Has anything in this story been verified? Because honestly, much of it sounds like total fabrication. I mean, a woman who doesn't know anything about retro collecting and just so happens to be down on her luck stumbles across a cheap copy at a Goodwill in 2013 and remembers seeing an article about the game? After acquiring the game supposedly changes her and her husband's life, the husband is reluctant to tell the story because it's a bad game? Secret dealings with a dude who smokes weed he calls Kid Icarus? Paying off a lawyer with a copy of Stadium Events? There's so much in this article that ranges from beyond far-fetched to totally ridiculous that I can barely believe a single word of it.
