One HELL of a nice haul tonight.

With collecting, deals are ALWAYS 1% knowledge/skill and 99% luck. I don't think anything proves that more than this.

I'd been doting over a good 20 lots over the past week on eBay; all had some good stuff, but none were good enough deals for me.

Then, while waiting for one to end that I planned to bid on, I decided to throw in one more search just for the heck of it...

I found this, and bought it a minute later.

    Ninja Gaiden Shadow
    Double Dragon II
    Nemesis
TMNT Fall of the Foot Clan
    Dr. Mario
    Pac-Man
    Super Game Boy
    Nintendo GB Cleaning Cart

The total cost for the whole lot was about $22, which Ninja Gaiden Shadow ALONE can go for, and the guy even takes full-refund returns if they don't work (though to date I've only found a single GB cart I couldn't get working, and I haven't given up on it yet.)

So yeah, patience and luck is the name of the game. Of course, knowing/reasearching values quickly helps too since these never last long.

I picked up a PS2 with network adapter and some games today for free. Should be able to make some money off of it.

I hit the pair of county over flea markets a weekend ago and found all what I was looking for (2 SNES games) and luckily found 2 more, one a real gem to me.

I was on the hunt for some Mickey Mouse stuff, on one day I found one, and that was Mickey Mania and then found Magic Sword near by. The next day went out with ny nephew (who never been to one before looking for a game he wanted) and I found the other Great Circus Mystery (sequel to Magical Quest which not everyone knows since it was badly titled) and bam...4 games down from it, Spike McFang! Paid over the 2 days $60, and given that Spike seems to be like a $40-50 game I'm quite pleased and I don't intend to sell them. I've wanted Spike for awhile just not at the going rate and so far it's fantastic and goofy too.

That was literally the only interesting title in the whole bunch, and of course it was missing the manual. I ended up leaving it.

Meanwhile, imports arrived at the Goodwill yesterday...

    Tant-R
    Super Masters
    Super World War

    PS2:
    Momotaro Dentetsu 11
    Ridge Racer V

    360:
    Burnout Paradise
    Burnout Revenge
    Need for Speed: Undercover

I picked up quite a few things on Sunday from a trip to the flea market and some places around the area.

I started off finding a small stack of 25˘ comics. I guess he had just put some new boxes where he keeps the quarter books because there was twice as many as there usually is. A little ways down that aisle I found a figure on card that I had been wanting and decided to pick up. Game wise I picked up some Atari 2600 controllers and a set of paddles from a guy I usually get boxed games from. He wanted $5 each for the controllers and paddle set. He had previously sold me a power cord for my 2600 Jr. so now I have a completely working unit again after many, MANY years.

Hit up a Gamestop after leaving there and I picked up Ninety-Nine Nights for XB360 for $5 and King of Fighters Orochi Saga on Wii for $7. Down the road from Gamestop was a mom n' pop game store. The only thing I came across that I wanted was a copy of Sega Bass Fishing 2 for $5.

A few Game Gear purchases over the past few days.

Predator 2 (GG) - $5 - Surprisingly fun title. Seems pretty hard to come by, too.

Captain America and the Avengers (GG) - $5 - If eBay is anything to go by, I got a pretty good deal on this one. TBH, might resell it since it appears to be more valuable than it is enjoyable.

And one that I'm VERY glad to have acquired...

Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya - $11 - Paid more than I normally would for a GG game here, but still a bit less than it usually goes for. VERY Happy to add this to my library and looking forward to playing through.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered some games from Amazon. One of them was Ragnarok Tactics for PSP. The other was a game called Shifting World for 3DS. I got the Ragnarok game FAST, like I ordered it on Friday and had it on Monday. The other game JUST now arrived. Then again, I used standard shipping from Canada (not realizing it was fulfilled in Canada) so I can understand some waiting to get through customs but man...

Friday morning I dropped by Gamestop and picked up SSX Blur for 0.99˘ and a DS game called Ant Nation for $5.

I've got my eyes set on a few things for today but I'll wait to post them in the inevitable March 2014 Finds thread.

I guess it was a marketplace seller then ? They can take their sweet ass time to ship... Amazon expect/allow 1-2 weeks for delivery for an item shipped and delivered in Canada. I bet it's up to 4 weeks when shipping Canada-US.
