Even though I was clearly in the PS3 camp, I bought a 360 and have assembled a library for it that appeals to my tastes made of up exclusives that are not on PS3 or for whatever reason simply better on 360.

I find it really weird how many shmups there are for 360 considering they're almost all Japanese developed and how poorly the Xbox 360 sold in Japan. I guess the unpopular hardware of the 360 was better than the notoriously difficult to program for PS3 when it comes to smaller budget titles.

Overall, I'm kinda mixed on my opinion of the Xbox 360. The hardware was really unreliable for much of its life and I don't think will age well into the future as a classic gaming console. Everything about the 360, from its hardware to dependence on xbox live to play indie games - just screams "temporary".

On the other hand, I'm a huge fan of the original Xbox. Reliable hardware, nearly everything has 480p as a minimum, a fairly large and robust library of many games that still hold up now, and that awesome homebrew scene that continues to support it with updates to CoinOps and Vision. Plus, I like the feel of the Controller S way better than the 360 controller. Much better dpad too.
