I can assure you, there are several copies of the proto out there and I know for a fact at least one copy has been properly preserved. I don't see what that has to do with your unreasonable demand that the owners make it available for you and everyone else to download for free.

There is nothing wrong with asking and there is nothing wrong with saying no if you are asked.
