After going through hell and back, I managed to take down the final boss. It's probably one of the hardest bosses I've faced in recent memory, but I managed to pull through in the end with less than 30 seconds left on the timer. Now, with that out of the way, I think I'll focus on some other games; like the first Disgaea.

No, not Dragon Quest 9. Set the game aside for now because it's starting to bore me a bit. While I still think it's a good game, it's one of the worst Dragon Quest titles in my opinion.

Saw Aussie2B was playing Castlevania Lament of Innocence and decided to play it. Really good game I think. I love the combat system, so went through got 100% on most areas but not everything in a single playthrough just yesterday. I've already beaten the game in @Crazy and would have done so again, but I didn't have a system save on my PS3 so I started a new game in normal.

My journey has come to a close, as Monday looms around the corner to send me back to work. Of the games I beat over the weekend, Mega Man 4 wasn't too bad; it's just that the music wasn't quite up-to-par with the rest of the series and the Pharaoh Shot was a bit overpowered; making things a little unfair. MM5, on the other hand, is still my favorite; it fixed everything that I found wrong with MM4, which made for a game I consider to be almost better than MM2. MM6, while not quite as awesome as the previous game, was still an enjoyable game.

Now, I think I'll take a break from the series for a while to tackle some of the other games I've left hanging...

A friend of mine happened to have this, so he let me give it a shot. Very fun game, but a bit on the easy side. Having half the levels be mirrored versions of previous levels was kinda lame, but it's really funny to screw up a room you already perfected just because you're going a different way.

Same friend had this as well, so we spent a few hours with it. Much more wordy and graphicly appealing than Dragon's Lair (harder too, but for different reasons).

49. Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp

0_o What a strange game. Super easy on the DVD edition, as when it's time to do something, the game pauses for a second or two for you to think. And the game is trippy as hell.

Half Minute Hero. Finally went ahead and completed everything. Started and finished Knight 30, Hero 300, and Hero 3 today. I got 32 seconds, true hero ranking on Hero 3, so might go back later to try and get under 30.

Anyways. Knight 30 and Hero 30 were the two most enjoyable, though Knight 30 slightly has the edge. EvilLord 30 was pretty good, and Princess 30 didn't really like it too much but liked the story.

Finished Crackdown 2 last night. In classic fashion, I only had one mission left for the past month and had no idea. Disappointing game overall. Just another example of an open-world sequel being significantly worse than the original (Just Cause 2 being the exception).

Just beat Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game.

Fuck. That game was NOT built for one player to finish on their own.

Needed to max out all my levels and buy the maximum number of extra lives allowed to stand a chance, also, I'm pretty sure that the standard enemies attack strength scales up WITH yours so if you're grinding for cash in the early levels you're still met with a bit of a challenge.

Great game. Makes me wish that somebody in Japan would get off their ass and make a current gen Kunio/River City Ransom game (and then a US publisher would localize it).

My first MH game and I loved it. I've so far poured just under 80 hours into it, about 30 online and 50 offline. I've still got loads to do on it and will probably put another 10 or so into the offline mode. If I ever get back online, it will easily be another 50.

22. The Darkness - Another game I didn't expect much from, I picked this up during one of those Gamestop sales a while back and threw it to the side after playing it for about a half hour. The other day I gave it another go and was very impressed with it, it's one of those games that starts off weak in the beginning and really picks up once the actual story kicks in. Minus a few glitches here and there (pro tip: don't watch TV with Jenny, you'll be stuck there forever), it's a very well crafted game.

I absolutely loved this one. I completely disagree with the negative reviews, and feel that it deserves no less than a 9.9. Star Wars the Force Unleashed. Garbage.

Very first time I've played the game the game glitched on the first boss where the camera screwed up. Other than walking out of view of the camera, I was stuck on the very bottom left of the screen as there was an invisible wall when the camera glitched. I'm playing it in the hardest mode now and it worked fine the second time I fought him.

Then less than an hour less the game glitched while I was fighting a group of enemies and restarted me at the last checkpoint(game screen looked like a bad vhs tape.) After that in the next area I force pushed my way into a room and then when I was trying to walk out it wouldn't let me. I had to save and restart.

The gameplay wasn't even good. Some combos that are designed to fit with each other, but pretty much no other attacks fit with another. It just wasn't fun to play. This piece of crap has an average score of more than 70% according to Game Rankings. The amount of bugs it had that I found on my first playthrough. The game would have to be absolutely flawless for me to give it the same score. I'd give it a 1/5 because the Star Wars themed music and some small bits of story is really all they got right.

NEW: Dragon Warrior (NES) - Done this many times before, and I thought that I posted that I had finished this one. At any rate, I had wanted to max out, but I just went ahead at level 22 or 23. I have since maxed out and annihilated the Dragonlord

NEW: Mega Man X (SNES) - pretty rusty, but I knew most of the basics, where to find everything, and the easter egg. Almost got the game over on Launch Octopus' stage (damn f****** spikes), but I boosted my free lives, and never looked back.
