I think that we should at least sticky this.

On topic though, even though I found them today:

GG games for $2 each

Super Columns
Ecco Tides of Time
Ms Pac Man

Are we to place non-classic game related finds in here as well?

I suppose it would be the same as previous find topics.

Why are people already listing finds in here? It's not even February yet?

The February finds threads was created early for the psychics in our forum. :)

I predict that I will find the following items in February:

- 100,000 copies of E.T. for the 2600 that I found in a little garbage dump in southern New Mexico
- A prototype Atari 1450XLD that I found in Goodwill for only $2
- I will find that my new neighbor will be, in fact, Nolon Bushnell hiding out from that disaster of a TV show he starred in last year ("Made in the U.S.A."). We'll be drinking beer and hanging out in his hot tub and I'll be pitching my idea for a new 3-D video game.

Well if you really want to know some finds, I got 4 Dreamcast VMUs, 2 N64 runble paks, 2 NES controllers, Turok 2 loose for N64, and Jurrasic Park for the SNES loose all for 99p each.

Nothing special, but there you go.

I almost bought 35 Spectrum games for £5 and 6 2600 games for 50p each and buy one get one free, but the silly bint didn't know what to put them through the till as so she told me to come back when the manager is in.

Well, I got Mobile Light Force 2 for free (Traded in my PS2 Network adaptor. I honestly couldn't give this thing away) and Space Channel 5 Special Ed. sealed for $9. First game purchases of the year, if you can believe it. And I'm STILL backlogged like, 3 games. Ugh. (hah, I make it sound like a chore)

Oh, I also downloaded the WoW 10-day trial thing, and am installing it now. Hopefully I dont like it so I wont be forced to flush $15 down the toilet a month.

Haha, I've got about 25 games I haven't gotten round to playing. I should really get to them some time.

Well, guess I'll get some pictures up in this bitch:

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/hellvin/qfg.jpg

Genesis - Virtual Bart (complete) - 6
PC - Quest for Glory Anthology (complete) - 6

Damn, that bookman's got a lot of QFG stuff in. Now that I have 1 - 5 I should play through em and import the character throughout the series.

Amy Rose
01-31-2006, 04:57 AM
Ultimate Spider-Man for PC - $8
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for PC - $5
Megaman X: Command Mission for PS2 - $20

First finds I've had in ages, and they're all really good prices too! Yay.

Got a massive package today from my man, Qixmaster:

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/JumpmanPOE/nes.jpg

Puts me at 703 NES games... slowly creeping up on the 772.

Notables of the package include:
Adventures of Lolo 3
Sunday Funday
Namco Ms. Pacman
Wacky Races
Loose Maxi 15
etc..
8-)

dreamcaster
01-31-2006, 09:21 AM
Gitaroo Man (PS2) - new, $30.00AU
Thunder Spirits (SFC) - complete, $12.00AU

Traded in some crap for TS so it was essentially free.

I didn't get this in February, but this past weekend my girlfriend and I picked up some titles at Gamestop for the buy 2 get 1 free.

I got for the Xbox:
Silent Hill 2, GTA Vice City, Star Wars KOTR 2

She got for the Gamecube:
Super Mario Sunshine, Crash Nitro Racing, NFS 2 UG

Only 6 hours left until Februrary, so I'll just post my modest find in here ;)

4 for £20:
GTA3 (PC), The Curse of Monkey Island (PC), Escape from Monkey Island (PC), Gran Turismo Concept (PS2)

I had The Curse Of since it first came out but I lost the disc some time last year.

Medal of Honour: Allied Assault Deluxe Edition, £5

5 random Atari 2600 carts for £1.50 (50p each and buy-one-get-one-free). I'm sure there were 6 yesterday. They muct be very common because I've heard of 4 of them. Boxing, Space Invaders, Centipede, Galaxian, Combat.

They asked if I wanted the Spectrum games as well but I decided against it because I don't have a Spectrum. He said he could sell me one but then the other worker said it had some bits missing. That's a shame.

Now I just need to make my laptop stop randomly crashing. I think it would be best to just get a new hard drive.

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e279/Guyver03/DSCF0049.jpg

Picked up this box of stuff for $45. guy didn't realize what he had...that or he didn't really care:

Stuff I didn't care about:
X-men: Mutant Apocalypse
Turtles IV
Arcde's Greatest Hits
NHLPA Hockey

Reasons I bought the box:
Donkey Kong Country x 2
Pilotwings
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario All-Stars
Star Fox
Street Fighter II Turbo
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Illusions of Gaia
Chrono Trigger

Selling the Chrono Trigger, Zelda and a Donkey Kong Country to a friend cheap because I already have copies of these. Pretty good haul if I do say so myself.

Doom 3: Limited Collector's Edition (XB)
Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland (PS2)
Tomb Raider (SAT)
Revolution X (PS, Longbox)
Total Eclipse Turbo (PS, Longbox)
Zero Divide (PS, Longbox)

Oh man... I didn't have really any "finds" as I paid through the nose for most of this.

I got my package I ordered from GameQuest Direct last week... sealed games are awesome.

http://flamevault.com/~jesus/random/games/gqd.jpg

Last week I went a little nuts on the Gamestop Buy 2 Get 1 Used deal, and just got around to cleaning them up right now.

http://flamevault.com/~jesus/random/games/b2g1.jpg

And then today I cashed my check for the soul purpose of purchasing this

http://flamevault.com/~jesus/random/games/steelb.jpg

And while I was there I saw a few things I wanted, and the guide was pennied out but they missed it \m/

http://flamevault.com/~jesus/random/games/gamestop.jpg

That loose GBA cart has now become a complete, up for sale Super Mario Bros. NES classic. Has the registration card and everything.

It's been a good week, but my wallet hates me. Need to calm down for a bit now...

I picked up The Sims 2 for PC new for £16.50. Quite a good price, I thought. I might get a used expansion pack some time. I saw some in the shop the other day.

My laptop is still crashing, which is rather annoying. I think it might be a problem with the memory. I should be getting a new computer in the next month anyway.

Not a "find" in my traditional sense of paying pennies on the dollar for the good stuff at the thrifts but I'd been wanting one for a long time and this one had been sitting behind the glass at a local shop for months. Good enough for me, and a nice way to start the new sticky monthly finds thread format!

ROFL Yeah, right; and I predict that Gunpei Yokoi will arise from the grave and give me his autographed GameBoy prototype (and a six-pack :P)

Ya, well, good luck with that Gunpai Yokoi thing. :)

By the way does anyone know where I can store a couple 100K of ET carts? It's taking up a lot more space than I thought it would and I would really like to park my car in the garage again.

Oh, and Nolan says hi (his hot tub is really cool).

NES Mig 29 $1.99
Fisher Price RC car for my kid $1.99

$30 for:
CV Pepper II complete
CV DK Jr complete
CV Super Action Football complete
CV Rocky complete
Adam CPM complete (it's a tape, but whoca?)
16 or so SMS games complete including Rastan, Castle of Illusion, Moonwalker (need that I think) and many more.

$3 apiece for Vectrex Scramble, Berzerk and Hyperchase all loose (any Vec find is a good week or month). I also got a pile of not so rare Sears label variations including that cool end label Speedway 2 and some pix for my tradelist at $3 apiece. Guy gave me some free N64 manuals too.

i'll let the pictures do the talking.

That's just the thing; I can't understand what the pictures are saying if they're all red X's!

I can see it just fine. But its not really gameing oriented or is it? :hmm:

Any who got two neo games in today for a total of $58 shipped. The box they came in got crushed and Samuri Showdown seemd to have sustained some damage.

SS doesn't have a manual.

Well, at "Neds Treasure Chest" I picked up NES Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, River City Ransom, and Bases Loaded II for 2 bucks each... Unfortunately the RCR has began to get that NES "whitening" effect going on with the cart :/

Yesterday I was at the Goodwill store and I saw an N64 game cart holder with no price in a display case. I went to ask about it and the lady checked. When she opened it there were 16 games in it. I was surprised, they were only 2 bucks each. Half of them were sports and the others were Mario related or other. She told me I could take everything for for 35 dollars including a Genesis game I had in my hand (WWF Royal Rumble). It was a pretty good find overall.

It's the Namco Jogcon, came with certain editions of Ridge Racer Type 4 (both in the US and Japan). Never used one, but not supposed to be as good for racing games as the Negcon.
