Now to the ones I don't know:

http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/1285/dsc0011.jpg (http://img824.imageshack.us/i/dsc0011.jpg/)

I would love some help with these and can provide larger images to any who can help. Here's what I do know, again top to bottom, left to right

Some Tile game with "Yakuman" on it?
A Konami game "Vector" and "4" on it?
A Mario game or compilation maybe?
Konami game
A Bandai game "SD" in title
A Kemco game "Selection"?
Banpresto game for "Super Game Boy" compilation or pirate? Cart looks standard
Epoch game - no idea, 1991
A Tomy game "Ninku"?
A Bandai game "Lacroan Heroes"?
A Banpresto game "Detective Conan"?
Bandai game, 1993 DMG-K4J

Oh, by the way this was all an ebay Buy-It-Now deal for $55 USD, but I upgraded the shipping to EMS for $24 more. so, $79 delivered and it seems like a good deal to me.

1: Yakuman
2: ??
3: Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
4: ??
5: SD Gundam Gaiden (??)
6: ??
7: Puyo Puyo
8: Doraemon
9: Ninku
10: SD Gundam Gaiden - Lacroan' Heroes
11: Meitantei Conan (Detective Conan)
12: Crayon Shin Chan game (no clue which one)

You need a bigger picture, I can't make out most of those titles.

Shit. I had to click on Ryaan1234's link to that Deee-Lite album on Amazon. Now all I'm getting for recommendations are crappy deee-lite stuff.

Also, meant to put this in my last post. Had an odd freebie find quite a while ago:
http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww75/evanwink42/Finds/finds220c.jpg
Disc turns out to be burned. I was out back not doing anything particular and decided to check out the drawers in this desk thing:
http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww75/evanwink42/Finds/finds220c1.jpg

Found this stuff in there and scooped it out. There was also an ancient bag of cinnamon toast crunch, but I left that for the next treasure-seeker.

Those look to be mostly recentish set cards, but whats the one gold card in the center looks like it might be from legends or dark?

Some Tile game with "Yakuman" on it? - Yakuman Mahjong
A Konami game "Vector" and "4" on it? - need a closer look
A Mario game or compilation maybe? - Looks like Marioland
Konami game - need a closer look...possibly castlavania
A Bandai game "SD" in title - SD Gundam
A Kemco game "Selection"? - need a closer look
Banpresto game for "Super Game Boy" compilation or pirate? Cart looks standard -Puyo Puyo
Epoch game - no idea, 1991 - Doraemon
A Tomy game "Ninku"? - Yes, it's called ninku
A Bandai game "Lacroan Heroes"? -Again, that's the name
A Banpresto game "Detective Conan"? -yes again
Bandai game, 1993 DMG-K4J - Crayon Shin Chan (I think, it's kinda flashed out)

I know very little about MTG. I played some way back when... when the mox diamond came out, cause I got that card at a tourney I was sort of dragged to when whatever that set is came out. Still have it actually. Anyway, tried to figure out what you were talking about, so I flipped through the cards. Could you be seeing the Shinen of Stars' Light? More likely I think you are referring to a Razorfin hunter.

Yeah, and buying CDs based soley on their cover art is a terrible habit of mine. Many an ear has been raped because of it.

Wait a sec, was the Assassin's Creed II soundtrack a digital-only release? o_O

They produced a few disc copies for promotional purposes; I have the same one although I got it directly from JK's public relations rep.

So, for the first time ever I used a website to get old games from other people. Two weeks ago I saw an unusual Genesis lot posted on my local craigslist. I say unusual because it was just 10 games with no picture, no system, no sonic games, and no sports games. I finally met up with the guy earlier this week, and for $40 I got the following:

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/th_IM000561.jpg (http://s167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/?action=view&current=IM000561.jpg)

All were listed as complete except for Mortal Kombat, which was missing the manual. Thankfully Chakan and Mortal Kombat, the two games I had no interest in, were the only ones in rough shape. Everything else is pretty good. Phantasy Star IV is in excellent shape aside from the crushed bottom flap, and I finally, finally, finally got a complete copy of Gunstar Heroes, the game that basically got me into retro game collecting 7 years ago. I can't wait to try out Strider Returns, I remember it being pretty bad back during the Sega Channel days.

I think I'm going to become addicted to craigslist too.

Dock sale again, and not much in the way of video game stuff...

Orange NES zapper - $0.50
Gotcha: The Sport (NES) - $0.50
Age of Mythology: The Titans - $1.00

I've been wanting the AoM expansion for a while, and as I type this it's installing on my computer.

Also ("Let's make Kitsune Sniper jealous" time!)

Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Professional edition, cib (with library, CD key, and all the etc. and utilities) - $2.00 (No telling how this ended up here...)

RAAAAAAAAAAAARGH *kills you*

:P

I bought two things today.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-06-10a.jpg

Digital Image Suite 9 was $2, and that other thing was $2. I found it in a booth and read that it was an AMC set, so I figured it would have a bunch of promo documentaries and stuff (you know, the "For Your Consideration" ones?) and asked for a price... $2. The seller wanted to open it but I told him no, I want it to be a gift. I told him it was a photo album. Yeah, I lied, but he would've upped the price to $20 if he'd opened it.

Speaking of...

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-06-10b.jpg

The binder contained the following movies:
Clive Barker's Hellraiser
Halloween 25th Anniversary Edition
Dracula: The Legacy Collection (one single sided disc, one dual sided disc)
Frankenstein: The Legacy Collection (one single sided disc, one dual sided disc)
Child's Play (older, extra-less release)

I wanted to get those Legacy Collection flicks... :)

Passed on:
Rock Band (PS2). The seller wanted $5. I said that the price was too low. Yes, I could've gotten the game but I don't have the instruments other than the microphone. After I told her it was too cheap, she said she'd bundle it with a PS2 instead, which is better for her anyway.

I guess I needed to balance my karma after the DVD thing.

I wasn't sure if I should just post this in "What was the last CD..." but I think it qualifies as a find, even if it's just eBay. You guys like electronica, right?

This lot was $56 + $18 shipping from A Different Drum. Every once in a while they clear out old stock, and I'm one of the few people that bid on these awesome boxes. All I had to go on was the picture, and Todd the label owner didn't give any kind of list, so I knew that opening it would be a surprise. I already had 26 of the included CDs, but there's 41 that I don't have already, and it all looks really good. There's a few in here that I've been really wanting (Reconnect, A Perfect Wreck 2CD, Devolution Tour, Red Dawn...), and plenty I've never heard of. It's mostly stuff published by ADD or 9th Wave, but there's a few oddballs in here that should be interesting to hear.

paid $350 for everything, not everything is pictured because it is taking up my entire living room.

not bad because basically selling some of the ps1 games like brigandine, a mint arc the lad collection, all the resident evils, in the hunt long box, final doom and more i can't think of will make up my money, then there are about 100 more ps1 games that i'm probably going to get a booth at the swap meet and sell. then there are multiple copies of kotor 1 and 2, and most of those copies of halo and halo 2 are sealed with the microsoft strip on them. the things already wrapped in cardboard paper are wii zappers, there are 19 brand new wii zappers most of them they had already wrapped up. and i did open a couple to make sure something is in there. :D there are also about 10 brand new official ps2 memory cards, 10-20 new psp batteries, 20 ps1 systems all with cords, a few gba games like final fantasy legends I-III, and probably even more i can't remember right now or haven't noticed. she also included a bunch of shipping supplies including about 100 bubble mailers.

there is a stack of bootleg games and while a couple i can understand like thrill kill, they burned the weirdest games. is nba live 02 and madden 99 even worth a cdr?

this was from a reseller and ps1 collector that got another job and wanted to get rid of all their stuff. it all barely fit in my friend's geo metro and we had to bungee cord some of the ps1s to the roof. :D

The poster is really that hard to find? The used copy I bought about five years ago was absolutely complete. Come to think of it, that's the ONLY time I recall seeing one like that. All the other copies I've found since then (about two) only had the bare "insert" instructions.

Xexyz - I sorted them out and found everything that will sell for over $5, here's the list:

Final Fantasy VII
Metal Gear Solid
Contra Legacy of War
Resident Evil Director's Cut
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
Resident Evil Survivor
Fear Effect
Fear Effect 2
Bushido Blade
Bushido Blade 2
Carnage Heart
Threads of Fate
Granstream Saga
Arc The Lad Collection (MINT with everything)
Brigandine
Final Doom
In The Hunt longbox
Doom longbox
Wrestlemania The Arcade Game (sells for $5 surprisingly)
LEGO Rock Raiders
Toy Story 2
Duke Nukem Time To Kill
Vigilante 8 x2
Vigilante 8 Second Offense
Tomb Raider 1,2,3,4,Last Revelation, Chronicles
NBA Jam TE Longbox

Some odd titles because after I realized the last NBA Jam TE on eBay sold for $55, I looked up every single game. :D There are around 75-100 in another pile to go to the swap meet or whatever I end up doing with them.

Not amazing, but I'm not complaining considering it also came with 20 sealed wii zappers ($15+ on Amazon), 13 PSP batteries ($7 on Amazon), 20 new official PS2 memory cards ($8 on Amazon), 18 PS1 consoles, all with cords ($16 on Amazon), multiple copies of KOTOR and sealed copies of Halo (don't have an exact list because I haven't started listing and inventorying the Xbox and PS2 games yet, a big box of memory cards for various systems, around 100 unused bubble mailers, plus other random things like rolls of tape, a DVD drive, a new PSP screen protector, like 8 multitaps.

The only problem is I don't know where the hell to store the zappers and the PS1s.

Tetris 2 (Game Boy) brand new and sealed (I think...) for $8 at an estate sale.

Ummm.... the seal on this game does not have an H-seam. How are original Game Boy games usually sealed? I understand that there are some exceptions to the H-seam rule. The seam on this runs along the bottom, top and left sides of the box. I think it's an original seal because of the box under it; it's minty and everything and looks to never have been opened.

It wasn't uncommon for people to go to GameStops/EB/Funcoland and take the cases to the games. Burn a disc, slap it in that case and now its like a real one!

Its kinda funny how you can go to a dozen garage sales and a big thrift store one day (yesterday) and find squat, then the next day go to 1 sale and score big. Well, medium anyway.

Yesterday all I found was the GBC stuff. At least it was a great deal. The woman had boxes of stuff, nothing put out. On top of one was a boxed power joy, so I asked if she had any other video game stuff and she shuffled through and pulled the GBC out. I asked how much and she said "I don't know what do you think?" I hesitated but was about to offer $3 when she said "We'd planned on just doing $1 for toys, but I think someone gave that to us anyway, so you can just have it." I wasn't quite sure I heard her right, but I said $1 was no problem and paid her. Same sale had a Burley bike trailer for $25 (which is a steal), but no way I could fit it in the car and I wasn't really close enough to home to come back for it.

The blank game is Donkey Kong Country. I was expecting Tony Hawk or some other junk.

The TI stuff and below was from a single sale today. It was raining hard this morning so I didn't head out. Cleared up around 10 so we walked to the post office. Saw a sale sign at the corner so we walked by, about 2 blocks out of my way, so no big deal.

http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww75/evanwink42/Finds/finds221b.jpg

First thing I saw was the Nomad for $5, so I scooped that up. I realized after I got home that I never actually opened the box. Fortunately it was in there, with the elusive Gen2 a/v cord even! Took lots of tries to get it to register a game, I almost gave up, but then I got the copyright screen and a few more tries got me the SEGA logo. Needs to be cleaned, but should be fine.

Next to the nomad was the box of TI-99 games. I know jack about TI-99, but you'll be hard pressed to present a box of games like that for $5 that I'll turn down. Thought after a little looking that Connect Four and Star Trek might be the quite rare versions, but now I don't think so (can anyone confirm?). Grabbed the Eternal Champions guide since it was there and I figured they'd throw it in for free (and they did). Last, in a box of toys was a small rubbermaid with the lego set in it. For $1. Hell, I've seen people selling just those rubbermaids for $1. The plane has all but 1 piece, so the wing tips aren't right, and the set should have a mobile stairway that is missing, but I'm not complaining. Nor is my son who has been playing with it all day.

Also got a pretty cool wall-mount Grain Belt bottle opener for a buck.

Passed on a Super Pong for $5 and another pong clone for $1, both loose. I actually have a few pong clones, but mine are all boxed. Plus I wouldn't have been able to fit them in the stroller.

edit: Forgot my to include stuff from my "new game buying binge" I've been on:
http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww75/evanwink42/Finds/finds221c.jpg
both from GameStop.com. They changed this deal pretty quickly to where you had to spend $40 to get NSMB (or any of several other games) for half off, but I was lucky and got in before that happened.
NSMBW (new)- $17.50 + tax
Soul Bubbles (used) - $6.99 (fortunately came CIB) - needed a little filler for this deal, and I'd been looking to get this game ever since someone here (Bratwurst?) wrote about how this game was made by a fellow classic game collector.

Just got back from a church sale. It was pretty crappy, I was 3rd in line. I got 2 of the nes bible games, one is the joshua game and the other bible adventures. Also got 2 sealed in box software titles. The first is an ibm database thing, and the other was powersource 5 I believe.

Does your Brigandine have the map and instruction manual? Also, are those Halo PH's only the 'Best of Platinum Hits' or are there any that are just Platinum Hits?

It wasn't uncommon for people to go to GameStops/EB/Funcoland and take the cases to the games. Burn a disc, slap it in that case and now its like a real one!Brigandine has the map and instruction manual. Someone on CAG already bought it though.

The sealed Halos are all Best of Platinum Hits. I wonder if they did that. The microsoft security strips are in tact though. I don't expect it, they also had a bunch of opened copies of halo for some reason, and one sealed black label halo 2

Damn on the Brigandine. One of the last 'rares' for the PS I don't have.

What I meant by the loose cases was in regards to those PS games that you had that were burns. Not the copies of Halo.

**sigh** I guess I get to continue my hunt for the PH Halo as well...

Not to be a faux-mod, but...

Let's just nip this shit in the bud and stick to games.

I'm pretty sure we're allowed to post whatever finds we have, man. Nothing wrong with his post. It's interesting to me, and I post my music finds here even if there's no games, and nobody's ever complained.

Hi there, non faux-mod here. Nayus posted his find correctly. After our recent fun with a now banned member, I finally wrote out a bit of a What's it Worth subform 'guide' that i've been meaning to write for a long time. It's stickied just below this thread actually and isn't locked to allow for comments by anyone. I did put this paragraph in there and it fits this conversation perfectly and deserves a reposting. Emphasis was placed by me in regards to this post.

Welcome to 'What's It Worth?'! DP's one stop shop where you can find out what something is worth, as well as show off your finds! Need to know what that game you've got collecting dust is worth so you can maximize teh profits? Make a thread, be as descriptive as possible and let the answers come in. Finds don't have to be limited to games, as DVD/CD/Vinyl/Electronic finds are often posted, but please keep those finds in the montly finds thread.

paid $350 for everything, not everything is pictured because it is taking up my entire living room.

not bad because basically selling some of the ps1 games like brigandine, a mint arc the lad collection, all the resident evils, in the hunt long box, final doom and more i can't think of will make up my money, then there are about 100 more ps1 games that i'm probably going to get a booth at the swap meet and sell. then there are multiple copies of kotor 1 and 2, and most of those copies of halo and halo 2 are sealed with the microsoft strip on them. the things already wrapped in cardboard paper are wii zappers, there are 19 brand new wii zappers most of them they had already wrapped up. and i did open a couple to make sure something is in there.

**Tons of pics a crap load of PS stuff**

Nice freakin' haul man.

Still...Would have been quite epic for you to have snapped a pic of 20 PS1 systems strapped to the roof of the Metro. with the seats piled high with boxes of games. Woulda' made a nice avatar!

Still, nice haul.

Tecmo Super Bowl (Complete With An Extra Manual)

The NES stuff was marked $35, I offered $15 only to be told that $30 was the lowest they would take. This sale was rather early on my route and I left and actually decided to grab it on my way home since I didn't find much.

Still, nice haul.Yeah, it would've. When we had to put the PS1s on top I thought I wish I brought my camera. This isn't just any Geo Metro either. Instead of doors it has duct taped tarps, and you have to use a safety pin to start it up. We looked like we just robbed a game store.

I'll post other stuff later, but this one from today for now...

Amazing deal, the best group of games I've ever seen at once in a store for this system, and I got them all for a great price too... amazing stuff!

For $25, I got all of this:

Sega Genesis
--
Crusader of Centy - cart only (this was $5) - good Zelda clone. I'd heard it was good, but didn't realize that the graphics were this nice... better than I was expecting, initially at least.

Sega CD - this is the part I was most excited about. It was only $20 for all of this!
--
Chuck Rock - disc only
The Amazing Spider-Man Vs. The Kingpin - disc only
Robo Aleste - complete
Silpheed - complete
Android Assault - complete
The Adventures of Batman & Robin - complete
Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck - complete

... Yeah, see what I mean? The guy was originally going to ask for $5 each for the Sega CD games, but because I wanted to get all of them he decided to give me a good deal, and of course I immediately accepted... Robo Aleste, The Adventures of Batman & Robin, and Silpheed are all fantastic games that I've played quite a bit on burned copies, but having the actual things is of course much better. Those three are really fantastic games... Android Assault's pretty good too, another good shmup. The two Chuck Rock games are alright, but are on a lot of systems and aren't really any better here. Decent but not great stuff. Spiderman... eh, I don't know. It's alright I guess.

Oh, only Batman & Robin's case cover is completely intact; two others do have both hinges, but have cracks across the middle. The other two cases are missing a hinge. Damage is normal for these large jewelcases. I like them anyway...

NICE. These are three of my favorite Genesis/Sega CD games of all time, especially Crusader of Centy, which I am a huge fan of. Excellent price on all of that stuff!

$80 total.

Here's the story: I saw an ad for a "new" Gargoyle's Quest 2 on craigslist for $20. I contacted and eventually met with them. They got their game from a box. Curious, I looked to see what was else in the box. This is what I saw:
Holy. Fuck. I almost fainted. (http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/7919/p6110229.jpg)
I only had the cash on me for a few games, so I only ended up getting 5. Of all times to be broke...

Their prices are bizarre though. They want $5, $10, $15, $20, and $30 for most of the games, but for those copies of NES Open and Wizards & Warriors 3, they wanted $50 and $60.

A few things today, perhaps not worth pictures. If I find a good amount at the flea market I'll throw this stuff into the picture:

Sim City 2000 (PSX), The Next Tetris (PSX), and Mario Kart 64 - $1 a piece
IBM Model M keyboard - $1

And that's it. I'm excited about the Model M. I'll probably try it out on my computer sometime today.
