"A customer can take their used disc copy of an Xbox One title into any store as long as the store has ”agreed to Microsoft’s [terms and conditions] and more importantly integrated Microsoft’s cloud-based Azure pre-owned system into its own,” according to MCV. Once the game disc has been registered on the store’s system it will be wiped from your Xbox Live account, meaning that you can no longer access the game.

The retailer can then sell the game for whatever price they like, however, unlike before where retailers got to keep 100 percent of the resale, Microsoft and the game’s publisher will now get a cut of the sale with retailers keeping the remaining money."

Sorry, but if I were a retailer that made money on used games, I would carry as little Xbox One stuff as possible. Microsoft's trying to screw over both the middle man and the consumer, but it's the former that they're more likely to change for.
