Not bad. It's basically another sidescrolling dungeon crawler with Ben 10 characters pasted into it. Thankfully, it wasn't as difficult as many other dungeon crawlers (which may or may not entice some people). Worth a play for the cost.

17. Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Although I felt it dragged on a bit in Mexico, it was a rather enjoyable game. The Wild West was a nice change of scenery from the normal war settings most games tend to have now and got me to watch a few Western movies in the process.
18. Alan Wake (360) - Rather enjoyable game, the story got me very involved and I ended up flying right through the game because of it. A few horror games could learn a lesson from this game and I wouldn't mind seeing Remedy making the next Silent Hill/Alone in the Dark games since their use of light and dark was excellent.

I wanted to like this one, but I didn't. The concept is neat and the art is good, but everything else falls flat. Speaking of falling flat, I think this one should be renamed "Faith Goes Splat," because that's what I spent most my the time doing. For a game about "free running," you're forced to do a lot of things in very specific ways.

Then again, I just hate EA and console FPS. That might explain why I didn't like it.

Yeah, I beat the SSE on SSBB for the first time in years. I don't have all the characters yet, nor did I plow through the game as quickly as I did the first time around, but I did still enjoy it...aside from all the tripping.

Took me the better part of the day, and I stayed up until 1:30 finishing it. It was... enjoyable... I played the demo a while back and hated it, but after Christmas last year I got it with a DualShock 3 for $45 on Amazon. Considering that I just wanted the controller, and saved money, the game was practically free. I didn't have high expectations, considering how I disliked the demo, but it was fun enough to play through. I've heard people say it's short, but I think it's just long enough for what it is. The cutscene animations seemed a bit robotic, but I'm not used to non-Japanese character animation. Not sure if I want to play the sequel or not, at least not right away.

I beat Sacred 2 again last night, but obviously can't list it again. So I decided to finally play Flow. I got this game for free that one day it was PSN for free so I decided to give it a go.

This game sucks, and by sucks, I mean this game is an unplayable piece of shit. The game controls by tilting the controller and I thought it'd be fine considering I've played the racing on GTA4 with the tilt controls on. Most of the time the game didn't know what it wanted as sometimes you turned left to turn right and right to turn left, others you turned left to turn left and right to turn right. Spinning the controller around and around a lot of the time just trying to get that red circle just so I can complete the game.

I deleted it once finishing it. Too bad I can't also remove it from my trophy list. Two trophies that I got were turning on the game and finishing the game. The third trophy I got was "Swift" for finishing one of the campaigns within 120 seconds. I wasn't specifically going for it, just got it because the game sucks so much balls I wanted to get done with it quickly.

Finished Galaxy 1, onto Galaxy 2. SMG was fantastic except for the small blemish waggle control left on the game. Really, did we need so much of it? With a regular controller, the game is literally perfect. Why screw that up? Anyway, 110/120 stars is good enough for me. Just like Sunshine, I got all the non-purple coin stars and a few of the purple coin stars. I'm satisfied.

Initially, I didn't want to play this. It looked like all the other edgy crap on the market today. But, I was finally talked into in and I'm glade that I was. While the initially 'OMG BLOOD LOL' effect wears off after a bit, the humor, gameplay and hilarious story telling lasts for the whole game and beyond. Worth a look for anyone who has a Wii.

Uncharted and Duck Tales 2.

Uncharted is much more enjoyable the second half of the game than it is the first half. Good gameplay and good storyline.

Today was also the first time I've ever put more than five minutes into Duck Tales 2 and also completed it. Definitely not as good as the first.

After all these years, I finally beat Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns for the Atari 5200. I finally decided to sit my ass down and conquer that game, a game that has kicked my butt since my earliest memories in the 80s of playing games, around 4 or 5 years old. I haven't sat down and played it in a LONG time, but I'm glad I finally did. This is a HUGE accomplishment for me. Sure it might not be the biggest challenge there is, but this will be the best feeling I'll probably have after beating a game I'll ever have. :D

Uncharted 2. Beat this yesterday. Game is really good. Started a new game on hard difficulty and about a third of the way through. Probably will play a bit more up until the sort of long platform portion of the game and then stop playing the story and try out the multiplayer and then move onto another game. I'll finish hard and crushing difficulty sometime later.

I'm either going to start back up on Final Fantasy 12 or play more of Yakuza 3. Still need to finish Monster Hunter Freedom Unite also.

Finally decided to finish this out today, I was doing a limited equipment run, so I was only using equipment I absolutely had to get during the game's progression. Most of the game was pretty easy, although the bosses were pretty tough without the main character having any magic. The last couple of boss fights were really tough and came down to luck to win, these fights really made me appriciate all the buff spells that we have in a lot of other RPGs. Either way, this was a nice trip down memory lane and the limited equipment run gave it that extra challenge to keep the game entertaining.

Today I beat TMNT: The Arcade Game on 360 and also.....um, Blond Justice on the 3DO. Well, you can't really beat it(hehe) as much as watch it. It's suppose to be an interactive adventure but the only way you really interact with it is by pressing "A" at the beginning of each chapter.

Finished Shadow Complex last night. I played through about 95% of the game last August when it came out. For some reason I stopped playing with no idea how close I was to the end. Fired it up last night and realized I only had the final battle to go. Finished it 15 minutes later.

Cleared Gunstar Heroes (Normal) on the Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box (PS2) today. Golden Silver was giving me some trouble but I lucked out in the final jewel attack. Terrific game.

Dracula X Rondo of Blood. It's called Castlevania Rondo of Blood when loading the game up on the PSP version. The Castlevania title makes it sound weird. Anyways, this is actually only the fourth time I've ever beaten the game, but I've beaten Dracula X Chronicles a hundred or more. Two of the times was on an emulator before DXC was ever released.

Anyways. Dracula X Chronicles is by far the better game. The level design was cleaned up(stage 7 and 5' are much better) and the bosses are no longer too easy or too hard. They all atleast have decent difficulty. Candles were replaced on DXC to be at the height of Richter's jump, so you have no need to whip late to hit them, as well as the fact that when you whip them you'll collect the item immediately rather than Rondo making you go through the items if you try to collect them immediately from attacking the candle.

This game was way longer than the last two, but well worth it. It's amazing to me how they tied events from the previous two games into the third one in a way that was both shocking and entertaining. I love picross games, I really do. This was a great little game (and at $20 on release day, it was an extra special little game). Some of the puzzles were challenging as all hell (25x25 grid on a DS screen? Madness...). If you like cheap, fun puzzle games, pick this up.

3) Batman Arkahm Asylum (PS3) Phe-nom-e-nal!!! 77% complete time to go back and get everything I missed
4) Legends of Wrestlemania (PS3) Demo looked amazing graphics wise wrestling games have come so far from the classics. The game itself is much easier than any recent WWE game, so I blew through all Wrestlemania modes of Relive, Rewrite, and Redefine. After that I blew through all of the Legend Killer Modes. In my "spare gaming time" I will go back to accomplish all of the trophies.
5) Super Mario Bros. Wii so freakin awesome I will be playing through this many times more.
6) Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks (DS) Seemed much more difficult than Phantom Hourglass, but as always very enjoyable

Haha, what an odd game. You play this kid who want to impress this chick, but he needs a stronger heart. So he goes around helping people and then kissing them, which somehow strengthens his heart. It's odd, frustrating and a bit annoying at times, but a lot of fun all the way around.

1) F.E.A.R. (360)
2) Resident Evil 5 (360 2 player) Did anyone else find this game insanely frustrating? I never wanted to snap a game disc in 1/2 before so bad in my life.
3) Batman Arkahm Asylum (PS3) Phe-nom-e-nal!!! 77% complete time to go back and get everything I missed
4) Legends of Wrestlemania (PS3) Demo looked amazing graphics wise wrestling games have come so far from the classics. The game itself is much easier than any recent WWE game, so I blew through all Wrestlemania modes of Relive, Rewrite, and Redefine. After that I blew through all of the Legend Killer Modes. In my "spare gaming time" I will go back to accomplish all of the trophies.
5) Super Mario Bros. Wii so freakin awesome I will be playing through this many times more.
6) Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks (DS) Seemed much more difficult than Phantom Hourglass, but as always very enjoyable.
7) Resistance Fall of Man (PS3) Purchased before I got my PS3 just over a year ago, but it ended up in the backlog after I got married. Big mistake. Letting the game fall into the backlog that is. Time to get a copy of Resistance 2.
