To the people who snagged Grandia 2 cheap, I hate you both.

From the CC sale, I got Drill Dozer and Guilty Gear DS... and I went for Metroid Prime Pinball and FFIV Advance, neither of which were there (duh).

On the plus side, Drill Dozer is a great game. Guilty Gear DS has a Smash Bros. feel to it, and I guess it's the closest thing to Jump Superstars that we'll EVER get, considering the licensing nightmare that would be.

Other than that, nada.

A couple of great finds for me today. First off a local game store was clearing out some of their N64 games. They put a big box on the counter and threw in 90 loose N64 games. The thing was you couldn't tell what titles were in there. All they would say is "There are no duplicates". The price was $75.00 so I figured what the heck. Well I ended up with the following:

1080 Snowboarding
Aero Gauge
All-Star Baseball 99
Army Men: Sarge's Heroes
Asteroids 64
Automobili Lamborghini
Banjo-Kazooie
Bass Hunter 64
BattleTanx
Blast Corps
Blues Brothers 2000
Bomberman 64
Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition
Carmageddon 64
Castlevania
Cruis'n World
Diddy Kong Racing
Excitebike 64
Extreme-G
Extreme-G 2
F-Zero X

WCW Mayhem
WCW Nitro
WCW Revenge
WCW vs NWO: World Tour

Comes out to about 83 cents a game. :D

Then stopped by someone who was having a yard sale today. :hmm:

CIB Atari 5200 2 port system. Outside box is worn, but everything on the inside is mint. Controllers work flawlessly and the rubber boots on the sticks show no wear. :D
Included was all the docs and original packing materials and CIB copies of Centipede, Pac-Man, and Qix.
They were asking $125 originally. Talked them down to $75. Maybe a little high but I already have 42 games and no way to play them.....until now.

I never really was a big sega fan (much less genesis) but never the less I collect anything gaming related so I picked all this stuff up today:

http://www.green-ranger.com/nes/finds/bloodlines.jpg

didn't have any of the disney games, all the genesis games were 3.99 each except for bloodlines which was only 1.99

castlevania and belle's quest are duplicates for me so if anyone is interested let me know (bloodlines is NOT the crappy majesco release, its the earlier clamshell release)

the dc games were 5$ each, I always wanted to try virtual tennis, even if it is the greatest shits version it might be worth digging the dc out of the junk bin.

the transformer was a dollar, as was an power ranger rc bike and a few other random toys.
the find of the day for me was the friends cd that i found at the sa for 3$, overall a good day I think, (even if it is sega games ;-) )

Arrived today:

Final Fantasy IV Advance
Sword of Mana
Drill Dozer
Zelda + Pitfall

All from the Circuit City clearance sale. A friend bought 'em for me and sent them to me... but Drill Dozer is busted and won't rumble. :(

I'm gonna have to see if Nintendo will replace the cart or not. I registered it, but I don't have the receipt... :\

Picked up two rare Atari 2600 carts for $3 a piece.

I got "Threshold" by Tigervision ina strange orange cart, which rates as a 6 on Atari Age.

The other is "King Kong" by Tigervision as well, in a similar strange blue cart. Rates at a "5."

Figured these carts were rare by the strange color and shape. If anyone has enticing trades, PM me motha fucka.

Dragon force, saturn 3.99 @_@

Thanks to my MOTOROLA Q I was able to look this game up to see what it was worth, r4/$50 ! hell yes!
It's for sale!

I could have told you the value without a lookup, I've been trying to get my hands on it for awhile. This is the reason I go to Cash Converters so often, because sometimes you find gems for really low prices. It's a shame I haven't found a really good game in awhile, mainly common games for good prices (Although that's still good).

I just got my eBay shipment in today and I'll most likely post pics tonight, same with the stack of Genesis titles I talked about the other week.

for the record the $50 DP price is WAY off. That DF copy there will get you $80, maybe $90.

Serious.

You could make an $85 profit.

I have insane Saturn finds too.

$19.00 each (fine by me...) at Value Village:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/intelli78/9b18d994.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/intelli78/64b02960.jpg

Both are factory sealed, and both are going to eBay very soon. Sealed games aren't fun.

Also got this for about $18 at a pawn shop:

I wish I were getting some of these nice finds at the pawn shops, rather I'm resorting to eBay for the time being. Next pay check I'll go out and do a nice search in hopes to find something.

What I just got today however are:
Battle Arena Toshinden Remix
Iron Man X-O Manowar in Heavy Metal
Crusader No Remorse
Shell Shock
Road Rash
Black Fire

And 3 others that don't matter because I'm reselling them elsewhere. The total price was around $32 after shipping. I should pull off a good $10+ from selling the 3 games I already own. The main game I was aiming for was Iron Man, but it's always nice to get some extra games. :D

Just thought I'd finally get round to putting my finds in this thread.

Starting with:

Gamecube:
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, New, for £4.99 from HMV

PS2:
Harvest Fishing, New, for £4.99 from GAME

Just ordered a load of stuff of ebay too but I'll wait till I get them before posting so I can include some pictures.

I rarely if ever post in this thread. I don't look for stuff like I used to anymore. Anyway, I found the following on Sunday at a Goodwill store.

PSX

Twisted Metal 2
Asteroids
Ghost In a Shell
G-Police
Ogre Battle
The Legend of Dragoon
Loaded (PAL)

Dreamcast

Sega Rally 2
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2
Shenmue
Metropolis Street Racer
Sonic Adventure (PAL)

Genesis

Soldiers of Fortune
Spiderman

All games are complete and NM. I paid 50 bucks for all. There were about 40 to 50 other games but I didn't want them. There was also a Miracle piano for NES without any connections and an Atari 5200 2 port with 4 controllers. I left them both.

I swear to god I greatly dislike sega, but I keep finding stuff (kids being obsessive complusive sucks)

but got these today after work from the local thrift:

http://www.green-ranger.com/nes/finds/saturn.jpg

35$ for the lot
the saturn with two controllers and plug with nights inside was 5$, the genesis with ac and two controlers was also 5$, the barebones snes came with rf for 4$
the snes games were 3-4 each and include
darius twin
fzero (non-greatest shits version)
joe and mac
super offroad baha (shitty majesco release version)
(darius is the only one i want so the rest are up for trade)

sonic 1 is complete with game book and poster and was 4$ (don't think i have a complete nfr version yet)

overall a pretty good haul, and all 3 of the systems are up for trade as I already have them all, but coudln't say no ;-)

Well, time to round up my finds for the month.
First up, a couple of weeks ago...
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b235/joshnickerson/June_05.jpg
I stopped at Kmart to see if I could score Custom Robo insanely cheap, but came up emptyhanded. Surprisingly, they still had some of the Wavebird/Mario Party 4 combos left for a mere $7.
Then at a pawn shop I happened upon a copy of Pokemon Puzzle League, Street Fighter 2 for the GB, and a complete Gameboy Camera, all five bux each. On a humorous side note, I decided to check out what was on the camera. There were a few pictures of random people, then about ten shots of what I assume was the previous owner's girlfriends... um, naughty bits. Ahrm...

I ended up visiting Virginia over the weekend for my sister's wedding, and ended up joining forces with Ulticron to do some hunting before the services. Twas fun, including a mad dash to the Circuit City sale in the nastiest storm EVAR. Here's what I scored...
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b235/joshnickerson/June_06.jpg
Super Princess Peach - $30 (Ulticron's Wally discount card)
Pokemon e-Cards and SMB3 Series 2 - $0.99 each
Namco Museum 64 - $5
Punch Out - $0.55
Kung-Fu - $0.55 (only purchased so I could repeatedly say in a spaced out Keanu voice... "I know Kung Fu")

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b235/joshnickerson/June_07.jpg
Go Go Hypergrind - $7.50
GCN Demo Version 26 (disc only) - $3.50
Ulticron also traded me some Sega stuff for two Cube demos (complete) and some random Mario displays.

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b235/joshnickerson/June_08.jpg
And finally, the big Circuit City sale
Pokemon Dash
Guilty Gear
Lunar DS
Dr. Mario/Puzzle League
Tales of Phantasia
Hopefully I can hit my CC Sunday and win big again.

Okay, pictures are in and picked up some new speakers today.

First off, the long awaited pile of Genesis (and some misc system) games:
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c196/cyberfluxor/genesis.jpg
I'm quite lazy, but because I have some free time tonight I'll sort through them and may update what games are in there and their quantity of duplicates (which I'm sure there are plenty of). About 98% of them are sports games. Total price was $15.

Second comes those late pictures of the Saturn games I got the other day in the mail:
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c196/cyberfluxor/saturn.jpg
The list is a few posts up and in the Saturn thread.

Lastely is my finds for day:
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c196/cyberfluxor/speakerz.jpg
It's not much of a thing for most of the posters here, but I found these at a pawn shop as an alternative to purchasing their up-priced games. Each pair was $5 so I couldn't resist and I'll cleaning these puppies tomorrow and hooking them up to my TV for additional sound. :D
Statistics from left to right:
Pioneer - 100W, 40~20kHz, 6 Ohm
Technics - 150W, 50~20kHz, 8 Ohm
Pioneer - 120W, 35~20kHz, 6.3 Ohm
All are 3-way so the Technics in my opinion are the best when looking at their info.

Sega Master System (loose w/ hookups and controller)
Ghostbusters (loose)
Shooting Gallery (loose)
Hang On/Astro Warrior (loose)
Thunder Blade (loose)
Sim City 2000 [Saturn] (complete)
Bust-A-Move 2 [Saturn] (complete)
Clockwork Knight 2 [Saturn] (complete)
Panzer Dragoon [Saturn] (complete)
Dragon Force [Saturn] (complete w/ Ram Cart)
Theme Park [Saturn] (complete)

and the real find in all of this:

Panzer Dragoon Saga (complete)

All of the discs need to be refurbed, but I paid $40 for everything listed above all together. So springing the extra $2 to get it all cleaned is no problem for me :D Especially since I already have a sealed PDS and wanted this copy so I could play through it. :D

Found a pair of Bose 601 I speakers in a dumpster the other day... need new woofer surrounds, but the kit is $30 on ebay! Even with bad woofers they sound amazing with my surround sound... they FILL the room with sound due to having 4 mid/tweets at the top in all different directions!

I'm primarily a toy collector, but I've got room for games too.

http://www.photogiga.com/out.php/i11201_28SuperRobotWarsSHUWATCH.JPG (http://www.photogiga.com)

-3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: 2940yen. Why haven't you heard about these games?

-Super Robot Wars MX: 800 yen. Haven't played this one yet, but I know I like it (already seen it in action).

http://www.photogiga.com/out.php/i11200_15Famicom.JPG (http://www.photogiga.com)

I'm hardcore, so I bought the troublesome '83 model.

-System: 2600 yen
-A/C Adapter: 1300 yen
-RF Switch: 1300 yen
-Total: 5200 yen...worth it? We'll see when I get back to the states. Until then...YES.

http://www.photogiga.com/out.php/i11202_27.5FMCGamesLotsm.JPG (http://www.photogiga.com)

Since I got the system, I had to buy some games, right? From the bottom, right to left:

-Zoids: 300 yen (only one so far that wasn't worth it)
-SD Battle Oozumo: 100 yen (sumo + Gundam)
-Goonies 1: 600 yen
-Faxanadu: 100 yen (bought it for the cheapitude)
-Gradius II: 700 yen
-Crisis Force: 700 yen
-Mach Rider: 300 yen (again, cheapness)
-Rockman 3: 300 yen (yeah!!)
-Getsufu Maden: 1450 yen (paid too much, found it the next day for just 780)
-Parodius: 399 yen (discounted for "dirty front")
-SD Hero something-or-other: 399 yen (haven't played it yet)
-Transformers Mystery of Convoy: 100 yen (totally crappy game, but worth 100 yen)
-Ninja Ryukenden (Gaiden) III: 480 yen, with box/instructions
-Dan Hibiki figure: Priceless, but I got it for 100 yen. :D

Not planning on buying too much more, but I think I'm going to pick up Castlevania III tomorrow for 1100 yen.

I posted this in the buying/selling section also. Yes all in one find. I bought out a local pawn shop going out of business. I gave him one price for everything video game in his shop. He did not even know he had 90% of that stuff. It has been sitting in boxes buried in his backroom. Since those pics have been taken I probally grabbed another 4-6 carloads.

Also I see you are in NY Xezyz. Where at? I live near the PA border

$20 a piece, and I picked up a Blades of steel NES cart with the red label for $1 with a dust sleeve. Passed on DOA4 and Condemned at the same price ($20), might go back for them later :)

How the hell do you keep getting 360 games for so cheap?

I posted this in the buying/selling section also. Yes all in one find. I bought out a local pawn shop going out of business. I gave him one price for everything video game in his shop. He did not even know he had 90% of that stuff. It has been sitting in boxes buried in his backroom. Since those pics have been taken I probally grabbed another 4-6 carloads.

Also I see you are in NY Xezyz. Where at? I live near the PA border

I'll have to give that thread a reading then. BTW I'm in the suburbs north of Syracuse.

My current week's 'finds' (though it wasn't all found.. some came in the mail):

I don't remember what I paid for everything, but I got a ton of stuff from Sean Kelly's store and a few items from Ebay while I was gone. Note the Vectrex carts - I don't even own one yet :/ My wife convinced me I needed to buy one.

The Atari 2600 6 switch came from a Value Village while I was in Canada.. all controllers for 9.99CDN.

The big prize for me this week was a brand new NTSC CD32 that I had ordered some months ago:

Last week, picked up a few Atari 8-bit common carts and a couple of common 2600 carts for $5 total at an indoor flea market in Houma, LA. I also picked up a Space Canyon Atari 2600 cart by Panda for $2, and a rusty and battered Pac-Man lunchbox for $15 at an antique store. Yesterday, while driving back from South Louisiana, I picked up Flash Gordon and Gangster Alley for the 2600 at another indoor flea market in Alexandria, LA.

I passed up a non-working Ms. Pac-Man arcade cabinet for $100. I didn't have any way of getting something that big home, and I wasn't sure if I could fix it. The guy at the store has it in storage, so it's not out where anyone could buy it. Hopefully, if my brother wants to gamble on it, I can get a big enough vehicle on my next visit down to Louisiana to haul it home.
