Guess I will start this month off. Found this at Toys R Us for $12.99. I thought that was a steal.

FFFFFFFFFFFF I forgot it was September already! Noooooooooooooooo T_T
*copypaste from other thread*
Aha. Ahahaha. BWA HA HA HA HA!
FINALLY SOME GOD DAMN SCORES.
* Office for Students and Teachers was $1. It still had a $160 PRICE TAG on it. It's never been used (shrinkwrapped) but it's got a few tears in the wrap, and the security stickers are intact.
* Windows Vista Ultimate has two DVDs and the key. That was $5.
The finds:
Sakura Taisen (Sega Saturn, Japanese, complete w/spinecard)
Guardian Heroes (Sega Saturn, Japanese, complete w/spinecard)
The King of Fighters 97 (Sega Saturn, Japanese, complete w/spinecard)
Monkey Island Madness (Monkey Island 1+2)
Hackers Original Soundtrack, Hackers Vol. 2, Hackers Vol. 3, Xena Warrior Princess Original Soundtrack Vol. 1 + 2
All five music CDs and the three Saturn imports were $10! Monkey Island Madness was $1.
Too bad I can't play KOF 97 without a 4MB RAM cart. The Hackers CDs used to be very expensive the last time I checked, I am DAMN HAPPY to get the two I was missing (I already owned Vol. 2). Woot!
Okay, no these aren't all from September, but I haven't had access to a camera in a while, so I'm just going to put them all in one post. Here we go:

Salvation Army Goofy Kitsune finds:

T-Ana "Walking 2000" CD (China) - not quite as peppy, more Western influence. $2.00
"Lost in Space" VCD - terrible quality. I don't think it's a pirate, just crappy quality. $2.00

It's a good thing you just posted Deadman, since I just visited your local Play N' Trade. But not quite. The owner of the Plano store closed it down and moved closer to where he lived, over in Flower Mound. I found it on the company's website and hit the place today, and it turns out they've only been open for two weeks or so. Anyhow, I picked up a TurboGrafx-16 with a controller there. It was only $9.99 because there was no power supply. After looking at it, I realized that the video cable with it was for an N64/SNES/GameCube and not the Turbo, so he graciously knocked off another $5 off of it. I also bought a "Retro Rocks!" T-shirt and a boxed copy of Earth Defense for the Genesis for $2.99. Had a great talk with the manager and was really happy the place is fairly near my thrifting grounds up in Lewisville. I also came across another game store that I'd never heard of before, called Game Chop, over in west Carrollton. Nice shop, not much in the way of pre-NES retro stuff sadly.
I also bought a loose copy of Kenseiden and a boxed (no instructions though) copy of Ghostbusters, both for the SMS, for $3.49 each. And a loose Tomy Pocket Games Pachinko handheld for $1.49. I also picked up a boxed Coleco Talking Teacher handheld for $2.49.

Sounds like you got lucky on that one, because Rob (the owner/manager) truly is a nice guy and if you get to know him, he'll even keep his eye out for stuff that you're looking for. I need to get to the new store to say hi, but I haven't had the time yet. Good finds, too, as I would have snagged the TG for sure, if only for the second controller and some trade bait.
If you go by again in the near future, tell him "I'm on my way."

@Deadman:
Generally World of Warcraft games are useless used (possibly excluding collector's editions). Blizzard requires a valid license to run WoW, and it is registered with an account. I purchased mine in '06, but I remember it coming with the following: 4 discs(maybe 5, but I can't remember), a manual, a invite key for a friend, product catalog, and a paper with the registration key. Possibly more stuff, but I can't remember right now.
The box you got though is the Horde variant, which seems to be more uncommon. I never remember seeing them, so it is possible someone may want it for a few bucks. A few people sometimes want the discs too.
I have a sig?
I picked up Amiga CD32 from CL for $80. It is in great condition
(Photobucket link screwup so I have to delete them)
It came with TV attachment. I never knew such service exist. It only happens in Canada.
(Photobucket link screwup so I have to delete them)
On weekend I picked up
Forza 3 Limited Edition - $35
Tekken 6 LE with Arcade stick - $60 (not in picture)
(Photobucket link screwup so I have to delete them)

I haven't done any kind of looking of any kind lately. I just haven't been in the mood to.
I did happen upon a Time Ace for DS at Gamestop for $5 though. First thing in a long time.
"Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?"
$2 from goodwill:
Xmen Genesis CIB
Burning Force Genesis CIB
Bought on shmups forums:
Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku complete with obi and reg card
Darius Burst PSP (J) complete
Yesterday:
NES:
Adventure Island II - $9.95 (The "overpaid but I'm tired of looking for it" price)
PlayStation:
Contra: Legacy of War (complete) - $4.95
And a notable non-game find from Goodwill:
MST3K: The Gunslinger VHS - $1.99
Congrats on the CD32 ScourDX - I'd love to pick one up one of these days.
If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it!
>_> Lot sale today, I was digging through a tub of shitty audio CDs and looking me in the face was a boxed, FULL RETAIL version of Microsoft Office Standard 2003 with COA, key and everything.... I'm not kidding... I was charged $0.50 for it :P (Sorry to 1up you Kitsune.)
Okay, a few things, stopped by another Goodwill and picked up 2 new and sealed Genesis games, Vectorman 2 and F22 (some fighter pilot game of some sort with that in the title...). They're not worth quite as much as I hoped, but at $1.99 a piece I can't complain. It seems the new NES game market is a little more... active than the Genesis market. I spotted a really wacky looking FMV PC title called A Fork in the Tale, featuring Rob Schneider. It looks terrible and hilarious, perhaps both. Anybody heard of this one? That was $2.99, btw.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!
View my collection!
So today I returned to Half Price Books as it turns out I already have 4 of those Genesis games complete, so I didn't need them. They have a Labor Day Weekend sale of 20% off that happened to start today so I looked around some more and found:
Genesis (all loose but in great shape) $3.98 each
Alien Storm
Budokan
Earthworm Jim 2
Ghouls'N Ghosts
Might and Magic Gates to Another World
Phantasy Star II *** UP FOR SALE/TRADE ***
The Revenge of Shinobi
Streets of Rage
Sword of Sodan *** UP FOR SALE/TRADE ***
Sword of Vermillion
Technocop
Other stuff:
TopGear (SNES) - $3.98
Drakkhan (SNES) - $3.98
Magic Johnsons Fast Break (NES) - loose in a custom box (?) $2.00
NBA 2K (DC) $1.00
NFL Blitz 2000 (DC) $2.00
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (HD-DVD) sealed, new $3.00
Xbox 360 HD-DVD player (no cords) $9.98
Take 20% off all of this stuff and it was about $50 for everything.
***EDIT - Turns out I already had a couple of the Genesis games so they're up for trade. LMK if you're interested!***

That's odd. After seeing ScourDX's Amiga CD32 find (And congrats on that, ScourDX) I was thinking of a MST3k scene where Joel asks the robots if they'd seen his Amiga mouse and Crow says "There's a computer for you" And then I scrolled down and saw your MST3k tape.

Well this isn't something I bought exactly, but I did make it from things I bought...
I made this VGA-SCART cable this morning. My X-select D4 will transcode 480i component to 15khz RGB just fine, but it only outputs VGA type RGB signals (separate H/V sync signals) and not composite sync. So I wired up the H/V sync combined onto the composite video input pin, which works fine when it's run through a little JROK sync cleaner board in another part of my setup. No more VGA-BNC breakout cables and tons of BNC-RCA adapters, it goes into the SCART switch like everything else.
Picked up the guides for $5 a piece, not realizing that I already had DQVIII...oh well.
Nintendo World Cup (CIB) was $3.00
DK Classics was $11.00 (Missing Inserts).
