I just got my replacement unit in the mail today.
Tested it with all my games and ..... FANTASTIC! NO SQUEALING!
I know that some of us have had a tough time getting through to Hyperkin during and post holiday-season, so I guess I was fortunate in getting through to them and the whole process being pretty painless.
