I had heard about these "Satellaview" games a while ago, and how they were only in Japan, but never figured they'd be playable on a legit SNES. Great news. Good work "Kiddo" on editing the header. Sounds like a translation patch will be just around the corner for some of these BS games (here's hoping - anybody?).

I'm curious, as I saw somebody posted a link (earlier on in this thread), which I'm definitely going to have to try on my powerpak!!

What I'm wondering is, has anybody managed to get "BS F-Zero" (aka F-Zero 2) to work on a PowerPak?? I know it exists, as I believe I've seen repro's available of it, and plays on an emulator, so I figure this is as good as spot as any to inquire. The ROM of it that I have won't play on my PowerPak - I'm guessing that's due to the header on the ROM that I have? (I'm not too technical, so this is purely a guess).

Thanks, and keep up the great work everybody. Amazing that there are still games like this out there, that are only now seeing the light of day. Awesome.
Before I answer the question, and without nitpicking anything else about your questions, I would like to give a reminder that The "BS F-Zero 2" ROM circulating around does not appear to be the entire thing, as evidenced by the NND video shown here.

But with that out of the way! ... How much ya willin' to pay? :3
    *coughcough*
But in all seriousness, yeah, The ROM also has a Satellaview ROM header which the Powerpak doesn't like. Hacking it to boot would be similar to hacking OB Club to boot - replacing the header with a standard SNES header. As I've previously booted up said ROM on my ol' Super UFO ROM Copier and my SFC Neo Myth there should be no problems running it.

Someday the Powerpak should just up and accept Satellaview ROMs, though.

    EDIT:

I've made a quick Satellablog article on this. Feel free to tell me if you think anything needs to be clarified.
