    Default Yardsales 8-7-09

Super Mario Sunshine (No Instruction Manual, PC)
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness (Complete)
    2 Different Pac-Man Glasses

    $7

Got to this sale right at 8 as it's the same place that I got some Playstation, Saturn & PS2 games at over the last few years, they had GameCube games as part of the advertisement which was new this year. They still had a ton of said games left over from previous years as I expected. Glasses were .50 each and I offered $6 for 2 games (they were asking $5 each).

    2x NESes & 2x 2600 controllers - $2

2nd sale today saw this marked for $2. This sale was also running on Thursday so I was surprised these lasted, maybe they just got put out on Friday or nobody was interested without any wires on Thursday even if they were dirt cheap.

    x2 NES Controllers
    Super Mario Bros 3
    Tetris (Tengen Version)
Legend of Zelda, The (Gold In Plastic Case With Manual & Map)

    $7

Asked about games at this sale, girl mentioned a brother who didn't live here but just happened to pop out the door as he just stopped by (he lived just down the street). He mentioned having some "doubles" and I came back about 20 minutes later. When I got back the brother was gone and I was told he was asking $40 if I was interested in all of them. It was just over 20 games & 6 controllers. I picked out what I got and offered $5, after a little back and forth ended up at $7.

Just on a side note, did you know those glasses were originally sold at Arby's? Nothing wrong with that, I just thought it was an interesting factoid about them.

Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, boxed? It's worth like $20 loose, how much is it worth boxed?

I got mine for $6 loose a couple of months ago.

actually complete and pretty close to mint.

That one made my day but the sonic blastman II is pretty tough and it is complete, not as nice as Zero.

They were all around $8.99 each then I got my 10% off from my card, then got buy 2 get 1 free, and got extra tradein for my genesis/cd combo.

Who takes pictures aiming the camera one way while their feet are coming in from another angle? Either thats someone else's feet or he's a contortionist. I'm going with the former.

I don't know but maybe that's what led to the toe injury. :P

I think this is usually the point where someone just says "try not to get feet in your finds photos."

I found Japanese (WTF How the heck did these get to Texas??) copies of Space Harrier and Aerial Assault (Game Gear) for $1 each at a garage sale. The lady said they were her son's and she didn't have anything else with it. Makes me wonder how the heck some Japanese Game Gear games ended up in Texas all by their lonesome.
    *AHEM*

You should pay more attention to my finds, I've found Japanese PS1 and PC games, Russian PC games, and lots more stuff over the years.

That said, I'm back home! Expect some finds as soon as I get my ass to the flea market in oh, four hours. :P

Not sure. Its probably not worth more then $5. Not worth the hassle of shipping something like that and I don't have a paypal account.

Well, I hoped for a better garage sale day today (saturday) but I found A SINGLE ZAPPER.

    meh.

(But the zapper cost a dollar and it's mint in the original box. The zapper itself is in pristine condition so I'm not that disappointed)

I will be going to my local flea market tomorrow so I'm hoping for some good deals.
