Hey guys,
I know this thread is old... but it's directly related to my simple question... hopefully someone out there has the answer.
I found an old Canon 150 AC Adapter... and as some of you know, has the same specs as a CDX AC adapter I believe. Now all I have to do is put the right plug/tip on the end of the new Canon AC adapter.
Here's the specs of the Canon Adapter:
Canon AD-150 AC Adapter Power Supply 9.5V 1.5A
Input Voltage: 120V~ 60Hz 30W
Output: 9.5V === 1.5A , + ----C---- -
Pin Type: Round Barrel
Pin Dimension: 2.0 x 5.4 x 9.7 mm approx.
Here's the specs of the Official CDX Adapter: (do they both match up perfectly?)
Sega CDX
9.5v DC, 1.5 A
neg --( o-- pos
Looks like the Polarity is switched... am I correct? Is there any way to change that with a new tip?
Does anyone know the Inside and outside Diameter of the CDX/Genesis 2/Game gear AC adapter tips?
here's some stores that sell what I THINK i may need... please let me know.
