NEW - Gremlins 2: The New Batch (NES) - Years ago, this was a game that my friend had, and we played it when I went to visit. Sadly, he passed away. Somewhere between then and when I started playing it for real, I decided that I wanted to finish this game in honour of his memory. It started with saving the passwords, and fighting to get past the tough levels, but I still couldn't beat the end boss using this method. So I decided that the best method would be to play it from the start, and accumulating as many 1ups as the game would allow. I was close last night (yesterday morning), but I finally got the job done this morning.

NEW: 4: Super Mario World (SNES) - Just wanted to play it again, because it's been a LONG time. The rust definitely showed, and it was weird that it came up in levels that aren't usually a problem. A few hours, plenty of swearing, and *96 later, it was all good again.

Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary.

While a good game as the first Final Fantasy is a great game and hard to screw up, when the back of the box says the definitive Final Fantasy, it is. It's the definitive version if we're talking about the worst version.

Now the game is exactly like Dawn of Souls, better graphics, higher quality music, more music such as boss music from FF3, FF4, FF5, and FF6 remixed, which there are two from FF5 as Gilgamesh is the only boss in the game(aside from Chaos) who gets his own music. It's even got one more dungeon that FFDoS doesn't have. There's also the effects such as clouds moving over the towns or light coming through in Elfland, looks very very good.

Now the reason I think it's the worst(as I've listed just about everything being better than FFDoS so you'd wonder why.) What the hell was Squaresoft thinking when they decided to put a circular border around half of the screen when in caves and even 2000 years in the past? It's not as bad when it's got the black border, but when it has the white circular border like it does in the Temple of Fiends 2000 years in the past it looks like crap and is extremely bothersome to walk around that way. What's even more stupid is that they messed up and one area in the Temple of Fiends 2000 years in the past has no white circular border around it and it looks very nice.

Other than that retarded as hell design choice I loved the game. However, due to that it's easily the worst version.

Been meaning to add this one. Just hours before SoulSilver was released, I finished up my Pikachu-only run through the game, which to be honest, wasn't that hard at all; the hardest part was getting up and going right at the start of the game.

What an amazing remake. All the Pokemon love I remember from the orginal games, but with all the crap that has been made since. It was nice to have the basic story fleshed out a bit, with newer bits added. Plus, having access to the Crystal events was a great bonus. Anyone who hasn't played the orginals or were fans at the time needs to give this a whirl. I haven't actually bothered to mess about with the Pokewalker, but I read good things about it.

I really enjoyed this one and I have to say that it's an amazing remake of one of my favorite Mega Man games, Capcom did an excellent job with this game and it's a real shame that neither this or Powered Up received sequels. With that I'm ready for some Mega Man 10 tomorrow.

4) Legends of Wrestlemania (PS3) Demo looked amazing graphics wise wrestling games have comes so far from the classics. The game itself is much easier than any recent WWE game, so I blew through all Wrestlemania modes of Relive, Rewrite, and Redefine. After that I blew through all of the Legend Killer Modes. In my "spare gaming time" I will go back to accomplish all of the trophies.
5) Super Mario Bros. Wii so freakin awesome I will be playing through this many times more.

Breath of Fire. By far the worst in the series. Everything is good in the game except the battle system is pretty boring and bland as well as so many parts in the game you might have to talk to one character that you're given no clue to talk to to advance the story. It also likes to make you go through some of the same dungeons two or even three times to progress. Atleast we can be thankful for BoF for being the start of an amazing series with the four games following it being some of the best RPG titles of all time.

Being a fan of the original, I tend to think that more recent Harvest Moon games are bogged down with too much crap and not enough of what made the original amazing. Well, Magical Melody is about as close to the original that you can get while still balancing all the new fangled toys that have been tacked on in previous versions. It's actually a very balanced game with a clear goal outside of whatever the player decided to do. Being that it's a rather cheap game to pick up now, I'd recommend any series fan to pick this up.

Sacred 2. Really good game. I like Diablo 2, but I thought character builds in this game were much better, also you're not going through a bunch of areas that are exactly the same dependent on the chapter you're in or the one special looking area.

An excellent remake of probably the best of the Pokemon games so far, I think not playing this game for so long made me truly appreciate how good the second generation games really were. These games along with all the additions made the the series from the third and fourth generation easily make this (along with SoulSilver) the best Pokemon games to date, it's going to take a lot of Nintendo to top what they've done here, but I'll be interested to see what they do with Black and White.

Oh, the epic 8-bit GRAPHIXS!!! Pretty game is pretty. This is a mans Mega Man game, the bosses don't fuck around. Interestingly, I hear this is considered one of the worst games in the series, I'd always assumed it was thought as such due to it essentially being the sixth game in a line of the same thing.

Graphics, thousands of them. Audio, thousands of them. Voice acting, WHY IS THERE THOUSANDS OF THEM. Honestly, if it wasn't for that, this game would be very near perfect. That and not grainy anime cut scenes.

A wonderful little collection. Especially if you've never played a Mega Man game and would like to find an affordable way to do so. The interface is a bit unimpresive and boring, but the collection is well organized. Definatly worth picking up. Might want to look into the PS2 version, I'm given to understand the GCN version has wonky controls in comparison.

I've said this a few times, but I'm not much for puzzle games. But this was charming. It's not a particularly hard game, it just takes a little time and practice. I'd think it would be worth most peoples times to spend a few hours messing with it.
