Ok fine
Another $10 "box o' crap" from Computers for Kids yardsale. Red Baron, Elite, and Telewar II are Amiga, everything else is DOS. It was cool to find a boxed Soundblaster 16 and the ISA video card since I'd love to find a 486 game for PC gaming and those are good pieces for a build. Threw in a dusty Competition Pro joystick and NBA Live 97 because they looked sad sitting on the shelf

wow its hard to believe that ISA was something to advertise as a feature...
Late January / Early February finds round up...
From GameXChange
ADVENTURE ISLAND II (NES) $7 - Needed a copy. Didn't cost a fortune.
ZELDA II: THE ADVENTURES OF LINK (NES) $7 - Ditto.
From Goodwill
GAMECUBE CONTROLLER $3 - I've needed a second Cube controler for AAAAAAAAAGES. Glad to find one in such good condition for so little.
JAK & DAXTER: THE PRECURSOR LEGACY (PS2) $1 - Mismarked. There was another copy priced at $4. I don't really care about Jak & Daxter, but for a buck I took a shot. The disc wouldn't read when I tested it, but I ran it through the SkipDr and it worked flawlessly.
ZONE OF THE ENDERS (PS2) $4 - Saw Konami and Hideo Kojima on the case and couldn't grab it fast enough. Turns out this is a pretty common game, a PS2 launch title. Also, it turns out that its basically Mobile Suit Gundam the game. It seems kind of cool.
DISNEY'S ALADDIN (SNES) $5 - Was surprised to find a pile of not-sports SNES games for once. Felt they were all a little too over priced, so I only grabbed two. Aladdin was a no brainer.
X-MEN: MUTANT APOCALYPSE (SNES) $5 - I went back and forth between getting this one, or Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures. Kind of wish I went with Pac-Man, as this game is kind of a weak beat-em-up platformer.
From Gamestop
MADWORLD (Wii) $3 - Curious about it. 3 bucks.
GLORY OF HERCULES (DS) $3 - Found these DS games in the Gamestop bargain bin, they really seem to be unloading DS games right now. Managed to dig out these three JRPGs for decently low prices.
LUFIA: CURSE OF THE SINISTRALS (DS) $7 - Surprised to find this in the bargain DS games, never played a Lufia game before.
SANDS OF DISTRUCTION (DS) $5 - Didn't actually know this was an RPG when I bought it. Saw SEGA logo, and took a shot.

Mega Find!
I found;
Mr. Driller 2 for gba. Fun and reminds me of rasculls for xbla.
Guardian Legend for nes. Free with mr driller at 9 dollars.
Wizards and Warriors for gb for 2 dollas.
And I found a better looking copy of Sonic Classics for the genny. 5 bucks.
Oh and I dont think I posted yet that I finally got another Intelligent Qube for ps1. This one is complete and like new. So happy. And it was only 35 bucks. I did better with the first IQ at 10 bucks but that one didnt have the back art and the manual was messed up. This is one of my favorite ps1 titles.
Not much lately. Very good deals nonetheless, VHS and subtitled is still worth it for classic anime.
$5 Transformers Energon Ultimate Collection (DVD). No outer box.
$2 Mobile Suit Gundam The Movies (VHS). With outer box.
Lum fan.
A few games came into a local Salvation Army...
All of the shelves went three rows deep, but unfortunately there were no hidden treasures. A bunch of common games and a lot of repeats of titles, as if they were from a distributor, though only a couple of items were new. I did find a 2CD Beatmania IIDX 6th Style soundtrack for $1.99 though.
PLEASE tell me you did not strand Xbox Azurik and PS2 Britney's Dance Beat! Those titles r teh l33trarez!!
I did spy a Monster Rancher 3 in that picture. Unless there's an obscure PS1 game in that mess, that looks like the only title I'd walk away with. I love how they took 3 games and packing taped them to the shelving unit. Stay classy Salvation Army.
As for my finds, this morning I snapped up a PS3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 "used" for $12.99 from Meijer. I JUST missed a sale where they had B1G1 50% off on titles priced $19.99 or less. I found a 3DS Scribblenauts Unmasked but had trouble sourcing a 2nd title. I ended up grabbing a Monster High game to use as birthday present fodder for the 7yr old but halfway across the store I decided to price scan them and I didn't see it pop up that they were on sale still so I trucked all the way back to electronics and put them back. I figure before too long I'll be able to find Scribblenauts Unmasked all over for that price so I can just wait it out.
Last week I snagged Lollipop Chainsaw (XB360) for $10 and Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage (PS3) for $6 from Half Price Books. They also had a clearance Dead or Alive 5 guide for $5 that I grabbed.

I rarely ever find anything interesting at the thrift store and don't even find much in the way of meh parting gifts even so it was a rather pleasent surprise finding these games at 2.50 each. Before this I want to say the last time I had a good find at the thrift store was about 3 years ago. Parasite Eve is the only game missing it's manual and all of the disks are in mint to near mint condition.
Sheesh. That's a heck of a haul.

@FOnewearl - How are the Galerians games? I've had a shot at the first one <$10 lots of times, but never bit due to being uncertain about it.
I picked up a gently used, CIB Pokémon Y today, including the Y-exclusive Mega Stones and promo Torchic, for $20. I'm moving what I can into my copy of X, and giving this to a friend at work (he also gets the Torchic as I've already got one). He brought his entire family to our last StreetPass Evansville meetup, and was very patient with me and the other admins as we ran around like crazy people.
I believe that merits a free 3DS game.

Thanks at this rate it'll be another 5 years before I find anything worth mentioning (let alone overall as good as this haul) at the thrift store. I did get a little carried away with the Legacy of Kain games and was on the fence about getting all of them but figured for the ones I already had that they would mostly likely be in better condition then any that I previous bought used in the wild.
Unfortunately I haven't played Ash or the original one on the Playstation which I've had for a number of years, I'm so far behind that I'm just getting around to finishing Mario 3D World which I picked up around Black Friday and meant to get to playing right away.
I know the feeling. Wii/RPG backlog says hi.

Zelda Spirit Tracks complete
Prince of Persia nes
All for 39.00 its less than retail. No steals but still I have been looking for these for a while. I have the zelda one sealed, but refuse to open it. So now i have a copy i can play.
Got three Xbox's for $50 this week, two have sticky trays but all work, with cords and controllers and a copy of Halo.
Best lot I have gotten in a long time. It was a busy couple days negotiating this one. Note that the Earthbound and Tales of Symphonia were in separate deals from the rest.
