If the board is so small and crappy, then why do you care about a poll so much? It's his board and he doesn't HAVE to run it as a democracy. I see your point but this all seems a bit petty, don't you think?

If he's not going to run it like a democracy, then why bother polling? Why not just do whatever he wanted without telling anyone? And I don't care about the actual poll; I care about his attitude in running his board. He asks for advice, and is given advice by people trying to help him out, and he ignores it. He lost an admin over his behaviour with that and in general. It's like he opened the board just so he could be the boss, which is stupid.

Now I just argue with him for my amusement

That is not the advice I was talking about. Others offered advice on other things which he ignored. But it doesn't matter. It's his board, so he can run it into the ground if he wants.
