    Default Nintendo Conference 2008

Well, the new DS has its own thread, what about everything else?

    Sin & Punishment 2!
    Punch-Out!
    Mario & Luigi 3!
    A New Wario Ware!
    Trace Memory Wii!

And that's just the Japanese conference. There's one set to begin in the US soon. It looks like Nintendo is trying to make up for E3.

    Discuss!

Punch Out makes me extremely happy. I think it would be cool if they added the original arcade version as an on-disc bonus.

I believe they said in the Japan conference that we'll be able to play DLC off SD cards for the Wii, as well as easier transfers between the Wii's internal memory and SD cards. So a storage solution for the Wii through a firmware update is some of the best news so far today, imo.

If this is true, that's great! Just in time for games like Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2!

They also need to announce a 1st party wireless nunchuck. I am a little upset about this oversight by Nintendo. Also, a Wavebird replacement would be nice. I still love you Nintendo but our honeymoon is over...............I WANT ACTION!!!!

I JUST registered my LONG list of games on Nintendo.com, I hope I get some Club Nintendo points or stars or whatever they are giving....

And they should because their E3 press conference sucked for hardcore(or should I say "core") gamers. But these were some pretty good announcements and I need to find a copy of Sin and Punishment 1 to cetch up. Furthermore, I'm glad that Club Nintendo is FINALLY coming here. Now we don't have to pay those crazy ass import prices to get the good stuff

Not really sold on the new DS (perhaps because I just upgraded to a Lite last month), but it has piqued my interest. Otherwise, a great conference, with some great titles I'm interested in. Punch-Out, in particular, since it looks so much like a cartoon, as it should be. I am so stoked about Club Nintendo finally arriving in america. Finally, the Gamecube "Wii-makes"... should be interesting to see how they're recieved, as well as how they're priced.

Add the fact that its getting stronger 3rd party support from:

    Tales of Symphonia 2
    Disaster: Day of Crisis
    Fatal Frame 4
    Tenchu 4
    Conduit
    Mad World

The Wii will be more of a contender with the 360 and PS3. The next few years will be interesting in deed.

Okay, I think the new DS is gonna be a must-buy for me, even though my old launch DS fatty is still pulling its weight 3 1/2 years on.

But the games: SHIT yes! Mario & Luigi 3 in particular. 'I HAVE FURY!'

Yeah, club nintendo will be cool, as long as it A) counts stuff we've already registered, and counts incoming GBA games and stuff still and B) has good stuff.

What have they offered america so far? a metroid prime 2 demo and some kirby styluses?

Well, Disaster and Fatal Frame are 1st party, and they still haven't been announced for NA. Hopefully it's just a scheduling thing and they'll slot them in somewhere next year.
