Not at all. I liked RE2 (any console... doesn't matter which version). I didn't like the rest, because they were inferior. That's consistent. It's equivalent to saying, "I liked Empire Strikes Back, but the other movies were poor/boring."
re: Gamecube discs:
I've got a lot of CD-singles (3") dating from the early 90s. So the Gamecube discs were nothing special to me. They just looked like tiny CDs.
