Not to take this thread too far off track, but since everyone else is confessing their love for SMRPG, I thought I would do the same. In fact, not only do I love the game, it is my favorite game... yes that's right, of all time. I'll admit it's largely due to nostalgic reasons, but it was the first game I really wanted and I've played it more times than I can count. I don't see it much where I live, about twice a year, but it's always nice to see how popular it is.

So Daryll tipped my hand for the day. Mike was there today, reports of 300-or-so NES games including 90-or-so boxed games were part of the deal. This was one of "those days" though, where Daryll's big trade-in was a major part but not the whole story of the day.
Wii System (loose) - Everything but the box. Amazing how a system 2 years old is still an interesting trade-in.
NES Collection (various) - Pictured above while still packed in boxes, There were approximately 300 games, 90 of which were boxed. Mostly common but many popular titles as well. Contra, Chiller, Castelian, Rainbow Islands, Donkey Kong Classics, Tyson Punch-Out!!, Super Dodgeball, Mega Man 2, 4, 6, Final Fantasy, a 110-in-1 multi-cart, Bible Adventures (boxed), Contra (boxed), Ghosts n Goblins (boxed), Bionic Commando (boxed).
NES Arkanoid w/controller - I'm not sure if this was part of the lot above or separate, we had a couple of NES trade-ins.
Super Famicom & N64 Imports (loose) - A random mix of cartridges from Japan. Included Momotaro, Puyo Pop, Pilotwings 64.
SNES Game Lot (loose) - A dozen or so loose cartridges including Zelda Link to the Past, Super Mario World, and Super Mario Kart.
I could picture Mike going, "what...the crap..." as the flow of boxes made it to the store.

Thursday.
Decent sales day but very light on trade-ins. In a way, that's good, as it helps us catch up a bit, but as you might have guessed I'm a fan of trade-ins. Only one worth mentioning today.
NES Game Lot (loose) - About two dozen NES games, all good titles. Includes Super Mario 3, Tyson's Punch-Out!!, the "other" Punch-Out!!, Baseball Stars, Bubble Bobble, Castlevania, Turtles Arcade, Metroid, Gradius and more.
Hey Joe,do you take trade in on Arcade Machines(two)
I'd like to trade in-sell my 2 slot Neo Gold cabinet, the wooden one..(works greatr, has almost new monitor, new sticks-buttons and CP overlay.
Wood needs some work-was broken into on location..(most covered up)
Also the mini Klax cab...Original Galaga cabinet, top marquee under the Klax is still Galaga..lots of bottom of machine parts inside still Galaga
I bought it as converted to MK..found out later it was orinally Galaga, but I can't afford to restore it..
very solid-heavy little cabinet..
New Klax overlay, coin door lock works
The game works but it could use a monitor as it has it's original 13" in it..
Plays well enough for my wife to play it,reason why I made it KLAX..
BOTH CHEAP!!!!!
Saturday.
First of all, a bit of housekeeping. A few days ago, I reported that we had gotten in a FEW Super Famicom and PS1 imports. That's the way it was reported to me (I was off that day). Today I got to look over that lot. This was a HUGE plastic bin loaded with games. Super Famicom games just off the top of my head included Final Fantasy V and VI, Super Mario Kart, Street Fighter, Final Fight, Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 and a few games that I have to research because they look cool but I can't identify them from the art and Japanese text. PS1 imports were loaded with great titles: Intelligent Qube, Arc the Lad, Final Fantasy VIII and XI, Gallop Racer 2 and 3, Winning Post, Tobal No 1, Biohazard 2 and at least 50 more, again, some of which look really cool but I have to research. So this was badly reported and should be mentioned here as an addendum.
Game & Watch Goldcliff (loose) - In awesome condition, this is actually the very first time a Game & Watch has been traded in here.
Game & Watch Donkey Kong 3 Vs. Micro (loose) - Also in excellent condition, this one may stay with me at home. Both systems needed batteries! Fortunately I know the customer rather well, so they'd BETTER work
SNES Game Lot (loose) - Good stuff in a pile of games included Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario All-Stars, and the (rarely traded) Space MegaForce, among others.
Because it doesn't need to be. Stickies are for threads that are time sensitive (contests, fantasy leagues, even birthdays) or need to be seen by new members (introductions, forum rules). For regular members, stickies just clog up the front page. A topic like this, of all things - which is updated and thus bumped almost daily - certainly doesn't need or warrant a sticky.
I hope this adequately explains our site policy.
Adequately enough.
No disrespect intended, I rather enjoy reading this thread, I was just being lazy and hoping it could get stickied at the top instead of me having to hunt for it every time I drop by the site. Thanks for correcting me.
At any rate, nothing to see here...move along people.
