I purchased a few replacement joysticks for N64 Controllers and I come to find out it seems the connection is not the same.

The ones I picked up do not have the plug, and have two red/black wires (each) unlike originals with 6 wires into a connector.

Does anyone know of a guide to replace the thumbstick with these 3rd party replacement parts?
