I've seen it a few times. Its got that paper slip cover like PREY and is one of those over sized metal tins. One of the doors is Blue, the other Red (Smackdown... RAW). I've looked at it, but am not remembering what was 'special' about it other than there was some kind of Wrestling DVD packaged in it.

We have three in our Gamestop, I can give you the Gamestop SKU tomorrow night if you haven't got it by then.

Edit:

HA! 200230! I was able to bamboozle the official image off Gamestop's site (don't ask ;) ). This is probably the best you'll get unless I check out a copy and scan it for you (we may still have a used one). Only problem with this is that due to the limited release they never bothered putting up an image with the actual ESRB rating (the listing was most likely taken down the day the game was released).

The package itself is as PapaStu described it. Comes with an extra book (of wrestling trivia I believe) along with that DVD.





Also, with regards to Call of Duty 3. There's a version that has the soundtrack included. We'll rarely have it traded in here, I don't think this is from the Best Buy/Longest Day bundle but rather from Target and/or Wal-Mart. I'll see what I can dig up.

Well i have half of the games and i traded in 3 which i regret , because i should try to collect as many as i can

I just started collecting for the 360 (I don't own the system yet - but hopefully soon!)

I have 22 of the games, all sealed, all new.

The cool thing is, I haven't paid more than $22.49 + tax for any of them, and that was the only one over $19.99. (PREY Collector's Edition was the $22.49 game.)

I'm liking the fact that I'm able to build the collection on the cheap so far.

Now, if I can only get the system to play them!

Someone must have moved a coming soon display case down into the released section because I definitely saw it mixed in there and it was even price marked.

Looks like that soundtrack bonus is Walmart only. I was able to dig out the old listing for it:

On the one I saw in person, the cover had an orange "soundtrack cd included" label towards the lower right half of the case itself. I can't remember if it's a sticker or if it's actually on the insert.

The overall cover is slightly darker than any other version I've seen too.

You're correct, all Bullet Witches have both the poster included as well as a reversible insert (the Japanese cover is on the front and some artwork is on the back).

I have held new sealed Rainbow Six: Vegas Limited Editions in my hands at both Best Buy and Circuit City, so it was at least in those two stores.

I also bought my Gears of War Limited Edition at Best Buy, so it is not a GameStop exclusive (it's on the same receipt as my CoD3 Longest Day DVD set).

As for the origins of the THP8 Bonus Inside cover, I picked mine up used so I can't speak as to its origins.

I have held new sealed Rainbow Six: Vegas Limited Editions in my hands at both Best Buy and Circuit City, so it was at least in those two stores.

I also bought my Gears of War Limited Edition at Best Buy, so it is not a GameStop exclusive (it's on the same receipt as my CoD3 Longest Day DVD set).

As for the origins of the THP8 Bonus Inside cover, I picked mine up used so I can't speak as to its origins.

I wasn't positive about the Gears of War LE, and had no idea about the Rainbow Six: Vegas LE.

I'll make the adjustments to the list.

Now, if we can only figure out the TH Project 8 Bonus Inside Cover's origins!

Also, I forgot to mention Gamestop had a "Preorder Bonus DVD" for F.E.A.R. It comes in a separate DVD style case and on DVD. Outside of the case indicates its for pre-orders of both PS3 and XBOX 360 versions. Included on the DVD:

Is the slipcover for your R6:V LE a little larger than it should be? Mine's deep enough to hold the game case, plus an 1/8th inch or so extra that could have been intended for a little booklet or something. There wasn't anything else included, though, so the slipcover just caved in a little under the pressure of the shrinkwrap.

None of my other LE games are that way, but every R6:V LE I've seen around here has been the same. Just wondering if it was one batch or all of them.

Mine is the same way. If you pick up the game by the outer slip, the plastic case falls right through.

I picked mine up used at EB Games. I have yet to see it new anywhere retail. The only reason I knew about this version is that I saw it on IGN.

tetris evolution, earth defense force, UEFA championship leagues, virtua tennis 3, TMNT, armored core 4 are all out in stores today - some of them were released yesterday but shipping in my area sucked this week so they are not widely available until later today.

That puts the release numbers at 109 unique retail games and 52 unique arcade games (including hexic and the three BK games)

Not sure about the arcade titles, but where are you getting your 109 number?

Just curious as to what made your list or not.

From the previous post, you can see that there are 108 regular releases, plus the XBOX Live Arcade that you can buy at retail. Is this the 109 that you mentioned?

Also, there are 11 different Special/Limited/Collector's Editions out there, that involve packaging changes of some kind (eg. Call of Duty 2 was released as both "Call of Duty 2" and "Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year Edition.")

There were 9 exclusive retail releases, including the BK games.

Finally, there were 3 packaging changes (possibly more) for introduction into the Platinum Hits 360 packaging.

I'm not saying that my list is 100% accurate or even that it's what anyone should go by, but I'm trying to incorporate everyone's information into a master list.

For that to work, I need to know what you're counting/not including.

just an FYI i saw a variant for blazing angels today - when i was doing my rounds today I noticed a dark brown cover as well as a lighter grey cover side by side at circuit city today for blazing angels.

Same exact game just slightly different cover colors for each.

I consider a complete collection having one of every unique retail and arcade game.

I keep tabs on variants and different versions but in my personal collection I always buy the most limited version of a game (IE call of duty 3 day of defeat bundle, etc)
I actually dont count the xbox live arcade vol 1 as a retail game or an arcade game since they can be purchased separately on the market for 10 dollars more. Sure you get a retail case but i feel counting them as both a retail game and arcade game woulfd be like counting the same games twice.

I am very tired so i could have missed something but im not sure what your list is missing all i know is I counted my retail games twice in the last 30 minutes and came up with 109 retail games each time - the burgerking games I count as arcade games due to the MS rule that 1000-1250 achievement points = retail release, 200-250 achievement points = arcade release)

i just picked up like 20 new releases today for the various systems and have been gone most of the day so my brain is a little jumbled - i'd prolly do better off tomorrow or closer to the weekend though i still am not quite sure what it is I have that is putting me at 109 as opposed to 108
