose): $2

I actually passed up quite a few common PS1 and Game Gear games that were worth no more than the amount listed on the price tag, they were bad games to boot.

Only one find today. Not many sales due to the cold weather. I did manage to find a CD-i 450 with 8 disks. The system is complete except for the packing materials in the box. It has an extra controller and the games that it came with are: Compton's Encyclopedia (pack-in), International Tennis Open (pack-in), Mystic Midway:Phantom Express, Burn:Cycle, Kether, Laser Lords, The Palm Springs Open, and The Lords of the Rising Sun. Palm Springs Open is missing the book and a couple others are missing the cardboard outer box, but not a bad deal for $15.

Stuff for today:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v93/Kuros/findsesd.jpg

All 7 Chronicles of Narnia Books - $1
Diablo and Myst strat guides - $1
Mario 64 and Conker - $3
Castlevania SOTN, RE Survivor and Castlevania Chronicles - $10
Naruto Demo Disk - Free
Kirby, Big Brain, Paper Mario, 2 Gundam Wing box sets and Black Sheep - $30

Not pictured because I used them for trade bait:
Looney Tunes Back in Action (ps2) - $1
Vex - $1
Pokemon Silver - Free
Motocross Mania 3 and PS2 Memory Card - $5

I drove around for a while and didn't hit up many garage sales, but got to a few. Got shut down at a couple but got the books and the stuff that wasn't pictured at garage sales. I added in a couple of things that I got for free for trade bait and got roughly $50 in credit after the 40% extra at my work. Put 5 down on a reserve and put the rest on my Wii reserve.

The N64 games were from the swap meet. From a guy who I've purchased off of before.

Early in the day at work, this guy brought in the PS1 games to trade in, we don't take them in anymore so I offered $10 for them and he bit.

The rest of the items were from the B2G1 sale at GS. Combining that with some other discounts, I got those 6 items for $30.

Excellent day. :D

Went looking around some seedy pawn shops last night, came away with:

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (brand new, sealed)
Winback: Covert Operations (N64, cart only)
Metroid II: Return of Samus
Battletoads/Double Dragon (Genesis, like new/complete)
Super R-Type
Super Punch Out
Medal of Honor: Frontline (PS2, like new)
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (PS2, like new)
Half-Life (PS2, like new)

$45 well spent. Probably would've found even more stuff if I had the time, particularly at this one shop; I could waste a whole afternoon going through all their crap.

£25 for the Xbox Live! Beta Debug Kit which needs a new power board fitting (sorry about the bad pic). Apparently this debug kit came from Lucasarts. Should hopefully get it up & running soon, just trying to sort out a Ver 1 PSU for it.
