I found these two PC games, very mint and 100% complete. Railroad Tycoon and Lost Treasures of Infocom. Anyone know if they are worth anything?

Lost Treasures is worth a bit of money, especially if it's got every single piece of paperwork included. Even more if it's the CD version. Even MORE if it's the hybrid DOS/Mac version.
Railroad Tycoon... I think it's pretty worthless. It's a Sid Meier game, those always get high print runs.

One more game arrived today...it was a new (still sealed) copy...
Catwoman for the GameCube
My quest to get all the DC Comics games for systems I own is nearly complete... :D

Here is a pic of everything that it came with, the hint book, the manual, a ton of pamphlets, and fifteen total floppys.

Garage sales, 10/28/10
http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac5/Ryaan2000/Finds102910-1.jpg
Okay... Sooooo.... Went to one garage sale and they had a TON of cool old stuff, made a little pile of things and got the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (Education version... requires an academic ID, WTF can I resale this?) for $1, and Quicken Deluxe 2000 and iLife '08 for $0.50 a pop. Also, The B-52's album for $1.
At a moving sale I browsed a pile of software and picked up the 2 top disc-only games (Fallout 1 & 2 :D), Civ III, and Dark Colony (2 disc, Mac/Windows) for $2 a piece. I found Sim City on the bookshelf at that sale (Odd...) which was also $2, it's the 5.25" PC version.
The most interesting thing I found is NOT pictured. I saw a tub filled with old photos at the "cool stuff" sale with a little sign on it that read "10 cents each". I saw a few Keystone Stereoview pictures in it and figured I'd buy the whole thing. The lady told me $5 for it all and I got it. When I got the tub to the car I noticed a clear plastic folder in the back of the tub, and it contains old press photos from Gunsmoke, Mary Tyler Moore, Doctors and Nurses, and several other TV shows and films. O_O O_O O_O There's at least a dozen sheets that have different "takes" of a different photo on them as well, almost like "test" sheets (They say "Kodak Safety Film" on their sides and some have marker writing on them). There's some great stuff in here like a press photo of Gregory Peck, and a whole sheet of test pictures (of "Doctors and Nurses") that feature William Shatner! I have no idea what these things are worth but I'm going to do additional research, they seem interesting and hopefully valuable!

Well damn. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I have no idea what to price this at.Me neither. The weight of the item will make the shipping go up a lot (unless you use Media Mail) so that'll drive some buyers away. :(

Um. Yes, and no. You can try to resell it on eBay, but if Adobe finds out they'll take it down and you'll get a warning from eBay.

I can't scan them now... But here's some pics if that's acceptable. (Sorry, no carpet in the background and receipt though)
http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac5/Ryaan2000/MaryTylerTest.jpg?t=1288384531
(Sorry about the large size, but it's necessary to see) This is the only Mary Tyler Moore picture I have like this, although there is one or two additional enlarged press pictures.
http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac5/Ryaan2000/GunsmokeTest.jpg
Gunsmoke, I have 3 actual CBS press photos and a whole stack of pictures that look like the above (but different subjects of course)
http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac5/Ryaan2000/DrNurseTest.jpg
Doctors and Nurses. This is the show I have the second most of these, but of course this is the most interesting because The Shat is in it (Not sure why a pic is cut out the corner).
http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac5/Ryaan2000/DrNurseShatner.jpg
In case you didn't believe it was Shatner :D
LOL I'm not too sure what's going on in this picture, but knowing William Shatner...
But like I said I have a whole folder of these things, not sure what to do with them. I have one press photo in particular that simply has "Gregory Peck" written on back... And some other stuff from movies I can't identify. I hope I'm not cluttering up the video game finds forum with this, it's just too cool and I'm really excited to have found all these pictures.
Oooh.

I've had decent luck selling education and NFR software, but can't say that'll be universal. That NFR XP Media Center edition I had a while back sold without issue, and I've seen plenty of other education and NFR versions listed. But any of it could be pulled. One option to consider is listing it at a low BIN so it goes quick and all is done before it is noticed. I listed a DVD set that turned out to be a bootleg (it was sealed in plastic and looked fine to me) and it was up for several days before it got pulled... if I had had a low BIN instead of auction it might never have been noticed.

I took some things to donate today and picked up Sid Meier's Gettysburg! for $.25 and Civil War 2 Generals for $.50. Disc only for both but a disc only of Generals sold on eBay for $20 recently.
Probably sell Generals; wasn't feeling it too much and I've yet to try Gettysburg.
Also picked up a book on Programming Controllers (wrote in '83, it's for old PC chips), Vladimir Nabokov's Ada (published in '69), and Andropov in Power (Cold War book about the former Soviet leader).

It's been a few years since I've played them but I enjoyed Gettysburg much more than Generals 2. You've reminded me that I actually found a complete copy of Sid Meier's Civil War Collection last week which includes Gettysburg and Antietam. I should try to play them when I get a chance. :)
I actually had a spare copy of Generals 2 with case and instructions listed on ebay with a $19.99 starting bid and it didn't sell, it'll probably get listed again within a week or so(a friend of mine is helping sell some stuff for me on ebay).

I picked up a decent lot at the flea market today, but there wasn't much to be found. I got all of this for $35. All the Playstation games are complete.
Croc-Legend of the Gobbos (Playstation)
Fantastic Four (Playstation)
Rival Schools (Playstation) Wanted this for a while, can't wait to play!
Eternal Eyes (Playstation) Sealed
Keith Courage (TG16) First turbo game I've seen in the wild
Zoda's Revenge: Startropics II NES
Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
Are there any differences between Link's Awakening DX and the original besides the color? Also, is Eternal Eyes worth playing or should it go up for sale?

I can sell Civil War 2 disc only for $35-45, and I sold a complete copy sold $65 two years ago (when sales were much better). There's a pack with both Civil War games that goes for good prices too (but that one was reprinted in Europe so it's not as uncommon) - and there's an even rarer pack out there that I stumbled upon earlier this year called The Great Civil War (http://www.mobygames.com/game/great-civil-war), which includes both those games and "Edward Grabowski's The Blue & The Gray". The DOS/Windows 3.1 version of the game is common, but the Windows 95 version (included in this pack) is not. I managed to sell that one for $60 loose (and that one took a while to sell because nobody knows about it!).
Are there any differences between Link's Awakening DX and the original besides the color?
The DX version has an extra dungeon.

Red Orchestra is freaking incredible. They're working on a second right now that might come out next year. It's VERY realistic and isn't your typical FPS but I loved it back in the day. I need to find my disc and start playing it again.
$8.77 you say? Hell, I might just go to my Wal-mart and see if I can find a copy.

Normal controller. It's a debug unit; intended to test games made with a development kit. IIRC, they were sold for $1200 when they first came out while the actual dev kits went for $10k+. I don't know if you'll be able to play retail games but you can try. If you were to have any incomplete full games on there, I'd say your value would go up some more.

All I found today was a copy of Samurai Pizza Cats: The Movie on VHS. Pretty cool as it's long out of print and apparently had a low print run. I found some stuff yesterday and last week but haven't sorted through it yet, if I get around to it I'll post what I got.
The Samurai Pizza Cats almost made it into Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, so close yet still not close enough. I've got to look up some episodes now.

And I also picked up Mutant League Football and Mutant League Hockey, cheap but sadly incomplete. Both are just box, cart, and poster. No manuals, no trading cards. Le sigh.

Well flea market today and not even worth pics.
I picked up a copy of Jupiter Strike (PS1 longbox) for $3. I also got a broken 3.1 MP digital camera of a generic brand for $1. Why did I buy a broken digital camera? There was a 1 GB SD card in it LOL
That's it, no epic finds or anything today.

Bought around 200 games today for $3.00 a piece. With that said, I think I can fund my own nation on majora's mask cartridges alone now.
