[QUOTE=Slate;1143502]Man, Awesome find, How much would a factory sealed copy of Paper mario go for? I haven't any idea, But I know that it would go for a good amount.
50-75 dollars on ebay. I got mine for 50 sealed, and that was a good deal. I didn't think good will had any sealed games. How common is that?

Flea Market....Cold=Me Lazy
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/VictoriasBaptismMarch1807081.jpg
Two PS2 Controllers $10.00..
Plug N Play type games ..all for $20.00-the whole bag of them..(I call them,in the Shitter Toys:ass: )
Super Joystick TV Game?Super Joy..turned it on..76000 in 1 Games..WHAT!!(I've always wanted one of these.
Tetris..works
Bass Angler,Fishing Game..I didn't think this worked then I found out it takes two additional batteries in the handle itself.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Playstation System/old type with AV ports in back,Blue new type PS controller $10.00
Dreamcast Loose Deck.$10.00...
I found this with a pile of other systems..it actually had the AV and AC plug tangled up with other wires but I didn't pull them out.(Cold=Me Lazy)..Inside it was Sonic Adventure 2 that I remembered having an empty case at home for...I mainly bought the deck for that reason.
The first thing I did when I got home was look through my games and find the empty case.
N64 Decks $5.00 Each.(I've always wanted a colored deck and I just grabbed the black unit for it's plug and expansion pak.
Both Had all the controllers and hook ups mixed up in one big tangled web of wires so I just left that stuff,.(Cold=Me Lazy). The vendor attempted to pull the stuff out but was freezing his ass off doing it so I told him to just leave it.
A friend of mine goes to the same market..He picked up a Boxed Intellivision and games for $30.00...I don't buy the old stuff much as I usually take a loss when reselling.
He dug through the big tangled web of wires and got out some good SNES,plugs and worthwhile items.
Looking through a stack of games
Xbox Marvel Nemesis $7.00
PS/Planet Of The Apes $2.00
PS2 San Andreas..Original Copy.complete,mint.$7.00..I have this already but felt it's worth the $7.00(?)
Mattel Electronics Football original model $1.00
Drill Set $1.00
PS/PS2(?) Wireless Controller..I grabbed this for $1.00..Seems to turn on but I'm not sure if it's actually PS/PS2 or computer.
My Actual Finds Today are not in gaming items.
It's these two Tachs..$3.00 Each
I use these type tachs on my Pocketbikes to set the clutches...I was going to buy a Tiny Tach online..I think they range from $25.00-$50.00 but I bought an more expensive tack instead...
The Yamaha Tach I never seen before but works out nicely as my Pocketbikes are replicated to look like full size Yamaha bikes.

I stopped by a ratty, ratty thrift store on my way home from work today and found something for which I've been searching forever now. A Sega CD - more precisely, a JVC X'EYE (edit: for $9.50).
Excellent find! Always makes me happy when an JVC X'Eye is found cheaply. (mine was $2 + $1 years later for the AA-S95J power adapter) Now head over to my site (http://www.classicplastic.net/dvgi) and put a USA/JPN cartridge region switch in her. :)

Had a few fun finds at the local goodwill:
http://www.green-ranger.com/nes/finds/palpsx.jpg
saw the psx upside down in a pile of cordless phones, I wasn't too sure what was on sale today so I decided to put it in my basket just in case it was cheap, when i Picked it up I noticed it was REALLY heavy, and it did have both cords still attached , I looked around a bit more and found the shitty ps2 game the ff guide, the transformer thing was absolutley complete just in a beat box for 7.50 (we still sell the set for 20 good deal) the batgirl was only 5, anyways later when i was in line I inspected the psx a little closer, and it turns out its a Pal psx!, (which is strange since this is you know..LAS VEGAS) it had no pirce on it so the lady said 10$ and since anything plastic was half off, I got it for 5$
my expertise with pal is minimum, I understand they have a differnt video output , but they also have differnt cords, I assume I can't just replace the powerr cord witn a us cord and expect it to work? ie what would I need to get it to work on us current?
oh yeah disk 1 of ff7 pal was in the system as well ;-) I have a few pal ps1 games that i've wanted to play (i used to just use my modded psx, but i'd like to play them on this if I could)
the greatest shits castlevania my friend picked up for me at work, awile ago I lost my copy of dawn of sorrow, but I retained the box/manual fortuatnly the "cart" is the same in the greatest shits version so I can just toss the box, so the game is once again complete, yay for me (just have to play throuhg it 7-8 times to get back to where I was)
the pokemon thing was from my friend's work as well.

Blitzwing256, does that Castlevania: DoS say Konami's Best at the top? I think that's kind of cool, how a third party is releasing their own rerelease budget series in the U.S. finally (Japan's been doing it for years).

Finally a decent bulk buy of games from a store. I haven't stumbled across much since last year.
Genesis:
Tiny Toon Adventures: Busters Hidden Treasure
Mickey Mania: Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse
Tinhead
Spider-Man
NES:
Bugertime
Tombs & Treasures
Everything was $1 each, great conditioned boxes and manuals, carts are splinded. Tiny Toon was the only Gen title missing the manual.
I was actually tipped off to go to this store after a friend told me he got some stuff there earlier this week. He grabbed Secret of Mana (SNES), Kings Quest V (NES), Final Fantasy (NES), Star Tropics I & II (NES) and a several other games loose for $1 each. I'm going to trade for his KQ5 since I've been wanting that for awhile, but he's happen to get SoM for such a great price. I'm hoping this is a turning point in the markets and if it is there may be some good finds on the horizon!

Mario Party 6 for, obviously, the GameCube. I was disappointed in its arrival somewhat. I knew there was no microphone as the guy's Half.com listing for it said that, but he failed to mention that this also comes with no instruction booklet and no outside artwork. I'm most disappointed in the latter. It's my first GC game with no outside artwork so it's going to look blah on my shelf. Anyone got an extra?

Thank you. I must confess I hardly go to EB these days and haven't been to one in months. And there's no GS around here. I did go to Nintendo Power's online store and found they had the instruction manuals so I ordered that and a 2-disc case...I figure I can put Mario Party 4 and 6 in one case and just have the art for MP4 there...of course, I'll know that MP 6 is also in there. If I never get the artwork to MP 6 I can probably live with this solution. :sob:

The PC stuff on the left was from the swap meet and the DAV store. All of the SNES, NES and console crap was from a Craigslist ad. The guy had a simple ad and I called him up and asked to see if it was still there, he's like "yea, there's a large box still sitting here."
I asked where he was at and it turned out that he was in El Cajon, which is a 45 minute drive from me. A bit far, but why not?
When you see the final price, it was well worth it.

No no no, the amperage is QUITE different. Read this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20684) carefully. A Genesis 2 power supply is underrated by .65A. You can give it more than the 1.5A it wants as circuits draw amperage, they only take what they need - but less is bad. Purchasing a universal power supply soon that outputs 1.5A or more would be a wise idea.

Ah, I see. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't know the X'Eye drew it's power at 1.5A, and not 850mA.
I'd really like to have the original JVC part in that case since I have the original JVC controller - just to keep everything original. First stop: that same thrift store where I got the system. Maybe they mistakenly threw it in one of those areas where they keep all thier PAs and cords.

A friend from work had mentioned he had a bunch of transformers in his closet he didn't want, so He brought them to work that day and I purchased them from him for a VERY good price, he also "threw" in a bunch of "old crappy video games" he didn't want anymore, so I was a very happy camper (all games are complete with everything, the n64 boxes are a little rough but still complete) and none of them are the shitty majesco releases.

almost every figure is complete and dead mint (starscream is rough and missing 2 missles and jetfire is missing the gunclip) the boxed prime is never removed from the box and emaculate, and the loose prime is the very rare first release with differnt fists and a differnt gun, the swoop is unbroken (the only piece i needed for my personal collection) so i'm a very happy camper with both piles, especialy for the price I paid, what makes it even nicer is he'll be bringing me the systems later in the week along with all the controllers and wires :-)

Non-Video GAme find, but a great Goodwill find.
I went to Goodwill after church today since I haven't stopped by in almost a week. No games but went back to the toys and I think an old guy must have died as there were close to 40 model airplane sets in boxes there. $1 for the smaller ones and $5 for the really big ones.
All of them still had everything sealed in the baggies and never removed, about 8 of them were still factory sealed.
One is an SR-75 Penetrator by Testors that sells for about $80-$85 by itself, another Revell one that sells for about $60-$70.
I ended up buying about 20 of them, I might keep some to play with possibly. Total damage was $45 for all 20 of them, checking ebay values on the best 4 was $220 for the best 4, the other 16 only another $180 more.
Not bad though, I thought it was neat, a few other ladies there were buying some of them and I didn't get a good look at what they bought.

For the first time in 6 months, the flea market was open. If the luck I got this week continues, this is going to be an awesome summer.
I started off small getting Mappy-Land (NES) for $2, not the best deal, but I wasn't sure if I was going to find anything better.
Next I found some PS1 games for $1 each:
Heart Of Darkness
Intellivision Classic Games both are complete with great looking discs, but they got syrup or something on the cases.
Also got Fisherman's Bass Club (PS2) at the same place for $1.
Finally, I noticed a few Genesis, SNES, and PS1 games at another vendor, when she said $1 each, I started picking a couple out. I got t o 10 that I wanted, so I offered $15 for everything, so I got:
SNES:
Clue with manual
NHLPA Hockey 93
NHL 96
Super Play Action Football
Super Bases Loaded
Cyber Spin
The Adventures of Batman and Robin
Super R-Type manual
Genesis:
Jungle Strike
The Adventures of Batman and Robin
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
Paperboy 2
Mega Bomberman
Sonic & Knuckles
6-Pak
Mortal Kombat 2
Vectorman
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Box art for Tiny Toons: Buster's Hidden Treasure
2 blank cases
PS1:
Cool Boarders 3: case, game and back paper
RE 3 Nemesis: disc with empty case
Bottom of the 9th '97: games, case, no back paper
Twisted Metal 2: Manual and disc
Rampage World Tour: game and manual, no back paper
Spyro Ripto's Rage: game and manual, no back paper
Twisted Metal 4: complete
Mortal Kombat Trilogy: disc only
The X-Files: 4 discs only
Not bad, now if the garage sales will start, I'll be really happy.

I got all of this for about $100. My spring break would have been better had my apt not been burglarized. I lost 14 ps2 games, but it could have been worse.

I made a semi-ridiculous purchase, but it was only for a dollar, so I thought I'd oblige. In a Cash Converters, I happened upon Issue #19 of Nintendo Power, the ONE issue that I've been missing from my classic collection! So I jumped right on it, and... yeah. Pretty neat.
As for actual games, this has been a slow month. My money's been exhausted from purchases made over the last two months, so I'm taking it light.

I got Bubble Bobble, Bomberman, Kung-Fu and Super Mario Bros. 2, for a buck each. I also picked up a random french CD just to round out the cost. Most of the vendors didn't bring anything interesting today. :(

I feel really one-upped when I get 1 or 2 games and then I look and see others bringing home a gazillion games at once. In the mail today, for instance, came a single game for my Nintendo DS:
Puyo Pop Fever
I recently got the GameCube version and thought it would be one I'd enjoy having a portable version of. This gives me an even 10 DS games...
