Anyone remember the length of time between us getting our coins and soundtracks and just getting our soundtracks? I'd think that might be how long we'd be waiting to see if we get the wallscroll too.

I think it was somewhere around a couple of weeks. That's about how long it was between me getting my soundtrack and everybody posting about the soundtrack + coin.

My CD and coin came today, long after I had forgotten about them completely.

The coin looks VERY nice.

That's a poor way to see it. :/ If you got absolutely no appreciation for the stuff, you could at least sell it to someone who would. I mean, there's not much you can do with a coin, but there are a lot of people out there who LOVE Suikoden music and missed out on the giveaway, I'm sure.

With that attitude maybe you should send it to someone who would enjoy it. At least sell it on ebay so someone that gives a rats ass gets it. Why enter a contest if you don't give a damn about the prize, speically since you would be stealing the prize from someone who DOES give a damn.

And how the hell can someone not look at that coin and be impressed? Its a damn nice coin with some great workmanship.

First of all...You apparently haven't the slightest idea of why I said "Whoopy do" do you? Honestly, I don't feel like explaining myself to you either. Just quit your assumptions...It's not my fault your feeling a bit uptight about this.

Anything else?

Whoopy dooo....

would mean that you didn't give a damn, and also for being disgusted that someone would go to the trouble of entering all these codes to win something that is in limited supply when they didn't really care. I should have been able to read you mind and read between the invisible lines to ascertain that you had some other meaning which you aren't even privy to sharing. Now if you'll excuse my I'm going to go buy a NWC gold cart and then come here to complain about how boring it is.

I should have been able to read you mind and read between the invisible lines to ascertain that you had some other meaning which you aren't even privy to sharing.

Exactly...But since your so inclined to know...Because everyone was posting about "How they had received theirs" I meant it in a fashion of like "Yay, I did too"...

I find a cheese factor in it, but since I was taking part in it, I phrased it the way I did.

Anything else? or is this REALLY bothering you?

That was a stupid way to say that. o_O That's like saying to someone "You suck", and later coming back to their angry reaction with the response "I didn't mean it that way; I meant you suck thick milkshakes through a straw instead of using a spoon".

Good for you...I can care less what anyone thinks of what I meant. I said it that way...Get over it.

Thanks for reminding me why I have continued to shun away from this forum. Boy has this place changed from what it use to have been like. Now it's filled with a bunch of uptight ass' who think they know everything about everyone.

That's fine though...It's funny how some people can't get over something so simple. LOL Alright I'm done with this, Now this has become cheesy.

Take whatever I said and assume away...My life won't be effected at all.

Now if you will, Excuse me...I need a tissue.

Enough already. Time for this topic to get back on topic and cut out the asshattery. And please remember, don't feed the trolls.

That being said, we still haven't received our stuff, but we should be getting all three so hopefully it's a good sign. :)

I got mine this afternoon... god, why would anyone sign up for this to get this crap? I threw it away before even opening it. Whoopy doo.....

Just kidding. :) It's very cool, the CD is in a slipcase, not a regular jewel case. The coin is very heavy, too. If 100 potch actually weighed this much, there would be no way to actually carry all the money you make in any of the games. (It says 100 potch on the back.)

I didn't get the artbook, so... no wallscroll. Can't wait to see some pics of that.

same here. the coin has really nice workmanship, and it's extremely shiny. X_x the soundtrack isn't bad either, i'm listening to it right now. i'll probably get some of the games if i find them.

I just got my CD and coin.

I haven't listened to the CD yet, but the coin is CHOICE. I think that it's definitely a nicer piece than the coin that came with my Sonic adventure 2 Birthday Pack box.

Which is nice, considering this one was free.

I got one of those tiny plastic stands from the Smithsonian Natural History Museum (for rocks n gems) to hold the coin, looks pimp sitting on top of my PS1 games.

Yeah, that coin is too great not to display, but I actually turned it around to display it... I really don't know so much about the PS2 Suikoden games, but I was a big fan of the first two games.

This way, it just has '100 Potch' on display, which I can recognize as just a "Suikoden thing."

Got mine today too. My return address was Rob Edwards, Pacific Color in Pleasanton, CA - probably the contractor Konami hired to run the promotion and make the wall scrolls locally in the US. The shipping address did have "Konami" underneath my name.

I was quite impressed by the wall scroll. I thought it be some rinky dink thing, but its actually quite large, and well done. The coin is quite heavy too.

I also got mine in a huge triangular box, from a guy named Rob Edwards, Pacific Color. I thought it was a random box my dad threw on the floor, but he said it was addressed to me. I only knew that it was what I've been waiting for since January. The scroll is freaking beautiful, by the way. Here is a picture of it:

I keep seeing this thread and being a little saddened by it. I found the seven codes, but I used two from books that I had seen like I mentioned on page 3 or 4 or something.

I never got anything :(

On the other hand, since I don't have anywhere to put anything I guess that's okay.

I'm sure you'll be getting them in the next day or two. I myself just received all three items in the mail yesterday after about 4 months of waiting around. Konami probably just waited to sort out who won what and mail out the scroll winners last to save on shipping.

but did you cheat (enter more than one artbook?)

I entered two legitimately found art book codes before anyone knew that you couldn't enter two of them. From what I posted on page four:

I found two of the "Art of" books in a store and I wrote down their numbers and entered today. I got a red message from Konami stating that I couldn't use more than one of the same code. Hmmmmm?

I might do it with my wife without the Art codes as I really don't care and don't really want anything but a soundtrack, but then they could disqualify me for that...

Damn. There seems to be no winning :(

So yes, I "cheated," but I "cheated" with actual codes before anyone knew you couldn't use two of them.

Like I said back then, I just wanted a soundtrack too :( I have the storage space for that.

Well, the wall scrolls are NICE. I mean, REALLY good looking. It feels top quality, and is very vibrant.

The coin is cool as well, it feels and looks like a real coin.

The soundtrack -- well, that's just my fault for not caring much for the songs they included. :) Suikoden 1 and 2 had the best music of the series anyway.

This reminds me, I got busy and put Suikoden 4 to the side a few months ago and STILL have'nt gotten back to playing it again -- along with Xenosaga 2, Front Mission 4, and a number of other games..... :embarrassed:
