So, I'm sure we've all dealt with our fair share of less than intelligent buyers while selling stuff on Ebay. I know I've gotten plenty of people who simply couldn't be bothered to read auctions correctly before bidding (Hey this is for PSP I wanted PS2 waaaaah), but a recent auction of mine completely boggles my mind. I'm convinced that this buyer simply can't see, or is completely colorblind, and this is apparently my fault.
So a week or so ago, I list the following auction for a copy of Boogerman for SNES : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESO:IT&ih=015
The guy wins, sends payment, I send, everything's hunky dory. Or at least I thought so.
Yesterday, I receive this "question" from the buyer: "why does the item show a blue case when its gray?"
I'm completely dumbfounded by this. There's no such thing as a blue SNES cart (I think there was only Maximum Carnage which came in red, and Killer Instinct, which came in black, though correct me if I'm wrong). And of course, the auction clearly shows a gray cart. So, I send him a response saying pretty much exactly that, and that I don't really understand his question.
So I check Ebay this morning, and find that the guy left me positive feedback, with this ever-so-intelligent comment: "shows the case as blue, received grey, already have grey one, why we purchased."
I'm glad that he at least left positive feedback so as not to somehow find a way to turn this into an actual issue, but I just figured I'd share this ridiculous story of ebay idiocy with you guys.
