I was hoping to find some new ones but the only flea markets on there in Tucson are my regular one, one that went out of business 5 years ago, and one out in the ghetto that only sells new stuff. There is a swap meet out on the Tohono O'odahm reservation I need to check out sometime, but its a pretty long bus ride away.

I would go, but I don't want to deal with idiots who think a barebones N64 without hookups is worth $85 USD.

I snapped up one of the Galaga ornaments from the Hallmark store in the mall. I need to scout the stores in my area and see if they possibly have the 2008 Pac-Man ornament still in stock.

Now I need a Controller Pak to play it. Anyone have a spare or two they wouldn't mind selling me for a couple bucks?

The N64 was never my cup of meat but I've stuck with the last one I acquired and bought a few of the titles I really enjoy playing / have been interested in playing so this one has actually gotten some use over the past couple years. StarFox 64 and F-Zero X are a big part of that, but still.

As I've said many times, come on Pole Position for next year.

I've got a couple extra in my box. PM me and we can figure it out (tomorrow).

I find a few good things at the Tanque Verde Swap Meet occasionally, but not compared to what I was finding earlier in the year. What's really dried up this year is yard sales though, its not even worth going anymore.

That's funny. Garage sales (non-game wise) have been consistently awesome for me over the past 6 weeks, excluding one rained-out weekend. For instance, just last Saturday there was a church sale, a charity sale, and a family run estate sale in one morning. I found a complete set (well, missing only one issue) of MAD magazines from 1970-77, a Surf-A-Lele (you look it up and see for yourself...), a gold watch, and 2 gold rings.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

Where do you live where there are only 3 sales in one morning? I go to about 100 sales every Saturday morning. But last time I went all I found was a bin with a dirty SNES and some random cords for $3 and a cart only Goldeneye for $1. Maybe I should start looking at jewelry and stuff to flip since games are drying up.

No, there were tons of sales. It's just that those 3 were the best of the bunch. There were probably 50+ in the ad, but those 3 were the ones that really stood out. We're lucky to have one of those kinds of sales in the morning, you know, the kind where you spend $50 and make out like a bandit.

Also, that weekend myself and my dad had to see my sister at her band contest- almost 2 hours away. We had to cut off our garage sale-ing early that day and we only made it to a few.

I wound up checking out three thrifts and a Hollywood Video yesterday. Didn't get anything at the Hollywood Video, but I bought something at each of the thrifts.

    At the first thrift:

    NES:
    Ice Hockey (complete) - $1.50
Tecmo Super Bowl (cart only) - 75 cents

    At the second:

    Genesis:
    Ghouls 'N Ghosts (complete) - $4.99

    At the third:

    Game Boy:
    Taz-Mania (cart only) - $1.68

    October 2004 Nintendo Power - 99 cents

The Nintendo Power features a Street Racing Syndicate poster. On the back of the Tecmo Super Bowl cart, there's a strip of masking tape where someone wrote "Check out to only T.J. and no exceptions."

Wow, 100 sales? How much money in gas do you spend?

I wonder if people realize that has to be added to the cost of their "finds"?

So yea I found an snes and 20 games for $10 but I spent $50 in gas driving around all day, not to mention the wear and tear on my vehicle which can't be calculated but will shorten the life of my vehicle.

I actually do this all the time and that’s why I don’t go out of my way for yard sales the finds don’t outweigh the time/gas, I’ll stop at 1 or 2 if there on the way to a flea market or thrift though. I usually go with a group of 2 or more and eating out is inevitable so I also factor that in too. It’s an average of $10~20 for the weekend depending on where we go/eat. I don't post that but it is something that I add for myself.

Too true. I just don't think I've gone to 100 yard sales in an entire summer, maybe two, let alone one day. If I hit 10, maybe 12 thats a good morning. Now I don't count street sales which I've been to which might be 50 homes but you're usually walking the whole thing.

I'd have to hit every sale in my city, county and southern ontario to hit 100

I uh. Just found a CIB Golf (NES) and...

A sealed 10-Yard Fight. (I'm 95% sure it's legit, since it has a horizontal seam.)

    No pictures, I'm having breakfast.

Here's what I picked up at the local Value Village. I think I paid too much for them at about 3.99 each.

That appears to be Value Villages universal price for old games now. Every time I go there, all SNES, NES, Genesis, A2600 games etc are all 3.99
