I wouldn't doubt it, the thrifts around here still price everything video game-related at $3-4 dollars and hope that they move it soon. I found a nice complete copy of Knight of Legend (by Origin for the C64) for $2 this weekend. They had a whole bunch of edu-tainment games that didn't look very interesting, so I left them.

Went out of town this weekend and hit a few places. Only found a couple things:

    Dragon Tales for PS1 - $2
Sonic Mega Collection Plus for XBox - $3

Then I hit the 3 for $10 GBA sale at TRU:

    Yu-Gi-Oh Destiny Board Traveller
    Franklin the Turtle
    Thunderbirds
    Dead to Rights
    Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf
    Desert Strike Advance

Check out your local TRU, the titles vary by store and the sale goes through 12/20.

Bought a "Few" games from a fellow local collector.
He was selling off a chunk of his stuff, as he's getting his first house.

    grand total of:
    3 Wii
    27 Xbox 360
    2 Snes
    58 NES
    127 Xbox
    36 GC
    73 PS2

326 games total. Only a few duplicates, and probably no more than 5 sports games.

I have a lot of sorting to do, but I'm sure I'll have a trade list up in the next while.

I haven't bought too much lately because I still need to buy Christmas gifts. Anyway here's what I got:

2000 Wii Points Card for $20 - I used it to download Secret of Mana and Kirby's Dreamland 3.

Monopoly (Wii) for $29.99 - My sister and I got addicted to this game when we rented it, so I decided to grab a copy.

Spy Fox: Dry Cereal (Wii) for $22.99 - This a a port of some kids click and point adventure for the PC. It appears to be a spoof of James Bond. I also seem to recall that this game was recalled for some reason. Does anyone remember what that reason was?

SanDisk 4 GB SDHC Card for $19.99 - I picked this up on sale at Future Shop. I know that eventually I'm going to run out of space on my Wii, so I'd better get a SD card while it's cheap.

They used SCUMMVM on those Humongous Entertainment titles instead of doing their own ports. SCUMMVM's license does not allow it to be sold in any form.

Gah! The rareness! It blinds me!

Why am I not finding any good gaming stuff lately??? It seems everyone else is.

(I shouldn't be complaining, since I found those rare Beatles 4 tracks the other day and American McGee's Alice this morning)

/me crosses my fingers in hopes that I find some really really good stuff at the Goodwill dock sale tomorrow. I may even get a new picture hosting thingie if I find stuff that's cool enough.

If only I wasn't so broke. My local TRU shop doesn't carry GBA games anymore, they haven't for over two years.

Sega Queen: Well, the game uses ScummVM... not sure if they got permission or not, though.

    As for my finds:

Cherry Poppin' Daddies: Radio City Muscle Car (reprint cover) - $1
Pagan Dawn: The Selected Music of Medwyn Goodall and Clannad: Banba (two new age celtic type music CDs which I got curious about) - $2.50 for both
"4Mac" Discs 1 + 2 Mac Shareware CDs published by Aztech New Media - $2.50 for both
Belkin two port ADB to USB adapter, complete in box for $5 (and I find this the day after I give away my ADB keyboard!)
Icewind Dale (budget version, new in box, doesn't seem to have any manuals, just discs) - $2
Visual Basic 6.0 Professional CIB (?) Education version - $2
The Dark Knight BluRay Gift Set (with BatBike replica) brand new and sealed - $3 (for trade)

That VB6 set is worth around $200 on eBay. Yay I can pay my bills again. ^^v

Thanks.. I'm honestly just as surprised as you are.. I cover alot of ground when I go game hunting, and I have numerous places that I check on a regular basis, so I usually do pretty well.. but this was ridiculous.

Eh, went to Goodwill in Round Rock, TX.

I got the following PS2 games for $3.99:

    Orphen
    Destroy All Humans
    Harvest Moon: Back to Nature
Silpheed (can't remember which one, but it's an early PS2 release)

I also George Foreman's KO Boxing (NES) for $3.99 and a copy of Hook (NES) with a completely totaled backside for free. I pointed out to the cashier that I could use Hook, but it was seriously damaged and I asked her if there is any sort of discount for things with that sort of damage. She said I could just take it, so I'm not complaining. Half of the game's backside has been completely broken off, though the circuit board and the game's front is undamaged. The cashier probably figured that the game was useless. I wouldn't fix it if it was Captain Skyhawk, but I'll fix a R4. I will need to "borrow" the back part from a SMB/DH cart or something common with a totaled front label to fix it.

I also got 14 (yes you heard me right, fourteen) floppy discs for the Sierra game "Alien Legacy". It is basically 2 seven floppy disc copies of the game. Dunno what it's worth. Came with the bottom half of it's box and the instructions. That whole thing was $3.99.

Nothing else, really. I did get around to testing that 7.2" NGTV LCD screen that I bought a month or so ago. I'm so glad that it didn't need any major mods. I just cut the DIN cable coming from it and viola! It has composite AV in, mono audio in, 9v+ (I think. May need to test it with 6v.), and last but not least, ground. I was able to hook up AV since I had the spare RCA jack and raw cable sitting around. I watched a bit of silent RiffTrax on it with my PS2 . It's not as nice as the Voyager 7.2" LCD that I got a while back, though. It doesn't have a switch to go between 4:3 and 16:9 like the voyager one and the colors are a bit washed out. I also tried SMB 3 on it and it's quite easy on the eyes. Dunno what I'm going to do with this screen. Also, the screen has a fan in it (lol wut? Didn't think LCDs got that hot ).

Found a SEALED MINT Roll 'n Rocker at an overpriced video game store.

Get this?! They won't sell it to me because there are none on ebay to base the price on. REALLY? Killed me to leave it there. I offered $150 cash and they wouldn't budge. NO idea what they think it's worth.

so finds for me have been nothing special, not even willing to take a pic for them.

Stopped by a GameCrazy to resurface some discs and found that they had closed. They were in a Hollywood Video, though, so there were still some games around all 80% off. Mostly junk, but I did grab GBA Zone of the Enders and Tron 2.0 for a buck each.

I also picked up PS1 RE Directors (no manual, mint discs) for $8 and Omega Boost (CIB, also mint) for 5. I'll likely return the latter, as I already have it and so that is a bit high.

Today I grabbed SNES TMNT Turtles in time and Yoshi's Safari for 1.80 each, plus NES Quattro Sports for 1.80. I passed on RBI Baseball 3 and Bases Loaded 3 for the same price, because I couldn't remember what I have and don't have. Turns out I need BL3, but not RBI3. I've bought RBI games multiple times in the past because I couldn't remember which I had, and of course I already have them.

Hm. How is Omega Boost? I saw some screenies at MobyGames and it looks interesting enough to trade for it... ;D
