Well, I got time today to post my finds. Catching up from being sick steals wat too much time lately
$2 each for the Pass the Pigs games and the Saturn game, and $7 for the Gameboy. And this was also $2, but I have no clue what it's worth...
Is this thing sought after, o PC gurus of DP?
Yeah, Pass the Pigs is a silly game that uses pig 'dice'... and you score points based on how they land. It's novel, kinda fun, and sells for $10 with the box, $8 or so without. Nothing special, but 2 for 10 isn't hard math.
Ps1 games, Fear Effect 1 ($2) and 2 ($6). Silent Hill $15.
Also found a NES bundle for $14.99. Inside included...
16 games: Golf, Black Bass, Super Mario 2, Vegas Dream, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Adventures of Link, Tecmo NBA Basketball, Tetris 2
Tetris, Excitebike, 1942, Arkanoid, Tetris, Rad Racer, Donkey Kong Classics, Roger Clemens Baseball...
3 Game Genies, 2 GG books, and a few manuals for the above games. All the games had dust covers as well, except for two which had these instead:
PERMASTRUCT
Woah, wait wait- Are CIB Gameboy's actually worth something? I figured they were practically worthless as I see loose GBs being sold for £10 or less usually. I still have mine, boxed, instructions and everything. Not that'd I'd ever sell but it's nice to know it's worth something.
I reject your reality and substitute it for one of my own!
Nice Finds..
All I've found is SNOW...
I see loose Gameboy bricks for $25 all Christmas
Complete Gameboys are worth something, loose ones usually aren't. For loose ones you can sell them for around $10-$20 depending on condition(they have to be pretty much perfect and fully working) and somebody has to be looking for one. Usually it seems the people who want them are making chiptune music. I don't bother buying loose ones at all, not unless they come with a bunch of games and are cheap. Too many are damaged in some way so I don't want to risk buying them.
I didn't post my Monday finds because hey, no games were in there. But now there's games so screw it.
From Monday:
Stag Knight (DVD, new)
Caetano e Gil / Tropicália 2
Julee Cruise / The Voice of Love
Steamin' Schneeman & The Screamin' Demons / Hot Dog and Bun
Kenny Endo / Hibiki
Woody Shaw / Imagination
M.C. Hammer / Let's Get It Started
... For $4! $1 for the DVD, 50 cents for each CD! I'm psyched about having found that Julee Cruise CD. In case she sounds familiar, she's sung the theme song to Twin Peaks. So this CD is kinda like Twin Peaks: The Unofficial Sequel to the Soundtrack. :P
From today:
Chip White / Music and Lyrics - $1
Kinky / Kinky - $1
Frank Zappa / London Symphony Orchestra plays Zappa - $2
Alan Silvestri / Forrest Gump Original Score - $1
Vangelis / Portraits - $1
Pyst (brand new, slim box, box is crushed) - $3
Not pictured: Diablo Battle Chest (with Diablo 1, 2 and Lord of Destruction) for $5.
... and this was after spending TWO GODDAMN HOURS waiting to cross over to the US. On foot. I'll spare you guys the details. :P
Fun fact: It appears that the Vangelis CD is from South Africa, and this site seems to agree with me. How'd this end up in CALIFORNIA?
Another fun fact: Pyst features John Goodman. And he sings a song. Sadly, nobody's uploaded that to Youtube for some reason... but hey, this game can't be as bad as the original Myst.

StagKnight looks like a classic...
You should upload that to youtube if you want to upload something.

Sweet zombie Jeebus, what the fuck did I just watch...
So today's finds.
V/A: Ghost Dog / Way of the Samurai soundtrack
THE LORD AND MASTER, LYRICAL GENIUS Shaquille O'Neal / Respect
Dr. Jimmy McConnell Orchestra / Swinging -n- Grooving
Diablo II case with key (not pictured)
$3 total
Resident Evil for the Gamecube, mint - $8 (down from $10)
StarCraft - $2
Six comic books - $3 for the lot
She-Hulk vs Green Goblin, two random issues of the Slapstick miniseries, a weird self-mocking issue of Daredevil, and two comics with Master Liefeld on art. Yeah, worth it.
I already have Resident Evil so that one is going to replace my copy. Plus I bought a $3 scratcher and won $12, I bought another one and won a ticket... hope I get more money on my next lottery ticket. :P
OK today...
$2 each for Code Veronica and Alias, $1 for Armored Core, $4 for Devil May Cry 2, $5 for The Duke, .50 for Thomas, $1 for the lightsaber (both of those are for my avatar), $4 each for Prince of Persia and Conkers, $1 for Kid Kleets, $4 for Zombies Ate My Neighbors, $5 each for My Sims and Harvest Moon, $15 for Smash Bros, and $3 for EQ.
MySims is brilliant for what it is. I got very addicted to it when it first launched. The sequels not so much...
I received Harvest Moon for Christmas and I've yet to touch it :/

I sold few things out of my collection that I never played. Then I used the funds to order a copy of Tales of Hearts: CG Movie Edition from Play-Asia. Sure, I would have preferred to get the Anime version, but it never seems to go on sale.
I also found a disc only copy of Mega Man 8 (PS1) for two bucks at a thrift store. This is my first time playing a MM game, and it doesn't seem too bad so far.
I'm grinning big today
I didn't find a crate of sealed SMB's or anything like that. I just added massive amounts to my collection, and made a decent profit as well. The thrifts were meh today:
$6 for the Vsmile pocket. I have a few extra games already, and these get 20-30 with a few games. The board games were basically losers, although how could I pass on them? $5 for the pair. Couple of toys for the little guy for $3, and $4 for the N64 controller. Stealing the joystick to fix a gold one.
But the real find was at the pawn shops today. My (old) fave seems to be a little less easy with the prices then they were. So I was BSn with the employees, and they told me the managment switched stores. And the store the old bud of mine went to is full of overpriced games. Well, used to be overpriced. I couldn't make up my mind what to buy, then I spotted a milk crate full of everything in the next 2 pics but the NES and N64 games:
When I went to the milk crate, the employee handed me a small bin to hold games in. I left the bin on the counter with a dozen or so games
They came down to .50 each, except the N64 and NES games were $2, since I bought so much. Totaled $58.32. Didn't have a good chunk of em, and some htf guys in there too. Good times!
