Finished Halo: Reach on Legendary, Solo this morning. Took the better part of a month to get through all 10 levels. I don't think I was fully prepared for how frustratingly difficult some parts were going to be. Glad it's done.

Beat the last boss in Dragon Quest 9 yesterday. Total play time: 56 hours. I've played it off and on for the past 3 months.

According to the strategy guide, once you beat the game "You've just gotten started". They may be on to something, considering there are in-game awards for playing 100, 500, 750, and 1000+ hours. Not really planning on getting any of those...lol.

It's been a long time since I've been able to play a R&C game, but it was worth the wait. I've always loved this series and this game didn't disapoint. Awesome music, amazing visuals, it's got all of it. I didn't like that there are parts that require the use of a sixaxis controller (which I don't own), but I'm glad they thought to build in a way to disable that (although, it does make one of the weapons completely unuseable).

Lots of fun. It was nice seeing stages and bosses that were improved references to previous games. Didn't care for the shortness, large price tag and screwed up momentum. For those who don't know what that means, when Sonic has built up momentum and jumps, in all previous games he'll keep going in the direction you inidcated for the jump, even if you let go of the controller. However, this game requires you to hold the direction you want Sonic to move during a jump, or he'll stop dead in the air.

I had read alot about how this game was a decent Metroidvania type of game and I'm glade I decided to give it a try. It's lots of fun and has a number of fun transformations. About the only things I took issue with were the sparce teleporting spots, forcing the player to re-do entire levels for few items. And the difficulty. It's an easy game, even on hard difficulties, which isn't a bad thing, but it's easy to the point that the game seems short as hell in comparison.

Chronicles of Riddick Escape From Butcher Bay. If I was a fan of stealth and fps I would have liked it more, but for what was I thought it was a great game. I like stealth games less than fps games so would have rather had more action oriented parts where stealth wasn't involved than parts that were just stealth.

NEW: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3) - Normal setting... decent game, but flawed - loading times were way too long, certain force combinations seemed totally useless for every situation, difficulty changes were all over the map.

Urban Reign. A really good but extremely hard beat em up. Early on you'll be just getting used to playing, dodging, etc, but once you master the controls, later on you'll be playing mission that you'll be restarting over and over because how overpowered the enemies are in comparison to you. It's like their stats are twice yours maxed out. While the game isn't as good as God Hand, It's a lot better than your standard beat em up. It's gameplay is a sort of mix between a fighting game and beat em up. You don't have too many combo possibilities but a lot more than on your standard beat em ups like Streets of Rage, Final Fight, or those that follow that formula.

After finishing the game you can replay any of the 100 missions in free play to get more characters to play and ranks. You can unlock challenge mode which is your standard survival mode, then there's versus which is unlocked from the start, but you'll have more characters to choose from the further into the game you are and how much you've completed after finishing the game. Marshall Law and Paul Phoenix are also unlockable characters.

It's really too bad the Tekken 6 story mode wasn't as well done as this game.

I finished Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare on Sunday. Pretty damn good. Best DLC I've bought so far in fact. Definitely more fun shooting zombies than random outlaws.
