Diddy Kong Racing. 'Nuff said.
Anyway, I'll share my Gamecube story as well (I know is had no chance to get in the guide, but I want to share why I hate the Gamecube).
Around the summer of 2001, I was reading about Gamecube at Nintendo's website, thinking it'll be the best thing since sliced butter. Then November came, and no matter how much I complained about how lame the N64 was compared to Gamecube (I was a blind fanboy, and the N64 was automatically lame because it was now old), my parents refused to buy me one. They where considering a PS2 more because it's backward compatible with PSX (Good...but I have an N64, not a PSX), but because of how much my sister & I argued over which is better, so they desided they won't get either one.
I didn't get one for Christmas or even a GBA (At least I got Super Smash Bros. for my N64). I asked every year (Even the year they had the $80 system bundle that had the Zelda compliation).
In 2005, I desided to save up my money and get a Gamecube, and by December, I had won a Gamecube on eBay for only $60. Although I only had Luigi's Mansion, I eventually added on Super Smash Bros. Melee. But things took a turn for the worse...
In January 2006, I bought Super Mario Sunshine, and everything changed. The game was so shitty...so stupid, I was back to the N64 in no time. I held out and tried Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, but it was worse (Piss-poor camera compared to Dreamcast version). I just couldn't find anything I liked for Gamecube other then SSBM and Zelda, because most everything else was better on other systems (Phantasy Star Online, Sonic Adventure, Lego Star Wars, Soul Calibur II, Resedent Evil 4, etc.).
Later that year, I sold the Gamecube to my sister along with all the games & controllers for the same price I paid: $60. The money went towards more PS2 & Dreamcast stuff.
However, I bought a Wii in April 2007, and took back my Wavebird and SSBM, and started to build up the very few GCN games I like (Mainly the Zelda games and PSO). I still stand by the fact the Gamecube had very few games worth playing (N64, Sega CD, Odyssey2, 3D0, and CD-i all had more then GCN)
