I figure most of the people on about old prices dropping are the people who made/make their living reselling them, ala (old) Nintendo Age. But a lot of the sites where that takes place are either gone now or fully taken over by bots, so it's only trading between people who have been doing it for 20+ years.

The only concern I have for the DQ7 remake is how many people are not going to see it through. Even as far as DQ games go, 7 is amazingly long, longer still if you're seeking out a completion state.
