I figure it'll just show up around late May with no fanfare or notice. I'm not gonna worry about it. If I get the stuff...cool! If not, well...bummer. And not everyone that signed up will get stuff...only those who got in when they still had stuff left in chronological order will get anything at all. Hopefully we don't all get nothing!

Hpw about no envelope? They just sent it shrinkwrapped in plastic with an address tag on it. I applied for it pretty late in the contest, and got mine today, so the rest of you are probably all good.

Me neither, however I did get a confirmation from Nintendo today that my DS mannequin hand has shipped! I signed up for it about 2 weeks ago so it didnt take that long! Question for the people that got their Suikoden stuff, did you get a confirmation email or did it just show up?

So you got both shipped together? Perhaps that's why it's taking so long for some of us to get our stuff: first they shipped out the soundtrack-only packages and then the soundtrack+coin packages later on.

Uh, I disagree. I BOUGHT the game specificaly AS a pre-order in order to get a code for the contest, and then worked on getting the codes so I could get all three items. So I expect to get SOMETHING from them.

Following up on what Aussie said, I think that's how Konami is doing this -- first they sent out the soundtracks to the people who won soundtracks only, then they started sending out the coin/soundtracks bundles to people who got those two, and hopefully sometime soon they will start sending out the scroll/coin/soundtrack bundles to those of us (like myself :) ) who registered to get all three.

I can be patient for a while long. Patience is not my strongest suit, however. ;)

This means one thing: Their marketing efforts have not been a waste. They did this specifically so people like you would buy the game earlier than intended, and it's worked.

The fact remains that this is a contest, no one is more deserving to win than anyone else. I agree with how they're going about it, sending them based on earliest registration but even if you purchased the game for the purpose of the contest, if you registered later than supplies ran then you "deserve" nothing.

But to answer questions and collect previous answers in one place:
a) no confirmation e-mails were sent
b) soundtrack-only packages ship first, then soundtrack+coin, then soundtrack+coin+wallscroll
c) the items are actually of very high quality
d) soundtrack has eight tracks from Suikoden IV, then two from the other three releases, for a total of fourteen

Which will probably get you disqualified and banned from the contest. The rules specifically state that if you're caught artificially doing that, you'll be disqualified.
