Galaxian Table Top Game - .25
Fear Effect (PS1, Complete) - 1
Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing (NES, With SMB/DH Manual) - .50
Ultimate Spider-Man (GBA) - 1
Bomberman Party Edition (PS1, Disc Only)
Driver 2 (PS1, Complete)
1
All IAP price from different sales with the exception being the last 2 PS1 games which were a buck each, picked out these 2 and offered a buck for both which was taken. Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing was actually kind of buried in a box of CD/VHS etc. and the guy dug it out when I asked about video games.
Playstation With 2 Controllers, Memory Card, Hookups, Spyro Year of The Dragon In The System & 7 NES Games - 5
Playstation was out and marked 5 at a moving sale. Asked about older games and the NES stuff was brought out offered $5 for all which was taken.
NES System With Controller, 5 NES Games, 2 N64 Games, 6 Games From GB To GBA - 12
This was the same house I got Super Street Fighter 2 at on Friday and I came back shortly after they opened up Saturday since I was told that they would put more games out for different systems once they figured out what games nobody in the family would play ever again. I didn't try to do any major haggling since the prices were fair to start with for a yardsale, I picked out some stuff I was interested in from a few different systems and they were 1.50 per a GBA game and anything older then last gen a buck a game. I wasen't sure about the NES system working and 2 of the GameBoy games didn't work right when I tried them out in a GBA SP they were selling to see what the games were like. The lady offered to let me have the NES added in for free with everything else I picked out and I asked about adding in the two games that didn't work also which was agreed on.

Intellivision In Storage Center With 25 Games - 2
As I pulled up to this unadvertised sale I spotted old cart games which I was guessing was Atari and to my surprice it was this still sitting out at about 10:30 marked 2 bucks which ended up being the price for the whole deal.

Just curious where you happened to find Bioshock 2 for $10?
Great score
I sell games at the Flea Market on the first of every month (when it's free to set up) and every so often when I can find someone to half the cost of setting up.
Anyway someone brought it up with a 360 (power and tv hookups only), Left 4 Dead and Red Alert 3, I asked what he wanted for the lot and he replied $65 done deal. then I put a controller with the 360 and sold it with L4D and RA3 and kept Bioshock 2.

I purchased all of this stuff last Thursday.

The copy of Doom II is factory sealed and I paid $3 for it. A bit too much perhaps but it went to a good cause and I felt nostalgic. The Linksys router was $2, the CD was $1.50, the cassettes were $0.25 each, the Syquest drives were $1 each, and I got the copy of Goldeneye for $1.50.
Earlier in the week, I had picked up a Dual 1225 turntable for $3 (works) and another copy of Goldeneye along with Sarges Heroes for $1 each.
I usually get more gaming stuff but the stores were bare this week, unfortunately.

Everything in this picture was $20 from the guy that runs the local flea market.
4 Xbox controllers, 3 PS3 Dualshock 3 controllers, and a wireless router. I figured the PS3 controllers were busted but all they needed was a full charge.

Ninja Gaiden (Xbox, Complete) - 3
Atari 2600, 4 Controllers, 22 Games - 13
Ninja Gaiden was IAP from a regular seller. I was looking over the Atari stuff and noticed that it had the wrong power adaptor, it went to something Magnavox and didn't fit in the 2600. The guy was asking 20 and when I pointed out the power adaptor being wrong he looked in the box with no luck finding the right one then offered to do 15 I countered with 10 and he didn't want to go that low so I suggested the old meet in the middle and he said how about 13 which I agreed on.

Had an amazing saturday and sunday at garage sales and flea markets. Im just too busy to take photos and be specific, but hit a mother load of cds. I went to an annual garage sale were I bought cds a couple years ago. Well what do you know, he had more this year. Walked away with about 130 cds for $100, but this was not your ordinary collection. All were mint, and large collections of rolling stones, black sabbath, van halen, anthrax, pink floyd, led zeppelin, tool, pantera, cream, pretty much all classic rock and some hard rock. He also had like 10 eazy e cds for some reason. The only thing that sucks is before I made a deal with him on the whole lot, a lady bought all 5 of his beatles cds including the white album. She paid like $3 a piece so I dont care that much. There were so many double disc sets I couldnt believe it.
Also bought a line 6 guitar amp for $50, its worth about $120-$130, only about 6 months old.
And a brand new pair of nike shox running shoes for $10, worth about $50-$60.
Then later in the day got a v tech v smile pocket and 12 games for $5, should be worth $60.
Then today at a flea went to a regular vendor I recognized. I havent been to this flea for about a month. He always has boxes and boxes of cds which are usually junk and expensive. Well this time he said he a bunch of new stuff and it was all 3 for $2. I picked out 66 and he only charged me $35, I think I can make about $120 on them. They were all mint, I have no idea why he all of a sudden got some good stuff.
Also just replied to a craigslist ad and could be getting a collection of about 200 more classic rock cds, ill keep you updated.

Nothing really worth taking pictures for today. Went on an abbreviated bit of thrifting and came back with one thing per shop, though I only went to two.
At my Goodwill they actually had quite a few PSX and PC games, but not really many that I wanted. I started to get excited when I pulled out an unmarked game that had Crash Bandicoot on it, but it turned out to be Crash Bash, and it didn't have a disc. Ended up just purchasing SpiderMan for the PC for $2 as my younger brother enjoyed it.
Next I went to a resale shop I haven't been to in a few months. Not really too many great things there. The only thing I passed on was a copy of Bomberman 64 as its label was in poor condition. I ended up with NFL Blitz 2000 for Dreamcast.
After that I decided to drive by another resale shop that I usually don't go to as the prices are too high. I pulled up to see that the store was closed. Pulling up a little farther showed that the store went out of business and was being put up for rent. Ah well...
tl;dr
SpiderMan (PC) - $2
NFL Blitz 2000 (DC) - $1

I hit a few Movie Trading Company stores today, along with a thrift. I don't have pictures, since my digital camera doesn't want to work properly anymore.
Xavix GamePort console (loose) with Golf cartridge - $12.51
Art of Noise - In Visible Silence CD (with an envelope sticker from the previous owner from Reykjavic in Iceland) - $1.91
Tarzan (loose) for Colecovision - $1.99
Battlestations, Mechwarrior 2, Shellshock, and In The Hunt for the Sega Saturn, $3.99 to $5.99 each
TurboGrafx-16 TurboTap (loose) - $14.99
The Movie Trading Company store I found the TurboTap in also had a spare controller (which I passed on) and apparently a system for sale but boxed in one of those generic "used systems" boxes. They didn't have any games for it, though.

Today, I got:
Generic USB keyboard- $7
Kensington USB/ADB mouse- $5
Also, in the mail, I got an absolutely mint non-GH copy of Final Fantasy VIII with all of the discs for $12. What originally came with it? Mine came with the manual and a "Mini-Walkthrough".
Surprises me that ADB devices were made all the way up until 2004, even if it is just an adapter.

Some stuff I picked up at California Extreme 2010 over this past weekend, great show as always!
First off, something I missed out on last year. These are night lights made from pop bumper caps and were $20.00 each. I bought two and my girlfriend bought one to give as a gift. The left one is vintage from a Space Invaders pinball, the right one is new stock. Both illuminate in the same manner and turn off once there's light in the room.

Next, from the ThisOldGame.com table, coasters made from old marquees. Four for $12.00, and the vendor allowed me to mix and match, which was awesome. Q*bert, Arkanoid, Ms. Pac-Man, and Gyruss.
http://www.classicplastic.net/digitalpress/finds/DP-Finds-2010-07-19(02).jpg
A last minute vendor had a "coin-op garage sale" with a ton of parts for very reasonable prices. While he was setting up I picked up a DJ Boy marquee for $10.00 and a little later got a Sly Spy marquee for $10.00 as well.
http://www.classicplastic.net/digitalpress/finds/DP-Finds-2010-07-19(03).jpg
Later on Sunday as the same dealer continued to work through his inventory I picked up a Sly Spy bezel for $5.00. I bought a Sly Spy PCB a couple weeks ago so these two items were awesome to find.

Not really video game related, but an interesting story I need to tell:
A few months back I bought a disc only CD Sacrament from Lamb of God. Today, at a different store I found the bonus DVD and case of Sacrament, but no CD. So I bought it and now have a complete copy. Weird.

Dragon Warrior III(Nes)
All three Nes games were $4 total at Goodwill. I got there about ten minutes too late because an old guy was standing in line with a complete in box copy of Final Fantasy(the third time I've seen this game complete at Goodwill) for the Nes. That was a little bit of a let down but I'm sure another complete copy of FF1 will show up eventually.

Some incredible finds today... one of the best in a while, that's for sure!
All games were $4 each.
Sega Master System
--
Psyco Fox - cart only. I don't have an SMS yet, but I got this anyway. I really need to get the system, I have four games now... (Yes, I know it's actually Psycho Fox. There's no h on the cartridge. :))
Genesis
--
Streets of Rage 2 - complete (I have this already, but cart only, and it's not cheap... I'll give one of the carts away or something.)
Socket - cart only (fun Sonic clone with great music and okay but not the best gameplay)
General Chaos - cart only (popular EA classic)
Gunstar Heroes - cart only (hard game, but pricey and obviously really good, this was a very good find...)
Rolling Thunder 3 - cart only (I like Rolling Thunders 1 and 2 MUCH more than this one (it's simply too different, too fast paced and hectic to be Rolling Thunder. And where did the second game's 2d simultaneous mode go?), but still, it's a good find)
Forgotten Worlds - cart and case (no manual) (see below)
And finally, a Sega CD Backup RAM Cart. I've wanted one since the day I got my Sega CD, but I was stupid and refused to pay what it's worth, so I never got one until now. This was an absolutely amazing, spectacular find, easily my favorite of this batch (and one of the best in a long time, for what it finally allows me to do -- that is, play more Sega CD games that save), but I should have just paid the $30 and gotten one on EBay years ago... oh well. At least I finally have one now. I should play Snatcher on the actual system. I've got like eight or ten games that save that I've only been able to play in emulation, and more beyond that I could burn, too... (hence what I mean about "I should have done it years ago"... but oh well.) At least I have one now!
Forgotten Worlds, hmm... it's a fun shmup, but this version does have some flaws, in that it's evidently incompatible with the official Sega Genesis controller extension cable plus 6-button controller setup that I use, which is annoying... Forgotten Worlds won't work at all on a 6-button controller unless you hold down Mode on startup, you see, and somehow through the extension cable it won't work at all. So I have to go plug in directly and then hold down Mode to play the game. Bah... decently good game though, from Capcom. This isn't the best version of the game (the arcade and TGCD versions are better), but it's fun enough to get, anyway.

Neighbours were cleaning out their basement and have two boys under 10. They had a MASSIVE pile of stuff in their yard and I noticed an N64 box over the fence walking by. I mentioned if they had any old game stuff I'd take it off their hands.

The dad in the family said he kept picking them up from places because the others would stop working - my guess is they'll all need connectors replaced. He's a bit of a scrounger/hoarder guy with computers so I can see why they'd have so many NES consoles.
I found a Yoshi's Cookie and a Zelda II inside two of the NES consoles :D
I'm going to give him one of my PS1/PS2 > USB cables (2 player) and show him how to setup a laptop/PC for emulation for his kids.

Finds where pretty weak; it seems like after getting my PSP, most all the good stuff went into hiding once more. However, I did find a few games for my PSP:
- Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? (PSP. Used in like new condition; with cardboard box and soundtrack CD): $30
- Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure (PSP. New): $10
I had been wanting to try Prinny for quite a while, so I decided to take a chance and buy it. So far, it's been pretty good...although the part I didn't enjoy was cleaning dried-on Gamestop price stickers off it
Getting myself another copy of Gurumin was a no-brainer; had I known I would end up buying another PSP, I wouldn't have gotten rid of my previous copy of it. I still feel it's one of the PSP's most overlooked games.

I've bought a few games recently, the first in awhile.
GameStop B2G1 Free:
Picross DS ($10 CIB)
Sim City DS ($13 CIB)
Thrillville: Off The Rails PS2(Free CIB)
Hoshigami Remix PS2 ($10 CIB)
Lunar Legend GBA ($4 loose)
It's Mr. Pants GBA ($4 loose)
I really want to go back to the one GS to pick up more GBA games. Hopefully I can go again soon. First copy of It's Mr. Pants I've ever seen, so that was nice. I really like the game too.
I also picked up a copy of Sould Calibur III for PS2 for $5 at a local grocery store, I didn't notice it didn't want the manual until I got to the car though :\
Locally, there is no games to be found at flea markets here. I just can't find anything anymore. There is a dealer or two, but its more than I want to pay for stuff. Yard sales are the same way. The economy has been hit hard here, you would think people would be selling, but they aren't. It's very frustrating.

Hit the clearance section at one of my local Wal*Marts and picked up a Nintendo DS headset for $2. They also had a PS2 accessory package there. It was a black Dual Shock controller and 2 8MB memory cards, (one red and one blue), for $15. Passed on that since I don't use my PS2 that much anymore.

Got these on Monday.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-07-19.jpg
$14 shipped from GameTZ. I've been looking for Reservoir Dogs for a while.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-07-21a.jpg
The AD&D module sets are pretty much complete, and include two extra ones. I got those for $3, but I plan to trade 'em away. I wanted to sell them... but their condition leaves a lot to be desired. The Smokey Bear comic is oddly hilarious, and that set me back fifty cents. The Zip 100 USB drive is new in box and cost me $5 (this was $8 yesterday but I went back for it today.)
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-07-21b.jpg
Star Wars Rebellion is complete and cost me $3 (well, the CD is in a sleeve, it doesn't have a case...) The GC Universal Studios game was $4 at Gamestop. The CDs:
Reel Big Fish: Why do they rock so hard? (too scratched / unrippable)
Frank Zappa: Make A Jazz Noise Here
John Mellencamp: Uh-huh
John Mellencamp: Whenever We Wanted
DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince - He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper (replaces my older, beat up copy)
The CDs were $1 each with the exception of Make A Jazz Noise Here, that was $2.
And apparently I missed out on a ton of PS1 games. Again.

Hey, not gonna mention the Rick Astley CD? Or was this some sort of a bizarre, photo-Rick Roll?

Yesterday I posted a couple things that I picked up at Wal*Mart. I was at a different one today and I must say that when it comes to clearance at Wally World, YMMV. They had the same NDS headset that I paid $2 for on clearance for $14 and where one store had the PS2 accessory pack for $15, this one wanted $30 on clearance, just for the 2 memory cards.

I did the lot sale again....
At the bottom of a box I scrounged a lonely Game.com, no stylus or anything. I looked it over and it was in pretty rough shape. Duke Nukem 3D ($0.25) was in there so I pulled it out and got it. Other than that I got a manual-less copy of Namco Museum vol. 3 (PSX) for $0.50. I really didn't get anything else.
Oh, and no attempt to outdo Kitsune or anything LOL, but I got a loose 8-track Doobie Brothers album. My 2XL needs some China Grove!
(And I have a really small 8-track library, consisting of 3, now 4 tapes)

Genesis 3 boxed: 20
Sega channel with power adapter: Free with genesis
GBA boxed, new: free (kinda)
10 dollar bill: FREE
As i was walking near the back of the flea market, i spotted the genesis box. After checking its contents, which had the power adapter controller and bagged system, i asked the price. 20 bucks. not bad. i looked more in the box, some nes games, jurrrastic park yada yada. But i saw this odd looking thing...Sega channel? It looked cool, and it might be worth something so i put it on top of the box. I showed it to him, and he still said 20, so i guess it was free?
Anyway, my dad kept nagging me to make sure everything was in the boxes etc...I Thought it was annoying, but when i got home i realized i had forgotten the attena. Im not sure if it was just ,missing i forgot to dig it out of the box but im mad.
Anyone know what the sega channel is worth?
As i was walking by another stand, i saw a boxed 5200, kinda ragged box. The 5200 looked brand new, the controllers and power supply still in their respective cardboard holders/boxes, and 2 boxed games...for 40 dollars. Now dont get me wrong, id buy that up instantly, but i am in a 58 dollar debt, and the 5200 will only raise it to 98, which is something i just wont allow. I was dismayed at leaving such a thing behind, but as i was walkign away or looking at something, i noticed a green object. Upon further investigation, it was a 10 dollar bill! Sweet! Now my debt is 10 dollars lower, bringing it to 48 dollars!
Oh and the Game boy advance boxed new is a gift from my dad, he found it at a garage sale.It has never been used, and has all the instruction books with it, in their baggies.

Also picked up a Radio Shack project box for $2 along with a DVI and audio cable for $0.25 apiece.

When I picked mine up a year or two ago, there were a couple on Ebay that closed for only $20 or so. I think their uselessness keeps their value pretty low, despite their rarity.

Ummm... I forgot.
I also got a PSX (I think...) carrying case for a buck. It's a soft back-pack looking thing that I think is for a PSX system, it is emblazoned with the original PS1 style logo. I also got copy of HeroQuest (for $2!). I saw HeroQuest sitting on a stack of books in the corner and did a "WTF?" style double take. Yes, it's the original 1989 Milton Bradley board game. I wish I had friends that are interested in this stuff so we can play :(. The box is a little beat up, but it seems complete. I'm going to look at it later. It's going to go to eBay for the "Ryaan1234 needs a car" fund LOL.

I'm never gonna get around to pictures, so I guess I'll just list stuff for the record. This is over at least 3 weeks I'd say, been a while since I found something to get me excited enough to post. All from thrifts, I think:
PS2 Rez - 4.99 - no manual and the disc is beat up, but it scans fine, so I'm looking forward to playing it.
PS1 'D' (loose) - $1
SNES a/v, 2600 & NES ACs, official Sega Gen wireless controller w/ receiver - 2.50 (garage sale)
PC Hand of Fate (sealed) - 1.80
PC AFF II - 1.60
PC Shadowlands//Crusaders Dark Savant in one of those cheapy 2-pak deals (sealed) - 1.60
PC Magic Carpet 2 - 1.60
Mac (3.5") King's Quest V (sealed but rough) - 1.80
PC Magic Battlegrounds - 1.60
PC Commander Blood (sealed) - 1.60
IBM/Apple/Commodore Arcade & Sports Spectacular (sealed)- 1.40 - This has an old game called Paratrooper that I played the crap out of as a kid, so I had to buy it.
PC Zax: The Alien Hunter - 1.80 - meh, looked like a decent Diablo clone.
--these were all found at the same time, apparently someone dumped a bunch of old games, and either kept the good ones or those got scooped up before I got there. Or I'm also starting to think that thrift is screening out good stuff for ebay or something.
New games:
PS3 Mirror's Edge - 1.41 from Amazon using my 10 credit from Glory of Heracles, so about $12 for both of them.
PS3 Dead Space - 10.72 direct from EA. Have wanted to try this out.

I didn't find that much of interest today, top gun for NES CIB for $3 and hudson hawk sealed for $20. (Honestly, who donates sealed games to goodwill?) I bought both of them and asked the manager if he saw anything else of the such in, and he said a sealed terminator 2 for NES came in with the others but was sold already. To bad, someone probably opened it. There were also some disney laserdiscs, they were cool but $7 a piece so i didnt get them...I hate how my goodwill figured out what laserdiscs were and stopped thinking they were records and pricing them $1.

Quoted from the Game & Watch thread
"Yesterday i was at this thrift store I frequent quite regularly and they just got in a new shipment of tons of cables and they were sprawled out all over the table.
So I take a look in the Pile dont really see anything of interest then when i arrive at the end of the long table I see it.
Turns out Its LifeBoat in the pile abiet with the cover missing but no big deal I still was standing there for like two minutes just Wowed.
I ended up paying $4 dollars for it and I don't feel bad in the least bit. Like when people in the other thread talked about feeling guilty [also this aint a salvation army they get free stuff that those places throw out and they pocket the money themselves 80 bucks for a fat ps2 are you fucking crazy] at this point I dont really care because they try to dick me over on prices for everything I want there and this Make's up for it.
So anyway cool find. this started off my G&W collection and im gonna start collecting them now. "
Gonna be Spending most of this weekend looking for stuff at assorted places hopefully i can make another post by Sunday :D

I bought a factory sealed copy of Golf for the NES at Goodwill today, since everybody have been going on and on about sealed games here lately. I also picked up copies of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and Z-Pack: Fun both for the Tapwave Zodiac, all $5.25 each. At another thrift I ended up buying Trivia Fever for the Commodore 64, but it's missing the floppy disk. But I bought it anyway, since inside the box were loose C64 carts of Radar Rat Race and Omega Race. Only cost 99¢. And earlier at a different thrift I bought shrinkwrapped copies of Capricorn One and The Black Hole on DVD for $2.92 each.

Went to some yard sales this morning, nothing impressive though:
Rebel Raiders Operation Nighthawk - PS2 - $2
Super Space Invaders - Game Gear - $0.50
Mariah Carey Unplugged cassette - $0.25
The woman with the Super Space Invaders game had sold a Game Gear + 10 games for $5 yesterday. :( - She found this game last night; it had fell out or something.
Rebel Raiders isn't worth anything but I couldn't resist after I saw the Independence Day inspired screenshot on the back.

Took a chance on a church sale today about an hour from home. They were calling it a presale from 9-noon and were charging $5 for admission. Got there at about 8:20 and was first in line. It was a really nice church and you could tell there was money in the area which we knew going on.
I had pretty high expectations, and boy was I not let down. walked away with basically 4 holy grail finds. well maybe not holy grail but close. I will post pics later. It was incredible and my grand total was $106 spent. Only 1 item is game related, but the others are cool.
